Recycling of isabgol(Plantago ovata Forsk.)straw biomass and mineral powder with bio-inoculants as an effective soil amendment for isabgol cultivation

Efficient utilization of isabgol(Plantgo ovata Forsk.)straw biomass through preparation of bio-active organic fertilizer in a natural composting process has not been *** this study,phosphate rock and silicate mineral(mica)powder were used as natural sources of phosphorus(P)and potassium(K),*** dung slurry as a natural decomposer was mixed with the straw biomass at a 10:1(weight/weight)ratio along with mineral ***,nutrient-mobilizing bio-inoculants were used in the composting process after attaining thermal *** agronomic effectiveness of the resulting bio-active compost(BAC)as a bio-organic fertilizer was compared with that of conventional organics(farmyard manure and vermicompost)and chemical fertilizer(CF)by growing isabgol under field *** with the natural sources of P and K along with the bio-inoculants increased the total nitrogen(13.6 g kg^(-1)),P(38.7 g kg^(-1)),and K(31.2 g kg^(-1))contents in the final product(i.e.,BAC)compared with composting without the mineral powder and *** of BAC remarkably improved the seed yield(2.5%)and husk quality of isabgol in comparison with conventional organics and *** with CF,BAC significantly boosted the economic yield of isabgol by improving the husk recovery(2.5%)and mucilage yield(4.12%).Furthermore,BAC significantly improved the soil quality by increasing organic carbon(C),available nutrients,and microbial biomass C contents,as well as enzyme *** positive correlation between soil and plant parameters also highlighted the benefits of BAC for isabgol production through soil quality ***,it can be considered as a zero-waste technology,whereby a large quantity of straw biomass generated from isabgol cultivation,which contains essential nutrients,can be recycled back to the ***,BAC can be effectively used as a bio-active organic fertilizer,particularly in systems where chemical inputs are restricted,

The aim of this article is an effort to initiate the cloudy fuzzy number in developing classical economic production lot-size model of an item produced in scrappy production process with fixed ordering cost and without ***,the market value of an item is cloudy fuzzy number and the production rate is demand *** general,fuzziness of any parameter remains fixed over time,but in practice,fuzziness of parameter begins to reduce as time progresses because of collected experience and knowledge that motivates to take cloudy fuzzy *** model is solved in a crisp,general fuzzy and cloudy fuzzy environment using Yager’s index method and De and Beg’s ranking index method and comparisons are made for all cases and better results obtained in the cloudy fuzzy *** model is solved by dominance based Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to obtain optimal decision and numerical examples and sensitivity analyses are presented to justify the notion.

Study of grain alignment efficiency and a distance estimate for small globule CB4

We study the polarization efficiency（defined as the ratio of polarization to extinction） of stars in the background of the small, nearly spherical and isolated Bok globule CB4 to understand the grain alignment process. A decrease in polarization efficiency with an increase in visual extinction is noticed. This suggests that the observed polarization in lines of sight which intercept a Bok globule tends to show dominance of dust grains in the outer layers of the globule. This finding is consistent with the results obtained for other clouds in the past. We determined the distance to the cloud CB4 using near-infrared photometry（2MASS J H KScolors） of moderately obscured stars located at the periphery of the cloud. From the extinction-distance plot,the distance to this cloud is estimated to be（459 ± 85） pc.

Performance of water-based drilling fluids for deepwater and hydrate reservoirs:Designing and modelling studies

In deepwater drilling,the properties of water-based drilling fluids change remarkably due to low temperature and high pressure,which have a significant effect on lost circulation,wellbore instability and the window between pore pressure and fracturing *** present work investigates the influence of low temperature and high pressure on polymer and nanoparticle(boron nitride(BN))based drilling fluids with an aim to improve their rheological properties and fluid loss *** amplitude and frequency sweep tests were conducted to understand the viscoelastic nature of the *** amplitude sweep tests confirmed the structural stability of the designed fluid within the studied sweep *** study reveals that storage modulus(G')and loss modulus(G")of the samples are enhanced with increasing concentration of BN *** viscoelastic range also increases due to the intermolecular interaction within the structure of the fluid in the presence of the *** the linear viscoelastic range(LVER),all the samples show the dominance of elastic modulus than viscous modulus which delineates the solid-like *** results of rheological tests of drilling fluid containing BN nanoparticles indicate a significant reduction in plastic viscosity(PV),yield point(YP)and apparent viscosity(AV).The rheological studies conducted at different temperatures(from 10℃to-5℃)and pressures(from 7.8 MPa toll MPa)reveal the minimum effect of pressure and temperature on the rheology of samples,which are desirable for their applications in hydrate and deepwater *** filtration loss experiments conducted at 30℃and 0.69 MPa show a large reduction in fluid loss volume(60.6%)and filter cake thickness(90%)for the sample with 0.4 wt%BN nano particles compared to that of the sample without *** filter cake permeability is also in the favourable range with0.008 mD which shows a 94%reduction compared to the sample without nanoparticles.A regres

Geochemical characteristics of mafic and ultramafic rocks from the Naga Hills Ophiolite, India:Implications for petrogenesis

The Naga Hills Ophiolite(NHO) represents one of the fragments of Tethyan oceanic crust in the Himalayan Orogenic system which is exposed in the Phek and Kiphire districts of Nagaland, India. The NHO is composed of partially serpentinized dunite, peridotite, gabbro, basalt, minor plagiogranite,diorite dyke and marine sediments. The basalts are mainly composed of fine grained plagioclase feldspar, clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene and show quenching and variolitic textures. The gabbros are characterized by medium to coarse grained plagioclase, orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene with ophitic to sub-ophitic textures. The ultramafic cumulates are represented by olivine, Cpx and ***, the basalts and gabbros are sub-alkaline to alkaline and show tholeiitic *** basalts are characterized by 44.1-45.6 wt.% of SiO_2 with 28-38 of Mg#, and the gabbros by38.7-43.7 wt.% of SiO_2, and 26-79 of Mg#. The ultramafic rocks are characterized by 37.4-52.2 wt.% of SiO_2, and 80-88 of Mg#. In multi-element diagrams(spidergrams) both basalts and gabbros show fractionated trends with strong negative anomalies of Zr. Nb. Sr and a gentle negative anomaly of ***, the rare earth element(REE) plots of the basalts and gabbros show two distinct patterns. The first pattern, represented by light REE(LREE) depletion, suggests N-MORB features and can be interpreted as a signature of Paleo-Tethyan oceanic crust. The second pattern, represented by LREE enrichment with negligible negative Eu anomaly, conforms to E-MORB, and may be related to an arc tectonic setting. In V vs. Ti/1000, Cr vs. Y and AFM diagrams, the basalts and gabbros plot within Island Arc Tholeiite(IAT) and MORB fields suggesting both ridge and arc related settings. The ultramafic rocks exhibit two distinct patterns both in spidergrams and in REE plots. In the spidergram, one group displays highly enriched pattern, whereas the other group shows near flat pattern compared to primordial mantle. In the REE plot, one
