A型塞内卡病毒(SenecavirusA,SVA)是一种正义单链RNA病毒,属于小核糖核酸病毒科(Picornaviridae)塞内卡病毒属(Senecavirus)。该病毒自1988年以来在美国的猪群中悄然流行。加拿大和美国分别于2007年和2012年报告了该病毒相关的水疱性病例。自2014年年末和2015年年初以来,有关不同生产阶段的猪群暴发塞内卡病毒感染的报告越来越多,巴西、中国和泰国都在各自的猪群中检测到了该病毒。就现有的塞内卡病毒感染和疾病最新资料而言,2015年可能是该病毒流行病学上的一个分水岭。该病毒的地理分布、受影响猪群所处的生产阶段、感染引发的临床症状以及疾病的严重性都可以充实上述假设。本综述将介绍当前,尤其是近2年有关塞内卡病毒感染及其所引发疾病的知识,并将探讨塞内卡病毒的流行病学、致病力、宿主免疫反应、诊断方法以及预防和控制措施。展望部分则集中于人们对塞内卡病毒完整进化的流行病学和致病性数据的需求以及对其感染进行快速诊断的可能性。其在养猪业中固有的健康风险不容忽视。

Polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)and organochlorine pesticides(OCPs)are persistent organic pollutants(POPs)that bioaccumulate in adipose *** investigated the relationship between change in central adiposity and changes in circulating concentrations of POPs over a 12-year period during the *** concentrations of 34 PCBs and 19 OCPs were measured at four time points(1999/2000,2002/03,2005/06,2009/11)in a cohort of midlife women,the Study of Women’s Health Across the *** mixed models were used to test the association between a change in waist circumference and a change in serum POP ***-five women contributed 181 PCB ***-nine women contributed 151 OCP *** adjustment for covariates(study site,race and ethnicity,age at baseline,parity),a one-inch(2.54 cm)increase in the change in waist circumference between visits was associated with a 4.9%decrease in the change in serum concentration of PCB 194(95%CI:−8.0%,−1.6%).No associations were observed for other PCB congeners or the presence of *** increase in the difference in waist circumference over time was not associated with a change in the difference in serum concentrations of PCBs and OCPs except for PCB 194,possibly due to the high lipophilicity.

Microstructural Morphologies and Experimental Growth Laws during Solidification of Monotectic and Hypermonotectic Al-Pb Alloys

AI-Pb alloys with monotectic and hypermonotectic compositions were directionally solidified under unsteady- state heat flow conditions. The cooling curves recorded during solidification allowed solidification thermal parameters such as the cooling rate （T）, growth rate （v） and thermal gradient （G） to be experimentally determined. Different microstructural patterns have been associated with the alloy solute content, i.e., AI-1.2 and 2.1 wt% Pb. A sequence of morphologies from the bottom to the top of the A1-1.2 wt% Pb alloy casting （monotectic） can be observed： Pb-rich droplets in the aluminum-rich matrix, followed by a region of microstructural transition formed by droplets and fibers and finally by a mixture of fibers and strings of pearls. A completely fibrous structure （without transition） has been observed along the entire AI-2.1 wt% Pb alloy casting （hypermonotectic）. The interphase spacing （λ） was measured along the casting length, and experimental correlations between λand experimental solidification thermal parameters have been established. Power laws with a -2.2 exponent expressing λ as a function of the growth rate, v, were found to better represent the fibrous growth of both AI-Pb alloys. Moreover, a single experimental law expressing λ as a function of both G and v was found to describe the fibrous growth of both the monotectic and the hypermonotectic alloys experimentally examined.

The present investigation is based on the results of a directionally solidified （DS） Sn-9 wt%Zn-2 wt%Cu alloy, including primary/secondary/tertiary dendrite arm spacings of the Sn-rich matrix, the morphologies of the eutectic mixture and the corresponding interphase spacing, the nature and proportion of the Cu-Zn intermetallic compound （IMC）. The main purpose is to establish interrelations of these microstructure features with experimental solidification thermal parameters, such as cooling rates and growth rates （v）, macrosegregation and hardness. Such interrelations are interesting for both industry and academy since they represent a tool permitting the preprogramming of final properties based on the design of the microstructure. In the case of Sn-Zn-Cu alloys, hardly anything is known about the combined effects of the length scale of the microstructure and fraction and distribution of the primary IMC on hardness. The alloy microstructure is composed of a β-Sn dendritic region, surrounded by a eutectic mixture of α-Zn and β-Sn phases and the γ-Cu5Zn8 IMC. The eutectic interphase spacing varies in the range 1.2-3.6 μm, with the α-Zn phase having a globular morphology for ν 〉 0.5 mm/s and a needle-like morphology for ν 〈 0.3 mm/s. A modified Hall-Petch-type experimental expression relating hardness to the interphase spacing is proposed.

The use of an internal control in a multiplex-PCR assay for sex determination of In Vitro-produced bovine embryos was evaluated in biopsies of groups of 54 fresh and 44 frozen embryos. The internal controls used were the primers BOV 1 and BOV 2, which amplify a product with 626 base pairs (bp) of bovine mitochondrial DNA ND5 gene. The primers BRY.4aF and BRY.4aR were used for bovine Y chromosome sequence amplification. The specificity of multiplex- PCR reactions realized in biopsies corresponding to about 20% of each fresh embryo (10 male and 10 female) by means of confirming the sexing in the remaining embryo content (~80%) presented 100% specificity. Amplicons of the internal control and Y chromosome were both amplified until dilution corresponding to 6.25% of total extracted DNA from a male embryo. Sex determination was possible in 53 (98.1%) fresh embryos and 40 (90.9%) frozen embryos. The products related to the Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA were simultaneously amplified in 34 (63%) fresh embryos and 27 (61.4%) frozen embryos, showing a male embryo. The female sex, distinguished by internal control amplification only, was detected in 19 (35.2%) and 13 (29.5%) biopsies, respectively, of fresh and frozen embryos. In one (1.8%) and four (9.1%) biopsies of fresh and frozen embryos, respectively, neither product was amplified, most likely due to the absence of embryonic cells or the presence of embryonic cells going through apoptosis. The multiplex-PCR assay developed in this work showed avoided the limitation of a lack of an internal standard, and was also sensitive, specific, and efficient in reaction failure identification. This technique shows great potential for use on a commercial scale in routine sex determination of In Vitro-produced embryos.

Front-of-package(FOP)nutrition labelling schemes were developed to improve consumer’s comprehension about the food nutrients associated with non-communicable diseases(NCDs).Several FOPs have already been developed,and Brazil is in the process of evaluating a scheme to introduce in the *** aim of this study was to investigate the impact of TLS,the scheme proposed by the food industry,on the product healthfulness perception.A study with 141 participants was carried out.A conjoint task was designed considering three categories and levels:types of dairy products(light yogurt,prato cheese,and chocolate flavoured milk),Traffic Light System(yes ***)and brand(well-known ***).The effect of TLS on perceived healthfulness was evaluated using a 9-point scales(1:not healthy;9:very healthy).Results showed that the inclusion of TLS did not influence the perceived healthfulness of the products by consumers,even among consumers with higher interest in healthy *** findings suggest that the proposal supported by the food industry does not seem to be the most appropriate,being recommended the development of further studies to compare the efficacy of TLS and other FOP schemes.

Synthesis and Characterization of Iron-Rich Glass Ceramic Materials：A Model for Steel Industry Waste Reuse

Wastes deriving from steel industry, containing large amounts of iron oxides and heavy metals, when collected in landfills are subjected to atmospheric agents, with consequent release of toxic substances in the soil and groundwater. The reuse of these wastes as raw materials for the production of advanced materials is a viable way both to overcome the environmental impact and to reduce the disposal costs,proposing new technologically advanced materials. This work aims to simulate these interesting glassceramics by using glass cullet coming from recycled municipal waste and high amount of iron（III） oxide（from 25 wt% to 50 wt%）, the prevalent component of steel waste. The oxide was mixed with glass cullet and vitrified. The samples composition and the microstructure were investigated by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, and X-ray diffraction（XRD） was used to evaluate the nature of the crystalline *** chemical stability of the materials, in terms of ionic release into saline solution, was assessed. The electrical behavior of the samples was also investigated by varying the iron ions content and controlling the crystallization process. It is possible to obtain chemically stable materials with a nearly semiconducting behavior.

Corrosion behavior of hypoeutectic Al-Cu alloys in H_2SO_4 and NaCl solutions

The aim of this work was to evaluate the electrochemical behaviour of hypoeutectic Al-Cu alloys immersed in two different solutions containing sulphate and chloride ions, respectively. The influence of Al2Cu associated to the dendritic arm spacing on the general corrosion resistance of such alloys is analysed. The typical microstructural pattern was examined by using scanning electron microscope. The corrosion tests were performed in both 0.5 M sulphuric acid and 0.5 M NaCl solutions at 25℃ by using an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） technique and potentiodynamic polarization curves. Equivalent circuits by using the ZView software, were also used to provide quantitative support for the discussions. It was found that as the Cu content increased （i.e., increasing the Al2Cu fraction）, a higher susceptibility to the corrosion action in the NaCl solution is detected. In contrast, the tests carried out in the H2SO4 solution resulted in similar corrosion,rates for the three different hypoeutectic alloys.

In the present experimental investigation,Al–3 wt%Cu and Al–3 wt%Cu–0.5 wt%Mg alloys castings are produced by a horizontal solidification technique with a view to examining the interrelationship among growth rate(GR),cooling rate(CR),secondary dendrite arm spacing(λ2),Vickers microhardness(HV),and corrosion behavior in a 0.5 M NaCl *** intermetallic phases of the as-solidified microstructures,that is,h-Al2Cu,S–Al2CuMg,and x-Al7Cu2 Fe,are subjected to a comprehensive characterization by using calculations provided by computational thermodynamics software,optical microscopy,and scanning electron microscopy/energy-dispersive ***,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization tests have been applied to analyze the corrosion performance of samples of both alloys ***–Petch-type equations are proposed to represent the HV dependence onλ*** is shown that the addition of Mg to the Al–Cu alloy has led to a considerable increase in HV;however,the Al–Cu binary alloy is shown to have lower corrosion current density(icorr)as well as higher polarization resistance as compared to the corresponding results of the Al–Cu–Mg ternary alloy.
