Extra.tion of tita.ium（Ⅳ）from rea. chloride lea.h liquor of ilmenite wa. ca.ried out with 0.1 mol L^（-1）di-（2-ethylhexyl）phosphoric a.id（HDEHP）in *** a.d kinetics studies for Ti（Ⅳ）were ca.ried out in the presence of impurities tha. were lea.hed with Ti（Ⅳ）.Pa.a.eters a.fecting extra.tion ra.e of Ti（Ⅳ）from chloride media.in the presence of Fe（Ⅲ）,Mg（Ⅱ）,a.d a.（Ⅲ）were studied to eva.ua.e the stoichiometry of extra.ted Ti（Ⅳ）*** is found tha. the extra.tion ra.e of Ti（Ⅳ）is dependent on the extra.ta.t concentra.ion a.d pH of *** the optimum conditions,more tha. 95%Ti（Ⅳ）ca. be *** the ba.is of slope a.a.ysis method,the extra.ted species of Ti（Ⅳ）a.pea.s to be[TiO（H_2a.2）_2]_（org）,where H_2a.2 refers to ***,the kinetic studies of the extra.tion process of Ti（Ⅳ）a.d other meta. ion impurities were ca.ried out by a.Lewis cell with a.consta.t interfa.ia. a.ea.of 16.7 cm^*** of the experimenta. results suggests tha. The combina.ion of PCR a.plifica.ion of 16S rRNa.genes with dena.uring gra.ient gel electrophoresis （DGGE） a.a.ysis wa. used to revea. the compositions a.d dyna.ics of ba.teria. communities in a.sewa.e trea.ment pla.t with two systems, i.e., a. a.oxic- a.a.robic-a.robic system （inverted a.O） a.d a. a.a.robic-a.oxic-a.robic one （conventiona. a.O） over a.period from Februa.y to July 2009, during which both systems experienced serious sludge bulking problems. The DGGE pa.terns showed tha. there were ma.y common ba.ds in both systems, suggesting the high simila.ity of ba.teria. communities of the two systems. Mea.while, the moving window correla.ion a.a.ysis showed tha. the two systems experienced different microbia. community structure cha.ges during the period, which might be rela.ed with the different situa.ions of the occurrence a.d disa.pea.a.ce of sludge bulking, a. being reflected by sludge volume index （SVI） va.ues. Ma.or ba.ds of DGGE pa.terns of sludge sa.ples were further sequenced. Phylogenetic a.filia.ion indica.ed tha. the ma.ority of the sequences obta.ned were a.filia.ed with a.tinoba.teria. Firmicutes, Ba.teroidetes/Chlorobi group a.d α- a.d β-Proteoba.teria. Two sequences showed high simila.ities to typica. fila.entous ba.teria.Microthrix pa.vicella.a.d Nostocoida.limicola.I, indica.ing tha. these ba.teria. species ha.e been involved in the sludge bulking problems.

Pure a.uminum sa.ples were processed by equa. cha.nel a.gula. pressing（ECa.） up to 10 pa.ses a. room tempera.ure. The effects of the ECa. number of pa.ses on the microstructure evolution, the mecha.ica. properties, deforma.ion homogeneity a.d corrosion beha.ior of the processed sa.ples were fully investiga.ed. The imposed stra.n resulted in a. obvious reduction in the gra.n size from 390 μm before ECa. down to 1.8, 0.4, a.d 0.3 μm a.ter ECa. up to 2, 4 a.d 10 pa.ses, respectively. The microha.dness, deforma.ion homogeneity a.d tensile strength were increa.ed while the elonga.ion decrea.ed with the increa.e of ECa. number of pa.ses. Immersion tests, open circuit potentia., Ta.el pola.iza.ion, cyclic pola.iza.ion a.d potentiosta.ic mea.urements in 3.5% Na.Cl solution revea.ed a. obvious improvement in the corrosion resista.ce of ECa. processed sa.ples compa.ed with the a.-ca.t sa.ple. The increa.e of the number of pa.ses ca. be used successfully in producing ultra.fine gra.ned（UFG） bulk pure a.uminum sa.ple with a.high misorienta.ion a.gle, rea.ona.ly high mecha.ica. properties a.d corrosion resista.ce.

The effect of ca.bon bla.k （CB） a.d gra.hite （G） powders on the ma.roscopic a.d na.o-sca.e free volume properties of silicone rubber ba.ed on poly（di-methylsiloxa.e）（PDMS） wa. studied through therma. a.d cyclic mecha.ica. mea.urements, a. well a. with positron a.nihila.ion lifetime spectroscopy （Pa.S）. The melting tempera.ure of the composites （Tm） a.d the endothermic entha.py of melting （ΔHm） were estima.ed by differentia. sca.ning ca.orimetry （DSC）. Tm a.d the degree of crysta.linity （χc） of PDMS composites were found to decrea.e with increa.ing the CB content. This ca. be expla.ned due to the increa.e in physica. cross-linking which results in a.decrea.e in the crysta.lite thickness. Besides, χc wa. found to be dependent on the filler type. Cyclic stress-stra.n beha.ior of PDMS loa.ed with different contents of filler ha. been studied. Mullins ra.io （RM） wa. found to be dependent on the filler type a.d content. It wa. found tha., RM increa.es with increa.ing the filler content due to the increa.e in physica. cross-linking which results in a.decrea.e in the size of free volume, a. observed through a.decrea.e of the o-Ps lifetime τ3 mea.ured by Pa.S. Moreover, the hysteresis in PDMS-CB composites wa. more pronounced tha. in PDMS-G composites. Furthermore, a.correla.ion wa. esta.lished between the free volume Vf a.d the mecha.ica. properties of PDMS composites conta.ning different fillers. a.nega.ive correla.ion wa. observed between Vf a.d RM.
