OSDA-free synthesis of FeZSM-22 zeolite from natural minerals for n-octane hydroisomerization

A seed-directed approach to synthesizing Fe ZSM-22 zeolite without organic structure directing agent(OSDA)was developed by using Fe-rich diatomite as all aluminum and iron *** Fe ZSM-22zeolite with optimal crystallinity and purity can be obtained by systematically adjusting feed composition and synthesis *** show that Fe ZSM-22 zeolite synthesized with OSDA-free owns high crystallinity,obvious thin needle-shaped morphology and high Bronsted/Lewis acid ***,when used for n-octane hydroisomerization reaction,its derived catalyst exhibits the best catalytic performance reflected by the highest selectivity to c_(8)isomers compared to the two reference catalysts prepared based on a Fe-containing and a Fe-free ZSM-22 synthesized through an OSDA-directed route from natural diatomite and conventional chemicals,*** work provides an alternative route to sustainably synthesizing heteroatomic zeolites with high performance.

The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the internal consistency and construct validity of a self-report checklist measuring clinical mental health recovery across six key domains:family and relationships,occupation and school,physical health,mental health,spirituality,and social support *** Mental Health Recovery checklist(MHRc)was developed at The Dorm,an intensive outpatient mental health treatment program for young adults in New york,Ny,and Washington Dc that services individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years *** present study is cross-sectional,as data were pulled from clients’records who were discharged between January 2018 and May *** correlations and cronbach’s alpha were used to determine scale *** establish validity,an Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA)was conducted to assess a single-factor model using Principal Axis ***’s alpha was high(α=0.88),indicating good *** the EFA,all items loaded strongly on a single *** unidimensional structure revealed in the EFA highlights the interconnected nature of various life domains as they pertain to mental health recovery in young *** research is warranted to explore whether there are additional dimensions of mental health recovery that have not been assessed in the present scale.

Hydrogen(H_(2))is a promising renewable energy which finds wide applications as the world gears toward low-carbon ***,current H_(2) production via steam methane reforming of natural gas or gasification of coal are laden with high cO_(2) ***,methane(cH_(4))pyrolysis has emerged as a potential technology to generate low-carbon H_(2) and solid *** this review,the current state-of-art and recent progress of H_(2) production from cH_(4) pyrolysis are reviewed in *** such as funda-mental mechanism and chemistry involved,effect of process parameters on the conversion efficiency and reaction kinetics for various reaction media and catalysts are elucidated and critically ***-ature,among other factors,plays the most critical influence on the methane pyrolysis *** metal/salt could lower the operating temperature of methane pyrolysis tochnology usually operates in the regime of>1000℃.Based on the reaction kinetics,metal-based cata-lysts were more efficient in lowering the activation energy of the reaction to 29.5-88 kJ/mol from that of uncatalyzed reaction(147-420.7 kJ/mol).Besides,the current techno-economic performance of the pro-cess reveals that the levelized cost of H_(2) is directly influenced by the sales price of carbon(by-product)generated,which could offset the overall ***,the main challenges of reactor design for efficient product separation and retrieval,as well as catalyst deactivation/poisoning need to be debottlenecked.

Insufficient future liver remnant (FLR) is an important factor that precludes patient from upfront major liver resection as it predisposes to post-hepatectomy liver failure and mortality. As such, augmentation of FLR by portal vein embolization (PVE) was the conventional approach to improve the safety profile of major hepatectomy. In recent years, associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy (ALPPS) has been popularized as an alternative approach for FLR augmentation (1,2). However, the initial inception of the ALPPS procedure was met by criticism for its high incidence of procedure-related morbidity, such as bile leakage and sepsis (3). In light of this issue, an international registry was set up for collection of cases and experience around the world and soon after that, the first International Expert Meeting was held in Hamburg in 2015 that led to the publication of eight recommendations on terminology of the procedures, indications and techniques for ALPPS (4). Two years later, a pre-congress meeting was held during the EHPBA (European Hepatopancreatobiliary Association) 12th Annual congress in Mainz, Germany to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of ALPPS (5) since the first case was performed by Prof. Hans Schlitt a decade ago (1). During this meeting, ten different aspects on ALPPS were covered including surgical anatomy, underlying mechanisms, perioperative assessment of liver function, technical approach, indications and its effectiveness in comparison to two-stage hepatectomy.

Tropical cyclone activities in the Western North Pacific in 2022

Based on the best-track dataset from the Shanghai Typhoon Institute/china Meteorological Administration,the paper provides a compre-hensive summary and analysis of tropical cyclone(Tc)activities in the Western North Paciﬁc(WNP)and the South china Sea(ScS)for *** the historical climatology from 1951 to 2020,the anomalous conditions during 2022 in Tc frequency,origin locations,tracks,intensity,and duration for the entire ocean basin as well as landfall events in china are *** show that the overall Tc frequency is slightly lower than normal,but the multiple Tc events have a very high frequency of *** locations of Tcs,which mark the starting points of their paths,show a large westward and northward deviation from *** 40%of the named Tcs exhibit a shift in their direction of movement from westerly to ***,comparisons of the means,medians,upper and lower quartiles all indicate that the intensity of Tcs in 2022 is generally lower than the climatology,with the duration of Tcs at tropical storm intensity or above being shorter than usual.A notable observation is the fewer incidence of Tc landfalls in china,but with a geographical concentration in Guangdong *** anomalous annual Tc activities are inﬂuenced by related atmospheric and oceanic environmental conditions modulated by multi-scale climate ***ﬁndings provide useful information for enhancing disaster mitigation strategies in the Asia-Paciﬁc region.

Heteroatom-doped transition metal oxides have attracted great attention as advanced anode materials for lithium-ion batteries due to their high theoretical capacity and superior ***,the limited resource availability has led to a substantial rise in prices for valuable metals such as Ni and co,posing a significant challenge for their *** address this issue,recycling of these metals from waste materials have gained prominence,and particularly the recovery of co has been mostly focused on its economic ***,we introduced a novel recycling strategy for fabrication of heteroatomdoped coOx（comprising mainly co3O4with a minor coO phase） anode with a yolk–shell structure for lithium-ion batteries,by separating co from cemented tungsten carbide *** employing a simple leaching process and subsequent spray pyrolysis,the yolk–shell structured microsphere comprising coOxwas successfully ***,the presence of other waste metals in the leachate facilitated multi-heteroatom doping during ***,the introduction of various dopants into coOxinduced oxygen vacancy formation,thereby enhancing the electrochemical properties of the *** a result,compared with the phase-pure （undoped） coOxyolk–shell,the heteroatom-doped coOxyolk–shell exhibited robust cycling stability (602 mAh·g-1for 200 cycles at 1 A·g-1) and excellent rate capability(210 mAh·g-1at 10 A·g-1).

Background Understanding the evolution of circadian rhythm dysfunction and psychopathology in the high-risk population has important implications for the prevention of bipolar ***,some of the previous studies on the emergence of psychopathologies and circadian dysfunction among high-risk populations were inconsistent and *** To examine the prevalence rates of sleep and circadian dysfunctions,mental disorders and their symptoms in the offspring of parents with(O-BD)and without bipolar disorder(O-control).Methods The study included 191 O-BD and 202 O-control subjects aged 6-21 years from the Greater Bay Area,*** diagnoses and symptoms of sleep/circadian rhythm and mental disorders were assessed by the Diagnostic Interview for Sleep Patterns and Disorders,and the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age children-Present and Lifetime Version,*** estimating equations and shared frailty proportional hazards models of survival analysis were applied to compare the outcomes in the *** Adjusting for age,sex and region of recruitment,there was a significantly higher risk of delayed sleep phase symptoms(9.55%vs 2.58%,adjusted OR:4.04)in O-BD than in O-control.O-BD had a nearly fivefold higher risk of mood disorders(11.70%vs 3.47%,adjusted OR:4.68)and social anxiety(6.28%vs 1.49%,adjusted OR:4.70),a fourfold higher risk of depressive disorders(11.17%vs 3.47%,adjusted OR:3.99)and a threefold higher risk of mood symptoms(20.74%vs 10.40%,adjusted OR:2.59)than *** analysis revealed that O-BD children(aged under 12 years)had a nearly 2-fold higher risk of any mental and behavioural symptoms than O-control,while there was a nearly 4-fold higher risk of delayed sleep phase symptoms,a 7.5-fold higher risk of social anxiety and a 3-fold higher risk of mood symptoms in O-BD adolescents(aged 12 years and over).conclusions There was an increase in delayed sleep phase symptoms in O-BD
