Zoothamnium is a speciose genus,most species of which have incomplete morphological data based on modern *** the present study,the morphology of three species of Zoothamnium,i.e.,*** ***.,*** ***.,and ***,collected in Qingdao,China,was revealed using living observation and silver *** addition,the SSU rDNA of each species was sequeneed for phylogenetic *** apoarbuscula *** characterized by its umbellate colony which is up to 900 pm high,dichotomously branched stalk,differentiation of zooids,and infundibular polykinety 3 comprising three equal-length ciliary *** apohentscheli *** is characterized by its large colony up to 1700 pm high,alternately branched stalk,and infundibular polykinety 3 comprising three equal-length ciliary rows.A population of *** is described in *** analyses based on SSU rDNA sequence data revealed that species with an alternately branched stalk cluster together in gene trees and probably represent an independent lineage within the genus Zoothamnium.

Background and Aims:Liver organ shortage remains a major health burden in the US,with more patients being waitlisted than the number of liver transplants(LTs)*** study investigated US national and regional trends in living donor LT(LDLT)and identified factors associated with recipient ***:We retrospectively analyzed LDLT recipients and donors from the United Network Organ Sharing/Organ Procurement Transplant Network database from 1998 until 2019 for clinical characteristics,demographic differences,and survival *** and regional trends in LDLT,recipient outcomes,and predictors of survival were ***:Of the 223,571 candidates listed for an LT,57.5%received an organ,of which only 4.2%were *** adult LDLTs first peaked at 412 in 2001 but experienced a significant decline to 168 by *** then gradually increased to 445 in *** 2 had the highest LDLT numbers(n=919),while region 1 had the highest proportion(11.1%).Overall,post-LT mortality was 21.4%among LDLT ***-LDLT survival rates after 1-,5-,and 10-years were 92%,87%,and 70%,*** analysis(2004–2019)showed that patients undergoing LDLT in recent years had lower mortality than in earlier years(hazard ratio=0.81,95%confidence interval=0.75–0.88).Conclusions:Following a substantial decline after a peak in 2001,the number of adult LDLTs steadily increased from 2011 to ***,LDLTs still constitute the minority of the transplant pool in the *** policies to increase the use of LDLTs,particularly in regions of high organ demand,should be implemented.

Diesel engine exhaust(Dee) and crystalline silica exposures occur simultaneously in the mining industry,and occupational sampling campaigns can be time-and cost-consuming. The authors evaluated a dualport system for simultaneous sampling of Dee and crystalline silica in laboratory and field *** tests evaluated the operation of pumps during 8 h sampling and the intensity of the flow variation for various filter loading conditions and for different modes of operation. Field validation was performed in an underground mine. Pumps operated in constant flow or constant pressure *** in constant flow mode showed that when the flowrate increased on one side of the system, it decreased on the opposite side according to the loading intensity. Tests in constant pressure mode showed that flowrates systematically decreased when using loaded cassettes. However, the higher the backpressure setting, the lower the flow variation was. Flow variations during field tests were generally within the acceptable ±5% range. However, significant flow variations were identified in higher concentrations. A significant negative correlation was found between flowrate variation and total carbon concentration. While the majority of tests support the use of the dual-port for evaluating concomitant exposures, results highlight the possibility of filter overloading as a cause of flowrate changes.

Nutrient deficiencies are common in patients with inflammatory bowel disease （IBD）. Both total parenteral and enteral nutrition provide important supportive therapy for IBD patients, but in adults these are not useful for primary therapy. Dietary intervention with omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids contained in fish oil may be useful for the care of IBD patients, and recent studies have slyessed the role of PPAR on NFKB activity on the potential beneficial effect of dietary lipids on intestinal function.

用HPLC方法研究奎尼丁试管内对人和Wistar大鼠肝微粒体安替比林(AP)的3甲基-羟化酶、4-羟化酶和2-脱甲基酶活性的影响。当奎尼丁浓度≥0.02mmol/L,≥0.10mmol/L和≥0.50mmol/L时,可分别显著抑制人肝微粒体AP4-羟化酶、3甲基-羟化酶和2-脱甲基酶的活性;对大鼠肝微粒体,奎尼丁≥0.02mmol/L时,能显著抑制AP的3甲基-羟化酶和4-羟化酶活性,而≥0.10mmol/L时也可抑制2-脱甲基酶活性。奎尼丁对AP的3甲基-羟化酶、4-羟化酶和2-脱甲基酶活性的IC_(50)在人肝微粒体分别为:0.550,0.107和0.450mmol/L;而在大鼠的肝微粒体则分别为:0.340,0.080和0.500mmol/L。

We present temperature and power dependent photoluminescence measurements on CdSe nanowires synthesized via vapor-phase with and without the use of a metal catalyst. Nanowires produced without a catalyst can be optimized to yield higher quantum efficiency, and narrower and spatially uniform emission, when compared to the catalyst-assisted ones. emission at energies lower than the band-edge is also found in both cases. By combining spatially-resolved photoluminescence and electron microscopy on the same nanowires, we show that catalyst-free nanowires exhibit a low-energy peak with sharp phonon replica, whereas for catalyst-assisted nanowires low-energy emission is linked to the presence of nanostructures with extended morphological defects.
