Inflammatory skin disorders can cause chronic scarring and functional impairments,posing a significant burden on patients and the healthcare *** therapies,such as corticosteroids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,are limited in efficacy and associated with adverse ***,nanozyme(NZ)-based hydrogels have shown great promise in addressing these ***-based hydrogels possess unique therapeutic abilities by combining the therapeutic benefits of redox nanomaterials with enzymatic activity and the water-retaining capacity of *** multifaceted therapeutic effects of these hydrogels include scavenging reactive oxygen species and other inflammatory mediators modulating immune responses toward a pro-regenerative environment and enhancing regenerative potential by triggering cell migration and *** review highlights the current state of the art in NZ-engineered hydrogels(NZ@hydrogels)for anti-inflammatory and skin regeneration *** also discusses the underlying chemo-mechano-biological mechanisms behind their ***,the challenges and future directions in this ground,particularly their clinical translation,are *** insights provided in this review can aid in the design and engineering of novel NZ-based hydrogels,offering new possibilities for targeted and personalized skin-care therapies.

Date palm pit(DPP)-filled poly(-hydroxybutyrate)(PHB)composites were prepared,evaluated,and characterized to determine their thermal insulation *** conductivity values ranged between 0.086 and 0.100 W/(m·k).At a maximum filler concentration(50%(w)),the specific heat capacity and thermal diffusivity were 1183 J/(kg·k)and 0.0689 mm^(2)/s,*** DPP increased the thermal stability,and the highest compressive strength obtained was 80 MPa at 30%filler *** PHB-DPP composites exhibited promising water absorption(less than 6%)and tensile strength(6-14 MPa).Date-pit-based PHB composites could be used in sustainable building engineering and cleaner production.

Chronic kidney disease(CkD)is a major health concern today,requiring early and accurate *** learning has emerged as a powerful tool for disease detection,and medical professionals are increasingly using ML classifier algorithms to identify CkD *** study explores the application of advanced machine learning techniques on a CkD dataset obtained from the University of California,UC Irvine Machine Learning *** research introduces TrioNet,an ensemble model combining extreme gradient boosting,random forest,and extra tree classifier,which excels in providing highly accurate predictions for ***,k nearest neighbor(kNN)imputer is utilized to deal withmissing values while synthetic minority oversampling(SMOTE)is used for class-imbalance *** ascertain the efficacy of the proposed model,a comprehensive comparative analysis is conducted with various machine learning *** proposed TrioNet using kNN imputer and SMOTE outperformed other models with 98.97%accuracy for *** in-depth analysis demonstrates the model’s capabilities and underscores its potential as a valuable tool in the diagnosis of CkD.

The parity generators and the checkers are the most important circuits in communication systems. With the development of multi-valued logic (MVL), the proposed system with parity generators and checkers is the most required using the recently developed optoelectronic technology in the modified trinary number (MTN) system. This system also meets up the tremendous needs of speeds by exploiting the savart plates and spatial light modulators (SLM) in the optical tree architecture (OTA).

The memory devices in multi-valued logic are of most significance in modem research. This paper deals with the implementation of basic memory devices in multi-valued logic using Savart plate and spatial light modulator （SLM） based optoelectronic circuits. Photons are used here as the carder to speed up the operations. Optical tree architecture （OTA） has been also utilized in the optical interconnection network. We have exploited the advantages of Savart plates, SLMs and OTA and proposed the SLM based high speed Jk, D-type and T-type flip-flops in a trinary system.

The demand of present technology inviting the popularity of multivalued optical computation system to coup up with the latest scenario of ultrahigh processing speed and handling large amount of data The magnitude comparator is the heart of the arithmetic and logic unit(ALU)in any logical processing and computing *** this paper,a trinary magnitude comparator circuit has been proposed and implemented with modified trinary number(MTN)*** tree architecture(OTA)of the proposed circuit has been realized reasonably using Savart plate and spatial light modulators(SLM).A simulation algorithm has also been developed and implemented to prove the authenticity of the proposed circuit through the simulation.

A model is developed to enable estimation of chloramine demand in full scale drinking water supplies based on chemical and microbiological factors that affect chloramine decay rate via nonlinear regression analysis *** model is based on organic character（specific ultraviolet absorbance（SUVA）） of the water samples and a laboratory measure of the microbiological（Fm） decay of *** applicability of the model for estimation of chloramine residual（and hence chloramine demand） was tested on several waters from different water treatment plants in Australia through statistical test analysis between the experimental and predicted *** showed that the model was able to simulate and estimate chloramine demand at various times in real drinking water *** elucidate the loss of chloramine over the wide variation of water quality used in this study,the model incorporates both the fast and slow chloramine decay *** significance of estimated fast and slow decay rate constants as the kinetic parameters of the model for three water sources in Australia was *** was found that with the same water source,the kinetic parameters remain the *** modelling approach has the potential to be used by water treatment operators as a decision support tool in order to manage chloramine disinfection.

Developing a chloramine decay index to understand nitrification:A case study of two chloraminated drinking water distribution systems

The management of chloramine decay and the prevention of nitrification are some of the critical issues faced by water utilities that use chloramine as a *** this study,potential association between high performance size exclusion chromatography（HPSEC）data obtained with multiple wavelength Ultraviolet（UV） detection from two drinking water distribution systems in Australia and nitrification occurrence was *** increase in the absorbance signal of HPSEC profiles with UV detection at λ = 230 nm between apparent molecular weights of 200 to 1000 Da was observed at sampling sites that experienced rapid chloramine decay and nitrification while its absorbance signal at λ =254 nm decreased.A chloramine decay index（C.D.I） defined as the ratio of area beneath the HPSEC spectra at two different wavelengths of 230 and 254 nm,was used in assessing chloramine decay *** *** of waters at locations that experienced nitrification were consistently higher than locations not experiencing nitrification.A simulated laboratory study showed that the formation of nitrite/nitrate and/or soluble microbial products and/or the release of extracellular polymeric substances（EPS） during nitrification may contribute to the *** findings suggest that C.D.I derived from HPSEC with multiple wavelength UV detection could be an informative index to track the occurrence of rapid chloramine decay and nitrification.
