Petrographic and Geochemicial Characteristics of the Kiziloren Formation (Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic) in the Akpinar (Konya,Turkey) Area

This paper describes the occurrence of dolomite and the mechanism of dolomitization of the Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic Klzlloren Formation in the autochthonous Bolkardagl unit of the middle Taurus mountains in south western Turkey. Dolomites were analyzed for geochemical, isotopic and crystallographic variation. Dolomites occur as a replacement of precursor carbonate and cement. The dolomite crystals range from 〈10 to -1000 ltm existing as both replacements and cements. Sr concentrations range between 84 and 156 ppm, and the molar Sr/Ca ratios of dolomitizing fluids are estimated to range between 0.0066 to 0.013 ratios. Dolomites are Ca-rich （with average CaCO3 and mgCO3 equal to 56.43 and 43.57 mol%, respectively） and they are non-stoichiometric, with an average Sr=ll6 ppm, Na=286 ppm, mn=81 ppm, Fe=1329 ppm, and ~lSO and ~lac ranges from -0.6%o to -6.1% Pee Dee Belemnite [PDB], and ＋1.2 to ＋3.9%0 PDB. The North American Shale Composition [NASC]- normalized rare earth element （REE） values of the both limestone and dolomite sample groups show very similar REE patterns characterized by small positive Eu （mean=l.32 and mean=l.42, respectively） and slightly or considerably negative Ce （mean=0.61 and mean=0.72, respectively） anomalies and a clear depletion in all REE species. The Klzlloren Formation dolomites have been formed as early diagenetic from mixing zone fluids at the tidal-subtidal environment and at the late diagenetic from basinal brines at the shallow-deep burial depths.

The sequence space bvp consisting of all sequences （xk） such that （xk -xk-1） belongs to the space gp has recently been introduced by Basar and Altay [Ukrainian math. J., 55（1）, 136-147（2003）]; where 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞. In the present paper, some results concerning with the continuous dual and f-dual, and the AD-property of the sequence space bvp have been given and the norm of the difference operator A acting on the sequence space bvp has been found. The fine spectrum with respect to the Goldberg＇s classification of the difference operator △ over the sequence space bvp has been determined, where 1≤p〈∞.

In this study,a mathematical model is formulated to examine the blood flow through a cylindrical stenosed blood *** stenosis disease is caused because of the abnormal narrowing of flow in the *** narrowing causes serious health issues like heart attack and may decrease blood flow in the blood *** modeling helps us analyze such issues.A mathematical model is considered in this study to explore the blood flow in a stenosis artery and is solved numerically with the finite difference *** artery is an elastic cylindrical tube containing blood defined as a viscoelastic fluid.A complete parametric analysis has been done for the flow velocity to clarify the applicability of the defined ***,the flow characteristics such as the impedance,the wall shear stress in the stenotic region,the shear stresses in the throat of the stenosis and at the critical stenosis height are *** obtained results show that the intensity of the stenosis occurs mostly at the highest narrowing areas compared with all other areas of the vessel,which has a direct impact on the wall shear *** is also observed that the resistive impedance and wall shear pressure get the maximum values at the critical height of the stenosis.

A series of undoped and lanthanide doped mIL-53(Fe)/Ln-Fe_(3)O_(4)(Ln=La,Nd,or Gd) metal-organic frameworks(mOFs) were prepared by the solvothermal *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) measurements,scanning electron microscopy(SEm),and thermal *** and FT-IR results ascertain the successful mOF formation for all prepared ***-53(Fe)/La-Fe_(3)O_(4) has the smallest particle size of 8.6 nm,the largest BET surface area of 54.2 m^(2)/g,and the highest *** and different lanthanide doped mIL-53(Fe) we re employed as sorbents for the removal of methylene blue(mB)dye from aqueous solutions to examine the doping benefit and the effect of the dopant size on the sorption *** causes mOFs to act as pH-independent sorbents,which make it applicable at any *** follows pseudo-second-order kinetic model,and doped sorbents attain equilibrium *** isotherms are followed,except for mIL-53(Fe)/La-Fe_(3)O_(4).The adsorption capacity increases with increasing the dopant ion size,100.5 mg/g for La-doped mOF,which is about four times higher than that of undoped *** adsorption mechanism involves chemical interactions between Lewis acid in magnetite mIL-53(Fe) series and Lewis base in mB.

The electronic properties（Fermi surface,band structure,and density of states（DOS）） of Al-based alloys Alm3（m=Zr and Cu） and AlCu2Zr are investigated using the first-principles pseudopotential plane wave method within the generalized gradient approximation（GGA）.The structural parameters and elastic constants are evaluated and compared with other available ***,the pressure dependences of mechanical properties of the compounds are *** temperature dependence of adiabatic bulk modulus,Debye temperature,specific heat,thermal expansion coefficient,entropy,and internal energy are all obtained for the first time through quasi-harmonic Debye model with phononic effects for T = 0 K-100 *** parameters of optical properties（dielectric functions,refractive index,extinction coefficient,absorption spectrum,conductivity,energy-loss spectrum,and reflectivity） of the compounds are calculated and discussed for the first *** reflectivities of the materials are quite high in the IR-visible-UV region up to ~ 15 eV,showing that they promise to be good coating materials to avoid solar *** of the properties are also compared with those of the Al-based Ni3 Al compound.

The structural and magnetic properties of essentially phase pure AlFe2B2prepared by arc melting were compared with a sample containing impurities. Analysis was carried out by means of synchrotron X-ray diffraction, magnetic measurements and m?ssbauer spectroscopy. The analysis of synchrotron X-ray diffraction data confirmed the orthorhombic structure of space group Cmmm for AlFe2B2with Al13Fe4as main impurity phase. The magnetic measurements revealed an unsaturated ferromagnetic state in AlFe2B2with a transition temperature（Tc） of 286 K. Isothermal magnetization measurment at 5 K gave a saturation magnetization of 0.7 μB per Fe atom while Arrott plots establish the second order nature of ferromagnetic transition. The thermal evolution of m?ssbauer spectra confirmed the ferromagnetic nature of this material revealing an hyperfine field of 73 kOe and an isomer shift of 0.46 mm/s at 100 K. The m?ssbauer spectra of a phase pure sample was compared with the one containing impurity phases. It is suggested that the low temperature paramagnetic contribution in m?ssbauer spectra of phase pure material may have its origin in some intrinsic phenomena arising from defects or inhomogeneities in crystal structure.

Traumatic brain injury(TBI)remains a major cause of disability among young adults in both civilian and military settings contributing to a high burden on healthcare systems(Badhiwala et al.,2019).Sequel of TBI,even mild injuries,include motor and sensory dysfunction,neurocognitive decline,neuropsychiatric complications,as well as increased risk of neurodegenerative and neurovascular events such as Alzheimer’s disease and stroke(Breunig et al.,2013;Burke et al.,2013;Li et al.,2017).Despite the acute nature of the insult in TBI,pathological changes in the traumatized brain are better recognized as a chronic rather than an acute neurological disease,a phenomenon that remains under-investigated.

The current work experimentally explores and then theoretically examines the lateral vibrations of an unbalanced Jeffcott rotor-system working at several unbalance *** this end,three conditions of eccentric masses are considered by using a Bently Nevada RK-4 rotor *** of the steady-state as well as the startup data at rigid and flexible rotor states are captured by conducting a setup that mimics the vibration monitoring industrial *** linear governing equation of the considered rotor is extracted by adopting the Lagrange method on the basis of rigid rotor assumptions to theoretically predict the lateral *** dynamic features of the rotor system such as the linearized bearing induced stiffness are exclusively acquired from startup *** is demonstrated that,with an error of less than 5%,the proposed two-degrees-of-freedom model can predict the flexural vibrations at rigid *** at flexible condition,it fails to accurately predict the dynamic *** contrast to the other works where nonlinear mathematical models with some complexities are proposed to mathematically model the real systems,the present study illustrates the applicability of employing simple models to predict the dynamic response of a real rotor-system with an acceptable accuracy.
