Quantum phase transition of the Jaynes-Cummings model

Herein,we propose an experimentally feasible scheme to show the quantum phase transition of the Jaynes-Cummings(JC)model by modulating the transition frequency of a two-level system in a quantum Rabi model with strong *** tuning the modulation frequency and amplitude,the ratio of the effective coupling strength of the rotating terms to the effective cavity(atomic transition)frequency can enter the deep-strong coupling regime,while the counter-rotating terms can be ***,a deep-strong JC model is *** ratio of the coupling strength to resonance frequencies in the deep-strong JC model is two orders of magnitude larger than the corresponding ratio in the original quantum Rabi *** scheme can be employed in atom-cavity resonance and off-resonance cases,and it is valid over a broad *** nonzero average cavity photons of the ground state indicate the emergence of a quantum phase ***,we demonstrate the dependence of the phase diagram on the atom-cavity detuning and modulation *** the parameters used in our scheme are within the reach of current experimental *** scheme provides a new mechanism for investigating the critical phenomena of finite-sized systems without requiring classical field limits,thereby opening a door for studying fundamental quantum phenomena occurring in the ultrastrong and even deep-strong coupling regimes.

The grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP) of Dy and Dyal on sintered NdFeB magnets was conducted via magnetron-sputtering deposition of Dy and Dyal films to enhance coercivity(H_(cj)),The magnetic properties,microstructure and anti-corrosion properties of Dy-surface-alloying NdFeB magnets obtained via magnetron sputtering and thermal diffusion were *** H_(cj) of the Dy_(95)al_(5)-NdFeB magnet increases by 32.68%,while the remanence declines ***,X-ray diffraction and microstructural analysis confirm the formation of Dy-rich shells,the higher-magnetic-anisotropy field of hard(Nd_(x)Dy_(1-x))2(Feal)_(14)B magnetic phases and an optimised grain boundary structu re,contributing to the H_(cj)enhancement of the *** elemental distribution and diffusion mechanism of the magnets are also ***,the corrosion resistance of the Dy_(95)al_(5)-NdFeB magnet is substantially improved by enhancing the electrochemical stability and optimising the distribution and morphology of the intergranular *** findings of this study are of substantial importance in the development of low-heavy rare-earth sintered NdFeB magnets.

The localised leakage in shield tunnels that mainly occurs at segment joints may induce other defects,which threatens operational *** obtain a universal solution for the sealant performance of gasketed joints,we proposed a novel analytical model based on the multiscale contact and percolation theories,in which the obtained percolation pressure and interfacial separation can be utilized to derive the critical water leakage pressure and leakage *** evolutionary process of leakage was divided into three stages(i.e.,the percolation,leakage and breakdown),which explicitly reveal the progressive hydraulic deterioration of gasketed *** gaskets still own partial waterproof capacity until the end of the leakage stage due to the remaining contact pressure at surface *** proposed model was first verified by several sets of experimental data,based on which the determination of three key model parameters(i.e.,self-sealing slope,sealing coefficient,and expel pressure)were discussed in *** parametric study indicates that the waterproof capacity is significantly affected by the joint opening,offset,and the surface roughness of the *** variation in waterproof capacity with joint opening is mainly due to the nonlinearity of the gasket’s modulus and self-sealing *** increase in joint offset can result in a lower waterproof capacity as well as a larger leakage ***’s surface roughness affects the percolation pressure and interfacial separation,which contributes to the long-term sealant performance.

Cement-based materials are fundamental in the construction industry,and enhancing their properties is an ongoing *** use of superabsorbent polymers(SAP)has gained significant attention as a possible way to improve the performance of cement-based materials due to their unique water-absorption and retention *** study investigates the multifaceted impact of kaolin intercalation-modified superabsorbent polymers(K-SAP)on the properties of cement *** results show that K-SAP significantly affects the cement mortar’s rheological behavior,with distinct phases of water absorption and release,leading to changes in workability over ***,K-SAP alters the hydration kinetics,delaying the exothermic peak of hydration and subsequently modifying the heat release ***,K-SAP effectively maintains a higher internal relative humidity within the mortar,reducing the autogenous shrinkage ***,K-SAP can have a beneficial effect on pore structure and this can be ascribed to the internal curing effect of released water from K-SAP.

Sodium percarbonate(Na_(2)CO_(3)·1.5H_(2)O_(2),SPC)has been extensively employed as a solid substitute of H_(2)O_(2)for Fenton process in water treatment,because of its high stability during the production,transport,storage and *** addition,SPC can be applied in a wider range of work pH,it is also applied as a buffer in Fenton reaction for preventing a drop in ***,we have synthesized basic copper molybdate(BCM)nanoblocks with the molecular formula of Cu_(3)(MoO_(4))_(2)(OH)_(2)as an efficient and heterogeneous catalyst for antibiotics degradation via percarbonate ***,fully physical characterizations confirmed BCM nanocomposite exhibited a structure of *** also found that BCM/SPC system could work in a much wider pH range,compared with H_(2)O_(2).Then,BCM/SPC system presented a good anti-interference ability for natural organic matter in OTC *** results and Quenching tests confirmed that the co-presence of·CO_(3)-,·O_(2)-,1O_(2)and·OH in BCM/SPC system.

Performing diverse motor skills with a universal controller has been a longstanding challenge for legged *** motion imitation-based reinforcement learning(RL)has shown remarkable performance in reproducing designed motor skills,the trained controller is only suitable for one specific type of *** synthesis has been well developed to generate a variety of different motions for character animation,but those motions only contain kinematic information and cannot be used for *** this study,we introduce a control pipeline combining motion synthesis and motion imitation-based RL for generic motor *** design an animation state machine to synthesize motion from various sources and feed the generated kinematic reference trajectory to the RL controller as part of the *** the proposed method,we show that a single policy is able to learn various motor skills ***,we notice the ability of the policy to uncover the correlations lurking behind the reference motions to improve control *** analyze this ability based on the predictability of the reference trajectory and use the quantified measurements to optimize the design of the *** demonstrate the effectiveness of our method,we deploy the trained policy on hardware and,with a single control policy,the quadruped robot can perform various learned skills,including automatic gait transitions,high kick,and forward jump.

Quaternary ammonium compounds(QACs)are commonly used in a variety of consumer and commercial products,typically as a component of *** the COVID-19 pandemic,QACs became one of the primary agents utilized to inactivate the SARS CoV-2 virus on ***,the ecotoxicological effects of QACs upon aquatic organisms have not been fully *** this study,we examined the effects of a widely used QAC(benzalkonium chloride-C_(14),BAC-14)on two toxigenic Microcystis strains and one non-toxigenic freshwater Microcystis strain and carried out an analysis focused on primary,adaptive and compensatory stress responses at apical(growth and photosynthesis)and metabolic *** analysis revealed that the two toxic Microcystis strains were more tolerant than the non-toxic strain,with 96 hr-EC_(50)values of 0.70,0.76,and 0.38 mg/L BAC-14 for toxigenic *** FACHB-905,toxigenic *** FACHB-469,and non-toxigenic *** FACHB-908,*** photosynthetic activities of the Microcystis,assessed via F_(v)/F_(m) values,were significantly suppressed under 0.4 mg/L ***,this analysis revealed that BAC-14 altered 14,12,and 8 metabolic pathways in *** FACHB-905,*** FACHB-469,and *** FACHB-908,*** is noteworthy that BAC-14 enhanced the level of extracellular microcystin production in the toxigenic Microcystis strains,although cell growth was not significantly ***,these data show that BAC-14 disrupted the physiological and metabolic status of Microcystis cells and stimulated the production and release of microcystin,which could result in damage to aquatic systems.
