Non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor was developed for estimation of low-level ***/tungsten carbide(PIN/WC)nanocomposite was synthesized and used as an electroactive material to develop low-cost modified stainless steel plate electrode(SSPE).Surface morphology of developed electrode was characterized by scanning electron *** behavior of cholesterol was investigated through electron impedance spectroscopy,potentiodynamic polarization and cyclic voltammetry in 1-M KOH electrolytic *** quantification of cholesterol was studied by square wave voltammetry and differential pulse *** calibration plots between the cholesterol concentration and peak current were in linear relation with limit of detection of 1.23×10^(−6) mol L^(−1).the overall result reveals that developed PIN/WC/SSPE electrode has excellent performance for trace-level cholesterol estimation and can be further employed for cholesterol monitoring in blood serum samples.

随着水平井的出现，我们用于提高重油采收率的方法已经悄悄地发生了明显的变化：从利用水驱井网从注入井到生产井经过数百米的长距离驱替可动油到短距离驱油(SDOD)方法(通常只有几米)。由于油的粘度较高，因此将它驱替到位于较远距离的生产井常常效率较低。在这些情况下，所需的压降可能很大，且注入物与油之间的流度比极高。这样就有可能发生重力超覆或窜流，导致极低的体积波及效率，因而通常处于边际或不经济状态。利用水平井，就能缩短可动油到达生产井的旅行距离。SDOD方法目的在于使油流动，并通过使油经过很短的距离进入生产井来迅速生产它。SDOD方法可利用水平生产井或注入井，或将水平生产井与垂直注入井结合起来。根据相对于生产井水平段的驱替前缘位置，SDOD方法可分为两种类型：1．驱替前缘准平行于水平生产井。2．驱替前缘准垂直于水平生产井。第一类SDOD方法使用了两口平行水平井(一口用于注入，一口用于生产)，第二类方法使用了一口垂直注入井和一口水平生产井，其中生产井的趾部接近注入井的靴部。在第一类方法中，生产发生在整个水平井段。在第二类方法中，波及区域得到扩展并从趾部移向跟部，用更短的水平井段进行生产。蒸汽辅助重力泄油(SAGD)和蒸汽抽提(VAPEX)方法属于第一类。趾部到跟部(ttH)驱替法是第二类方法。ttH方法可应用于非热力模式，如趾部到跟部水驱，也可以应用于热力模式，如tHAI(趾部到跟部注空气)以及它的变种CAPRI方法(目的在于原油地下改质)。对SDOD方法(SAGD、VAPEX和ttH驱替方法)进行了分析，重点根据以下因素分析它们的相对优点：由于重力分异引起的超覆或潜流、由于储层非均质性引起的注入物窜流和注入物／油流度比引起的不稳定性。这些不利因素对确定长距离采油技术的效率很重要，但它们在SDOD方法中的重要性要明显小得多。因此，在许多情况下，借助SDOD的10R／EOR方法通常要比其它方法具有更高的重油开采效率。最后，根据现有的实验室和模拟结果检验了不同ttH驱替方法背后的基本概念。还讨论了SDOD方法现场实施的各个方面和实际考虑。

Both benign and malignant tumors may arise from any of the structures contained within the parapharyngeal space. Parapharyngeal space is difficult to reach and formidable area to approach by any surgeon. Due to its deep placement and approximation to vital structures, not only is tumour involving this space a difficult task to manage for the surgeon, but even its diagnosis may elude the doctor. Even the battery of clinical, biochemical or radiological tests diagnosis remains a difficult objective. We aim to provide an adjunct mode of aiding the diagnosis in the form of tumour markers. though tumour markers alone are not sufficient, with the help of other tests, the diagnosis can be reached in a fairly accurate measure.
