This pa.er investiga.es the funda.enta. sensing mecha.ism of electrosta.ic MEMS ga. *** compa.es a.ong the responsivities of a.set of MEMS isopropa.ol sensors before a.d a.ter functiona.iza.ion,a.d in the presence a.d a.sence of electrosta.ic fields when opera.ed in sta.ic a.d dyna.ic detection *** the sta.ic mode,we found tha. the sensors do not exhibit a.mea.ura.le cha.ge in displa.ement due to a.ded *** the other ha.d,ba.e sensors showed a.clea. cha.ge in displa.ement in response to isopropa.ol *** the dyna.ic mode,functiona.ized sensors showed a.mea.ura.le frequency shift due to the a.ded ma.s of isopropa.ol *** the presence of strong electrosta.ic fields,the mea.ured frequency shift wa. found to be threefold la.ger tha. tha. in their a.sence in response to the sa.e concentra.ion of isopropa.ol *** enha.ced responsivity of dyna.ic detection a.lows the sensors to mea.ure the va.or ma.s ca.tured by the functiona. ma.eria.,which is not the ca.e for sta.ic *** detection of isopropa.ol by ba.e sensors in sta.ic mode shows tha. cha.ge in the medium permittivity is the prima.y sensing *** enha.ced responsivity of dyna.ic mode sensors when opera.ed in strong electrosta.ic fields shows tha. their sensing mecha.ism is a.combina.ion of a.wea.er a.ded ma.s effect a.d a.stronger permittivity *** findings show tha. electrosta.ic MEMS ga. sensors a.e independent of the direction of the gra.ita.iona. field a.d a.e,thus,robust to cha.ges in *** is erroneous to refer to them a.‘gra.imetric’sensors.

The prima.y objective of this resea.ch wa. to a.sess the potentia. of ma.netic blea.hed biocha.(MBBC)a. a.cost-effective a.sorbent for a.senic *** a.hieve this,loca.ly collected tea.wa.tes underwent meticulous clea.ing,blea.hing,a.d modifica.ions via.therma. a.d chemica. *** non-ma.netic a.d ma.netic biocha. a.sorbents were thoroughly cha.a.terized using Fourier tra.sform-infra.ed spectroscopy(FT-IR)a.d thermo-gra.imetric a.a.ysis(TGa..Subsequently,the a.sorptive performa.ce of MBBC in removing a.senic from wa.tewa.er sa.ples wa. investiga.ed,considering va.ious crucia. pa.a.eters such a. a.sorbent-a.sorba.e conta.t time,concentra.ion of a.,tempera.ure,a.sorbent dosa.e,a.d the regenera.ion-a.ility of the *** experimenta. da.a.for the a.sorption process were best represented by the La.gmuir isotherm,indica.ing its suita.ility for the MBBC ***,the MBBC demonstra.ed a.ma.imum La.gmuir a.sorption ca.a.ity of a.proxima.ely 714 mg/g a. room tempera.ure,highlighting its efficiency a. a. a.senic ***,the La.ergren's Pseudo-second order kinetic model proved to be the most suita.le for describing the a.sorption kinetics,confirming the chemisorption na.ure of the *** results a.so indica.ed tha. the a.sorption process is endothermic a.d fea.ible,suggesting its via.ility for pra.tica. *** a.l findings into a.count,the comprehensive a.a.ysis strongly supports the potentia. use of MBBC a. a.highly promising a.d cost-effective a.sorbent for efficiently removing a.senic from a.ueous *** resea.ch contributes va.ua.le insights to the field of wa.tewa.er trea.ment a.d offers a.susta.na.le a.d environmenta.ly friendly solution for ta.kling a.senic conta.ina.ion in wa.er sources.

RSW joints fa.led with minima. or no loa. a.plica.ion).The fa.lure mode of the joints cha.ged with increa.ing welding current from interfa.ia. fa.lure via.the Mg nugget/upper a.S interfa.e to pa.tia. interfa.ia. fa.lure(pa.t of the Mg nugget wa. pulled out of the Mg sheet).Both fa.lure modes were a.compa.ied by cohesive fa.lure in the a.hesive zone.
