Anisotropic alignments of hierarchical Li2SiO3/TiO2@nano-C anode//LiMnPO4@nano-C cathode architectures for full-cell lithium-ion battery

We report on low-cost fabrication and high-energy density of full-cell lithium-ion battery (LiB) ***-hierarchical electrode architectures of Li2SiO3/TiO2@nano-carbon anode (***@nano-C) and high-voltage olivine LiMnPO4@nano-carbon cathode (LMPO@nano-C) are designed for half-and full-system LiB-CR2032 coin cell *** the basis of primary architecture-power-driven LiB geometrics,the structure keys including three-dimensional (3D) modeling superhierarchy,multiscale micro/nano architectures and anisotropic surface heterogeneity affect the buildup design of anode/cathode LiB *** hierarchical electrode surface topologies enable continuous in-/out-flow rates and fast transport pathways of Li+-ions during charge/discharge *** stacked layer configurations of pouch LiB-types lead to excellent charge/discharge rate,and energy density of237.6 Wh *** the most promising LiB-configurations,the high specific energy density of hierarchical pouch battery systems may improve energy storage for long-driving range of electric ***,the anisotropic alignments of hierarchical electrode architectures in the large-scale LiBs provide proof of excellent capacity storage and outstanding durability and *** full-system LiB-CR2032 coin cell models maintain high specific capacity of～89.8%within a long-term life period of2000 cycles,and average Coulombic efficiency of99.8%at 1C rate for future configuration of LiB manufacturing and commercialization challenges.

Tuberculosis(TB)remains a leading cause of death among infectious diseases,particularly in poor *** infections,multidrug-resistant and ex-tensively drug-resistant TB strains,as well as the coexistence of chronic illnesses such as diabetes mellitus(DM)greatly aggravate TB morbidity and ***[particularly type 2 DM(T2DM)]and TB have converged making their control even more *** contemporary global epidemics,TB-DM behaves like a syndemic,a synergistic confluence of two highly prevalent diseases.T2DM is a risk factor for developing more severe forms of multi-drug resistant-TB and TB recurrence after preventive *** a bidirectional relationship exists between TB and DM,it is necessary to concurrently treat both,and promote recommendations for the joint management of both *** are also some drug-drug interactions resulting in adverse treatment outcomes in TB-DM patients including treatment failure,and *** addition,autophagy may play a role in these ***,the TB-DM comorbidities present several health challenges,requiring a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and integrated strategies,to effectively deal with this double *** effectively manage the comorbidity,further screening in affected countries,more suitable drugs,and better treatment strategies are required.

in this editorial,we comment on the hard and soft tissue applications of different ceramic-based scaffolds prepared by different mechanisms such as 3D printing,sol-gel,and *** new concept of regenerative medicine relies on biomaterials that can trigger in situ tissue regeneration and stem cell recruitment at the defect site.A large percentage of these biomaterials is ceramic-based as they provide the essential requirements of biomaterial principles such as tailored multisize porosity,antibacterial properties,and angiogenic *** these previously mentioned properties put bioceramics on top of the hierarchy of biomaterials utilized to stimulate tissue regeneration in soft and hard tissue *** clinical applications registered the use of these materials in triggering soft tissue regeneration in healthy and diabetic patients such as bioactive glass *** results were promising and opened new frontiers for utilizing these materials on a larger *** same results were mentioned when using different forms and formulas of bioceramics in hard defect *** bioceramics were used in combination with other polymers and biological scaffolds to improve their regenerative and mechanical *** this progress will enable a larger scale of patients to receive such services with ease and decrease the financial burden on the government.

AiM:To determine whether the levator palpebrae superioris(LPS)/superior rectus(SR)muscle complex,can influence the position of the upper lid and fornix in acquired anophthalmic ***:This comparative non-randomized and non-interventional study included retrospective data of 21 patients with unilateral acquired anophthalmic sockets repaired with spheric ***-resolution computed tomography(CT)measurements of the LPM/SR muscle complex and clinical topographic position of the upper lid,superior and inferior fornix depth in primary gaze position were *** data were presented as frequency and percentage proportions and quantitative variables comparing the socket measurements with the normal contralateral orbit was statistically analyzed using non-parametric tests considering Pic orbits had a significantly shorter LPS length(P=0.01)and significantly thicker SR(P=0.02)than the normal *** was present in anophthalmic sockets but not in normal orbits(P=0.002),while levator function was normal in both(P>0.05,all comparisons).The superior fornix depth was similar in the anophthalmic socket and the contralateral normal orbit(P=0.192)as well the inferior fornix depth(P=0.351).CONCLUSiON:Acquired anophthalmic sockets repaired with spheric implants have shorter LPS,thicker SR,and more lagophthalmos than normal *** relationship of the LPS and SR with other orbital structures,associated with passive or active forces acting in the final position of the lids and external ocular prosthesis should be further investigated.

Autophagy is a prosurvival mechanism for the clearance of accumulated abnormal proteins,damaged organelles,and excessive lipids within mammalian cells.A growing body of data indicates that autophagy is reduced in aging *** reduction leads to various diseases,such as myocardial hypertrophy,infarction,and *** studies in animal models of an aging heart showed that fasting-induced autophagy improved cardiac function and *** improvement is related to autophagic clearance of damaged cellular components via either bulk or selective autophagy(such as mitophagy).in this editorial,we summarize the mechanisms of autophagy in normal and aging *** addition,the protective effect of fasting-induced autophagy in cardiac aging has been highlighted.

BACKGROUND As a consequence of the economic crisis,the sociopolitical instability and the advent of the coronavirus disease-19 pandemic,nested challenges faced the Lebanese healthcare *** have resulted in critical shortages of essential resources,including medications vital for oncologic *** To assess the ramifications of the ongoing economic crisis on oncology patient care focusing on our outpatient oncology *** A questionnaire was distributed during the month of February 2022 to oncology patients in Hôtel Dieu de France University Hospital in Beirut during their outpatient *** primary objective was to assess the far-reaching impact of the economic crisis on patient care and the resulting psychological *** Among 182 interviewed patients,31.87%experienced treatment interruption mainly due to acute drug *** 87.91%of the patients benefiting from third-party coverage,69.60%had to self-pay for their medications leading to 69.78%of patients perceiving that healthcare was more difficult to access after ***,one-third of the patients exhibited symptoms of anxiety and/or depression,with 7 patients reporting suicidal ***,37.93%of patients who interrupted cancer treatment reported a history of comorbidities,and 89.66%who altered their treatment cited financial *** Lebanese cancer patients face complex challenges spanning economic,healthcare,and psychological *** inequalities exacerbated by the economic crisis hindered healthcare access.

This article delves into the intricate relationship between big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, shedding light on their fundamental attributes and interdependence. it explores the seamless amalgamation of Ai methodologies within cloud computing and big data analytics, encompassing the development of a cloud computing framework built on the robust foundation of the Hadoop platform, enriched by Ai learning algorithms. Additionally, it examines the creation of a predictive model empowered by tailored artificial intelligence techniques. Rigorous simulations are conducted to extract valuable insights, facilitating method evaluation and performance assessment, all within the dynamic Hadoop environment, thereby reaffirming the precision of the proposed approach. The results and analysis section reveals compelling findings derived from comprehensive simulations within the Hadoop environment. These outcomes demonstrate the efficacy of the Sport Ai Model (SAiM) framework in enhancing the accuracy of sports-related outcome predictions. Through meticulous mathematical analyses and performance assessments, integrating Ai with big data emerges as a powerful tool for optimizing decision-making in sports. The discussion section extends the implications of these results, highlighting the potential for SAiM to revolutionize sports forecasting, strategic planning, and performance optimization for players and coaches. The combination of big data, cloud computing, and Ai offers a promising avenue for future advancements in sports analytics. This research underscores the synergy between these technologies and paves the way for innovative approaches to sports-related decision-making and performance enhancement.
