Petrogenesis of the crater-facies Tokapal kimberlite pipe,Indrvati Basin,Central India

New geochemical data of the crater-facies Tokapal kimberlite system sandwiched between the lower and upper stratigraphic horizons of the Mesoproterozoic lndravati Basin a：：e presented. The kimberlite has been subjected to extensive and pervasive low-temperature alteration. Spinel is the only primary phase identifiable, while olivine macrocrysts and juvenile lapilli are largely pseudomorphed （talc-serpentine- carbonate alteration）. However, with the exception of the alkalies, major element oxides display systematic fractionation trends; likewise, HFSE patterns are well correlated and allow petrogenetic interpretation. Various crustal contamination indices such as （SiO2 ＋ AI：：O3 ~ Na20）]（MgO ~ K20） and Si] Mg are close to those of uncontaminated kimberlites. Similar La]Yb （＇79-109） of the Tokapal samples with those from the kimberlites of Wajrakarur （73-145） and Narayanpet （72-156）, Eastern Dharwar craton, southern India implies a similarity in their genesis. In the discriminant plots involving HFSE the Tokapal samples display strong affinities to Group 1I kimberlites from southern Africa and central India as well as to ＇transitional kimberlites＇ from the Eastern Dharwar craton, southern India, and those from the Prieska and Kuruman provinces of southern Africa. There is a striking ~;imilarity in the depleted-mantle （TOM） Nd model ages of the Tokapal kimberlite system, Bastar craton, th~ kimberlites from NKF and WKE Eastern Dharwar craton, and the Majhgawan diatreme, Bundelkhand craton, with the emplacement age of some of the lamproites from within and around the Palaeo^Mesoproterozoic Cuddapah basin, southern India. These similar ages imply a major tectonomagmatic event, possibly related to the break- up of the supercontinent of Columbia, at 1.3-1.5 Ga across the l：hree cratons. Introduction:Optimal sound transmission across the ossicular chain is dependent on the appropriate alignment of the middle ear *** joint(ISJ)is conventionally considered to be at right ***:We intended to study the ISJ anatomy and the impact of temporal bone pneumatization on the ***:In a cadaveric study comprising of 47 human temporal bones,canal wall down mastoidectomy was carried out under microscopic guidance keeping the ossicular chain *** morphology of ISJ was recorded and analysed with respect to the pneumatization status of the temporal *** data analysis was performed using statistical software Stata version ***:The mean ISJ angle for the 47 bones was 90.5^0(SD-15^0;range:54^0-122^0).The mean angle in well pneumatized bones was 93.7^0(SD-16.5;Range:54°-122^0)and in sclerotic mastoids was 88.7^0(SD-14;Range:68°-118^0).The difference in the ISJ angle in these two conditions was not statistically significant(p=0.27).The mean angle was found to be significantly more obtuse in the cases with partially eroded ISJ(111.4^0{SD-8.8;range:100.3^0-221.9^0};p=0.0001)and in the cases with an‘adherent/tilted morphology’of the stapes suprastructure with the promontory(mean-95.8^0(SD-13.8;range:70.7^0-120.4^0);p-<0.00001).Conclusion:The ISJ angle shows considerable *** variability needs to be taken into account when undertaking middle ear reconstructive procedures,specifically the ones involving the stapes *** mastoid pneumatization does not appear to have an impact on the ISJ angle.

Biometric applications widely use the face as a component for recognition and automatic *** rotation is a variable component and makes face detection a complex and challenging task with varied angles and *** problem has been investigated,and a novice algorithm,namely RIFDS(Rotation Invariant Face Detection System),has been *** objective of the paper is to implement a robust method for face detection taken at various *** to achieve better results than known algorithms for face *** RIFDS Polar Harmonic Transforms(PHT)technique is combined with Multi-Block Local Binary Pattern(MBLBP)in a hybrid *** MBLBP is used to extract texture patterns from the digital image,and the PHT is used to manage invariant rotation *** this manner,RIFDS can detect human faces at different rotations and with different facial *** RIFDS performance is validated on different face databases like LFW,ORL,CMU,MIT-CBCL,JAFFF Face Databases,and Lena *** results show that the RIFDS algorithm can detect faces at varying angles and at different image resolutions and with an accuracy of 99.9%.The RIFDS algorithm outperforms previous methods like Viola-Jones,Multi-blockLocal Binary Pattern(MBLBP),and Polar HarmonicTransforms(PHTs).The RIFDS approach has a further scope with a genetic algorithm to detect faces(approximation)even from shadows.

Background:The prime objective of the current research was to evaluate the whole plant hydroalcoholic extract of Ludwigia octovalvis(HLO)against hyperglycemia,and oxidative stress biomarkers in rats induced with diabetes comorbid depression,diabetes comorbid depression(streptozotocin-nicotinamide+electric footshocks).Methods:2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl assay of HLO versus ascorbic acid was *** of 200 and 400 mg/kg body weight/day HLO doses versus 25 mg/kg body weight/day metformin was studied through insulin,glucose,superoxide dismutase,lipid peroxidation,catalase,and behavioral assessment(forced swim and open field tests).Results:IC50 values of HLO and ascorbic acid were 33.52 and 27.86μg/mL *** the HLO doses showed intended results with respect to oxidative stress biomarkers in diabetes comorbid depression rats in comparison to *** field test showed better results for HLO in diabetes comorbid depression ***,hypoglycemic effects,and forced swim test performance of metformin was slightly higher than the 400 mg dose,followed by the 200 mg dose of *** gallate,gallic acid,β-sitosterol,and quercetin in HLO might resulted in attenuating diabetic as well as depression ***:Inhibition of glucosidase and lipase activity,and AMP-activated protein kinase phosphorylation might be the possible biochemical changes occurred in HLO treated rats.

Laser cladding of powder mixture of TiN and SS304 is carried out on an SS304 substrate with the help of fibre *** experiments are performed on SS304,as per the Taguchi orthogonal array(L^(16))by different combinations of controllable parameters(microhardness and clad thickness).The microhardness and clad thickness are recorded at all the experimental runs and studied using Taguchi S/N ratio and the optimum controllable parametric combination is ***,an artificial neural network(ANN)identifies different sets of optimal combinations from Taguchi method but they both got almost the same clad thickness and hardness *** micro-hardness of cladded layer is found to be6.22 times(HV_(0.5)752)the SS304 hardness(HV_(0.5)121).The presence of nitride ceramics results in a higher micro *** cladded surface is free from cracks and *** average clad thickness is found to be around 0.6 mm.

Intestinal loop stoma is a common surgical procedure performed for various benign and malignant abdominal problems,but it rarely undergoes spontaneous closure,without surgical *** male patients presented to our emergency surgical department with acute abdominal *** of them was diagnosed as having rectosigmoid perforation and underwent diversion sigmoid loop colostomy after primary closure of the *** other was a known case of carcinoma of the rectum who had already undergone low anterior resection with covering loop ileostomy;the patient underwent second loop ileostomy,this time for complicated intestinal *** our surprise,both the loop colostomy and ileostomy closed spontaneously at 8 weeks and 6 weeks,respectively,without any *** stoma closure is a rare and interesting *** exact etiology for spontaneous closure remains unknown,but it may be hypothesized to result from slow retraction of the stoma,added to the concept of a tendency towards spontaneous closure of enterocutaneous fistula.
