The Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama （Hemiptera： Liviidae）, is an important insect pest of citrus. It is the vector of ＇Candidatus＇ Liberibacter asiaticus, a phloem-limited bacterium that infects citrus, resulting in the disease Huanglongbing （HLB）. Disease management relies heavily on suppression of D. cirri populations with insecticides, including pyrethroids. In recent annual surveys to monitor insecticide resistance, reduced susceptibility to fenpropathrin was identified in several field populations olD. citri. The primary target ofpyrethroids is the voltage-gated sodium channel （VGSC）. The VGSC is prone to target-site insensitivity because of mutations that either reduce pyrethroid binding and/or alter gating kinetics. These mutations, known as knockdown resistance or kdr, have been reported in a wide diversity of arthropod species. Alternative splicing, in combination with kdr mutations, has been also associated with reduced pyrethroid efficacy. Here we report the molecular characterization of the VGSC in D. citri along with a survey of alternative splicing across developmental stages of this species. Previous studies demonstrated that D. citri has an exquisite enzymatic arsenal to detoxify insecticides resulting in reduced efficacy. The results from the current investigation demonstrate that target-site insensitivity is also a potential basis for insecticide resistance to pyrethroids in D. citri. The VGSC sequence and its molecular characterization should facilitate early elucidation of the underlying cause of an established case of resistance to pyrethroids. This is the first characterization of a VGSC from a hemipteran to this level of detail, with the majority of the previous studies on dipterans and lepidopterans.

The Internet of thing(IoT)is a growing concept for smart cities,and it is compulsory to communicate data between different networks and *** the IoT,communication should be rapid with less delay and *** this purpose,flooding is used for reliable data communication in a smart cities concept but at the cost of higher overhead,energy consumption and packet drop *** paper aims to increase the efficiency in term of overhead and reliability in term of delay by using multicasting and unicasting instead of flooding during packet forwarding in a smart city using the IoT *** this paper,multicasting and unicasting is used for IoT in smart cities within a receiver-initiated mesh-based topology to disseminate the data to the cluster *** cities networks are divided into cluster head,and each cluster head or core node will be responsible for transferring data to the desired *** protocol is a novel approach according to the best of our knowledge,and it proves to be very useful due to its efficiency and reliability in smart cities concept because IoT is a collection of devices and having a similar interest for transmission of *** results are implemented in Network simulator 2(NS-2).The result shows that the proposed protocol shows performance in overhead,throughput,packet drop,delay and energy consumption as compared to benchmark schemes.

The positive parity states in even-even 152-166 Dy are studied systematically in the framework of the interacting boson model(IBM). A cubic term, L = 3, has been added to the Hamiltonian in order to produce the effect of triaxiality on the energy spectrum. The potential energy surfaces as a function of β and γ deformation parameters,for all isotopes have been produced. Energy levels and reduced electric quadrupole transition probabilities are calculated in framework of IBM with Cubic term(IBMC). All results are compared with available experimental data. It is found that these isotopes can be described by a schematic Hamiltonian in transition from U(5)(vibration) to SU(3)(rotation)dynamic symmetry.

Bilateral anterior dislocations of the shoulder are rare lesions. They are even rarer when combined with a bilateral fracture of major tubercles. We report the case of a 28-year-old patient admitted to trauma emergencies after trauma by falling from the top of a stool. Clinical and radiographic findings revealed bilateral anterior shoulder dislocation associated with bilateral fracture of major tubercles. The patient was treated orthopedically by a reduction of dislocations under General Anesthesia, immobilization of the shoulders for 6 weeks followed by reeducation. The functional result after 12 months was satisfactory with a UCLA score of 30 points.

Using a barotropic, steady and linearised vorticity equation and using 250 hPa observed basic flow and global divergence fifeld ffrom the active summer monsoon phase (00 GMT 26 June-12 GMT 29 June) 1979, the dynamical effects of linear absolute vorticity advection, vorticity generation due to divergence and vorticity dissipation due to frictional damping have been tested to understand their influence on Southern Asiatic High (SAH). The key experimental results art: (1) The SAH, one of the maior planetary-scale disturbances, is generated from the upper basic flow by the forcing of the upper tropospheric divergence over southeast Asia during the active summer monsoon phase, (2) Linear absolute vorticity advection and frictional damping of vorticity play an important role in the determination of the location of the SAH. (3) The destruction and recovery of planetary-scale geostrophic balance is an important mechanism for the west-east oscillation of the SAH.

Background: Blunt thoracic and abdominal traumas are frequent and have a poor prognosis in the absence of prompt diagnosis and adequate management. An ultrasound performed in the emergency room allows a precise diagnosis and a better orientation of the victims. Objective: To assess the contribution of EFAST ultrasound in the management of blunt thoracic and abdominal traumas. Patients and method: Cross-sectional descriptive and analytical study with prospective data collection carried out from February 20th to August 20th, 2017 in the emergency and intensive care units of the Parakou University Hospital Centre. An ultrasound machine fitted with a 3.5 MHz convex probe was used to search for post-traumatic effusion by the EFAST technique on admission and then as needed over 24 hours and after surgery. Results: Sixty-three patients were collected with an 85.71% male predominance. The average age was 31.36 ± 13.29 years. The time to perform the EFAST ultrasound was 7 ± 3 min. EFAST was positive in 50.79% of patients. Five patients (7.93%) received emergency treatment for hemodynamic instability and positive EFAST within an average of 3.46 ± 2 hours. Eighteen patients (27.58%) received after monitoring by EFAST, surgery within 9 hours 12 minutes (hemoperitoneum) and 27 hours 58 minutes (hemothorax). Two patients were tested positively for EFAST after surgery. Conclusion: The introduction of an EFAST ultrasound as a sorting tool in an environment with limited resources is desirable and feasible.
