Complementary exponential geometric distribution has many applications in survival and reliability *** to its importance,in this study,we are aiming to estimate the parameters of this model based on progressive type-II censored *** do this,we applied the stochastic expectation maximization method and Newton-Raphson techniques for obtaining the maximum likelihood *** also considered the estimation based on bayesian method using several approximate:MCMC samples,Lindely approximation and Metropolis-Hasting *** addition,we considered the shrinkage estimators based on bayesian and maximum likelihood ***,the HPD intervals for the parameters are constructed based on the posterior samples from the Metropolis-Hasting *** the sequel,we obtained the performance of different estimators in terms of biases,estimated risks and Pitman closeness via Monte Carlo simulation *** paper will be ended up with a real data set example for illustration of our purpose.

Dear Editor, Higher plants have evolved hundreds of genes encodingreceptor-like kinases （RLKs）, which function as cell surfacereceptors perceiving developmental and environmental sig-nals （Shiu et al., 2004）. Many RLKs have been shown to playspecific roles in hormone responses, developmental regula-tion, defense against pathogen infection, and adaptationto abiotic stresses （Chae et al., 2009; Antolin-Llovera et al.,2012）. The mechanisms that ensure specific signal transduc-tion from each RLK to target cellular responses remain poorlyunderstood. Recent studies revealed that many RLKs trans-duce signals by phosphorylating receptor-like cytoplasmickinases （RLCKs）, which lack the transmembrane domainsbut are anchored at the plasma membrane through lipidmodification （Tang et al., 2008; Zhang et al., 2010; Shi et al.,2013）. There are over 400 RLKs and only about 150 RLCKs inArabidopsis （Shiu et al., 2004）. One outstanding question iswhether each RLCK mediates signaling downstream of a spe-cific RLK, participates in multiple RLK pathways, or mediatescrosstalk between RLK pathways.

Objective： To evaluate the effect of chitosan （CH） and hydrogen peroxide （H2O） seed coatings and seedling sprinklings on two different maize varieties by measuring their phenology, the H202 presence, the catalase （CAT） activity, and the protein quantity. Methods： Seven groups of ten seeds for each maize variety were treated with CH （2% （20 g/L） and 0.2% （2 g/L）） or H2O2 （8 mmol/L） by coating, sprinkling, or both. Germination and seedling growth were measured. One month after germination, the presence of H202 in seedlings in the coated seed treatments was evaluated. Protein content and CAT activity were determined under all treatments. Results： H2O2 seed coating en- hanced the germination rate and increased seedling and stem length in the quality protein maize （QPM） variety. Seedlings had a higher emergence velocity under this treatment in both varieties. CH and H2O2 sprinklings did not have an effect on seedling phenology. Exogenous application of H2O2 promoted an increase of endogenousH2O2. OH and H2O2seedling sprinkling increased the protein content in both maize varieties, while there was no significant effect on the CAT activity of treated seeds and seedlings. Conclusions： CH and H2O2 enhance some phenological and biochemical features of maize depending on their method of application.

Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors have emerged as promising candidates for optoelectronic devices with unprecedented properties and ultra-compact footprints. However, the high sensitivity of atomically thin materials to the surrounding dielectric media imposes severe limitations on their practical applicability. Hence, to enable the effective integration of these materials in devices, the development of reliable encapsulation procedures that preserve their physical properties is required. Here, the excitonic photoluminescence （at room temperature and 10 K） is assessed on mechanically exfoliated WSe2 monolayer flakes encapsulated with SiOx and AlxOy layers by means of chemical and physical deposition techniques. Conformal coating on untreated and non- functionalized flakes is successfully achieved by all the techniques examined, with the exception of atomic layer deposition, for which a cluster-like oxide coating is formed. No significant compositional or strain state changes in the flakes are detected upon encapsulation, independently of the technique adopted. Remarkably, our results show that the optical emission of the flakes is strongly influenced by the stoichiometry quality of the encapsulating oxide. When the encapsulation is carried out with slightly sub-stoichiometric oxides, two remarkable phenomena are observed. First, dominant trion （charged exciton） photoluminescence is detected at room temperature, revealing a clear electrical doping of the monolayers. Second, a strong decrease in the optical emission of the monolayers is observed, and attributed to non-radiative recombination processes and/or carrier transfer from the flake to the oxide. Power- and temperature-dependent photoluminescence measurements further confirm that stoichiometric oxides obtained by physical deposition lead to a successful encapsulation, opening a promising route for the development of integrated two-dimensional devices.

Dear Editor,The emergence of Omicron subvariants has required additional boosters to induce a highly neutralizing antibody response.1 However,the new Omicron subvariants bQ.1 and Xbb,evade the humoral response induced by multiple mRNA vaccinations and infections.2,3 Cansinobio(Ad5-nCoV)is a single-dose adenovirus vector-based vaccine with high protection against severe disease4 but lower efficacy and antibody response than mRNA ***,hybrid immunity induced by infection plus vaccine or heterologous vaccines has produced a robust neutralizing antibody response.
