Regression analysis of squeezing-induced hybrid nanofluid flow in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in MATHEMATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

Initial Error Growth and Predictability of Chaotic Low-dimensional Atmospheric Model

The growth of small errors in weather prediction is exponential on average. As an error becomes larger, its growth slows down and then stops with the magnitude of the error saturating at about the average distance between two states chosen *** paper studies the error growth in a low-dimensional atmospheric model before, during and after the initial exponential divergence occurs. We test cubic, quartic and logarithmic hypotheses by ensemble prediction method. Furthermore, the quadratic hypothesis suggested by Lorenz in 1969 is compared with the ensemble prediction method. The study shows that a small error growth is best modeled by the quadratic hypothesis. After the error exceeds about a half of the average value of variables, logarithmic approximation becomes superior. It is also shown that the time length of the exponential growth in the model data is a function of the size of small initial error and the largest Lyapunov exponent. We conclude that the size of the error at the least upper bound(supremum) of time length is equal to 1 and it is invariant to these variables. Predictability, as a time interval, where the model error is growing, is for small initial error, the sum of the least upper bound of time interval of exponential growth and predictability for the size of initial error equal to 1.

BACkGROUND With improved survival in gastric cancer patients,health-related quality of life has become an important clinical endpoint alongside primary oncological *** To investigate health-related quality of life after various surgical procedures for gastric cancer *** The validated Slovenian version of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Core Questionnaire(QLQ-C30)and its gastric cancer-specific module(QLQ STO-22)was sent for self-completion to patients that underwent curative resection for gastric adenocarcinoma between January 2014 and December 2018 at our *** total,116 patients *** were compared between patients after subtotal distal vs total gastrectomy and patients after subtotal distal gastrectomy with Billroth II vs Roux-en-Y *** Interestingly,the extent of resection did not influence daily functioning;however,more dysphagia and eating restrictions were reported in patients after total gastrectomy when compared to patients after subtotal distal ***,patients with Billroth II reconstruction after subtotal distal resection experienced worse physical and role functioning and reported more pain,fatigue and reflux compared to Roux-en-Y *** Based on our results,Roux-en-Y reconstruction after subtotal distal gastrectomy should be preferred over Billroth II *** data obtained from this study will help surgeons when preoperatively informing their patients about expected functional outcomes after gastrectomy and enable them to ensure proper supportive care of their patients in the postoperative period.

Impact of radiation pressure and circumstellar dust on motion of a test particle in Manev’s field

In this paper,we present a study on the impact of radiation pressure and circumstellar dust on the motion of a test particle in the framework of the restricted four-body problem under the Manev’s *** show that the distribution of equilibrium points on the plane of motion is slightly different from that of the classical Newtonian *** the aid of the Lyapunov characteristic exponents,we show that the system is sensitive to changes in initial conditions;hence,the orbit of the system is found to be chaotic in the phase space for the given initial ***,a numerical application of this model to a stellar system(Gliese 667C)is considered,which validates the dependence of the equilibrium points on the mass *** show that the non-collinear equilibrium points of this stellar system are distributed symmetrically about the x-axis,and five of them are linearly *** basins of attraction of the system show that the equilibrium points have irregular boundaries,and we use the energy integral and the Manev parameter to illustrate the zero-velocity curves showing the permissible region of motion of the test particle with respect to the Jacobi constant.

A Comparative Study on the Role of Cytokinins in Caryopsis Development in the Maize miniature1 Seed Mutant and Its Wild Type

We report here on a comparative developmental profile of plant hormone cytokinins in relation to cell size, cell number and endoreduplicaUon in developing maize caryopsis of a cell wall invertase-deficient miniature1 （mn1） seed mutant and its wild type, Mn1, genotype. Both genotypes showed extremely high levels of total cytokinins during the very early stages of development, followed by a marked and genotype specific reduction. While the decrease of cytokinins in Mn1 was associated with their deactivation by 9-glucosylation, the absolute and the relative part of active cytokinin forms was higher in the mutant. During the exponential growth phase of endosperm between 6 d after pollination and 9 d after pollination, the mean cell doubling time, the absolute growth rate and the level of endoreduplication were similar in the two genotypes. However, the entire duration of growth was longer in Mnl compared with mnl, resulting in a significantly higher cell number in the Mnl endosperm. These data correlate with the previously reported peak levels of the Mn1-encoded cell wall invertase-2 （INCW2） at 12 d after pollination in the Mn1 endosperm. A model showing possible crosstalk among cytokinins, cell cycle and cell wall invertase as causal to increased cell number and sink strength of the Mn1 developing endosperm is discussed.
