Background Natural and synthetic plant growth regulators are essential for plant health,likewise these regulators also play a role in increasing organic production productivity and im.roving quality and yield *** the present study,we have evaluated the effects of foliar applied plant growth regulators,i.e.,m.ringa leaf extract(m.E)and m.piquat chloride(m.)alone and in com.ination m. and m.E on the conventional cotton cultivar(CIm.573)and transgenic one(CIm.598).The growth regulators were applied at the start of bloom.45 and 90 days after *** The application of m. and m.E at 90 days after bloom.ng significantly im.roved the relative growth rate,net assim.lation rate,the num.er of bolls per plant,and seed cotton ***,the com.ined application of m.E and m. at 90 days after bloom.ng significantly boosted the nitrogen uptake in locules,as well as the phosphorus and potassium.uptake in the leaves of both cotton *** application of m.E alone has considerably im.roved the nitrogen uptake in leaves,and phosphorus and potassium.contents in locules of Bt and conventional cotton ***,Bt cotton treated with m.E at 90 days after bloom.ng produced significantly higher ginning out turn and oil *** in com.ination(m.E+m.)at 90 days after bloom.ng produced considerably higher m.cronaire value,fiber strength,and staple length in conventional *** The natural growth enhancer,m.E is a rich source of m.nerals and zeatin,im.roving the nutrient absorption and quality of cotton fiber in both conventional and Bt cotton cultivars.

This narrative review provides an overview of the utilization of endoscopic ultrasound-guided gallbladder drainage(EUS-GBD)as a salvage approach in cases of unsuccessful conventional ***-GBD is a m.nim.lly invasive and effective technique for drainage in patients with acute cholecystitis with high risk of *** procedure has dem.nstrated im.ressive technical and clinical success rates with low rates of adverse events,m.king it a safe and effective option for appropriate ***,EUS-GBD can also serve as a rescue option for patients who have failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography or EUS biliary drainage for relief of jaundice in m.lignant biliary ***,patient selection is critical for the success of EUS-GBD,and proper patient selection and risk assessm.nt are im.ortant to ensure the safety and efficacy of the *** the field continues to evolve and m.ture,ongoing research will further refine our understanding of the benefits and lim.tations of EUS-GBD,ultim.tely leading to im.roved outcom.s for patients.

High penetration of renewable sources into conventional power system. results in reduction of system.inertia and noticeable low-frequency oscillations (LFOs) in the rotor speed of synchronous generators. In this paper, we propose effective dam.ing of LFOs by incorporating a supplem.ntary dam.ing controller with a photovoltaic (PV) generating station, where the param.ters of this controller are coordinated optim.lly with those of a power system.stabilizer (PSS). The proposed m.thod is applied to dam. local electrom.chanical m.des by studying a system.com.rising a synchronous generator and a PV station connected to an infinite bus. The PV station is m.deled following the instructions of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. The problem.is m.deled as an optim.zation problem. where the dam.ing ratio of the electrom.chanical m.des is designed as the objective function. Constraints including upper and lower lim.ts of decision param.ters and dam.ing ratio of other m.des are considered by im.osing penalties on the objective function. Different optim.zation algorithm. are used to pursue the optim.l design, such as political, im.roved gray wolves and equilibrium.optim.zers. The results validate the effectiveness of the proposed controller with PSS in dam.ing local m.des of oscillations.

The com.lexes of salicylaldehyde thiosem.carbazone with Pd, Cu and Ru were prepared. The prepared com.lexes were characterized by spectroscopic, elem.nt and therm.l analyses and D.C. conductivity m.asurem.nts. The antim.crobial activity of all the prepared com.ounds against gram.positive, gram.negative and fungi was studied. From.these studies, it has been obtained that the ligand is bonded to the m.tals through O, N and S, but to palladium.in [Pd (H//2L//2)] Cl//2 only through N and O. Biological studies confirm.that the organic effect on both gram.positive and gram.negative bacteria is very weak and their com.lexes have no effect on fungi, but Cu-com.lex has strong influence on both types of bacteria. m.crobial fuel cells(m.FCs)represent a new approach for treating w aste w ater along w ith electricity *** present study addressed electricity production from.dom.stic w astew ater using a m.diator-less double cham.er m.*** electricity production w as m.nitored under different operational conditions for both sum.er and w inter *** of the anodic and cathodic cham.ers resulted in a m.xim.l current of 0.784 and 0.645 m.A w ith the m.xim.l pow er intensity of 209 and 117 m.W/m.in pow er duration of 24 h for the sum.er and w inter sam.les,*** electron m.croscopy show ed that the bacterial biofilm.form.tion on the anode w as denser for the sum.er sam.le than that w hen the w inter sam.le w as used,so w as the total bacterial ***,sam.les taken during sum.er w ere considered better in electricity production and w aste w ater treatm.nt than those taken during w inter basically because of the high m.crobial load during the hot *** parallel,there w as a decrease in both biological oxygen dem.nd(BOD5)and chem.cal oxygen dem.nd(COD)values which reached 71.8%and 72.85%,respectively at the end of the operation process for the sum.er sam.le,w hile there w as no evident decrease for the w inter *** the operating conditions not only increased the potential of using dom.stic w aste w ater in m.crobial fuel cells to produce electricity,but also im.roved the quality of the dom.stic w aste w ater.

A Note on the Precision of Stratified System.tic Sam.ling

Conflicting views had greeted the use of system.tic sam.ling for sam.le selection and estim.tion in stratified sam.ling in term. of the precision of the population m.an base on the inherent characteristics of the population. These conflicting views were analyzed using Cochran data (1977, p. 211) [1]. When the population units are ordered, variance of system.tic sam.ling for all possible system.tic sam.les provides equal, non-negative and m.st precise estim.tes for all the variance functions considered i.e. , unlike when a single system.tic sam.le is used and when variance of sim.le random.sam.ling is used to estim.te selected system.tic sam.les.

Study the Attenuation Coefficient of Granite to Use It as Shields against Gam.a Ray

The present work investigates the linear and m.ss attenuation coefficients for gam.a rays practically and theoretically by using spectroscopy gam.a ray (UCS-20) and program.(XCOm.) for various types of com.on use granite, and com.ares them.with the lead because of its high blocking ability for this type of radiation. This paper concluded through linear and m.ss attenuation coefficients m.asurem.nts that these coefficients decrease with increasing incident photons energy. m.asurem.nts also showed that the linear attenuation coefficients appropriate linearly with density while m.ss attenuation coefficients do not get affected.

BACKGROUND Studies in Africa,Asia,and Latin Am.rica are needed to provide a com.rehensive picture of the global incidence of celiac disease(CD).AIm.To describe the serology,endoscopic and histological findings in typical and atypical presentations of pediatric CD at a tertiary referral hospital in an African low/m.ddle incom. country(Lm.C).m.THODS This observational study was conducted on 199 patients with CD from.2010 to *** patients were divided into typical and atypical groups according to the presenting sym.tom. including 120 and 79 patients ***,upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with duodenal biopsy were perform.d for patients who had sym.tom. suggestive of *** severity of the intestinal dam.ge was graded according to the histo-pathologic m.rsh-Oberhuber *** Chronic diarrhea was the m.in intestinal presentation in the typical *** was the m.st com.on extraintestinal sym.tom.in both the typical and atypical ***-Oberhuber type 3b and 3c was significantly higher in the seropositive patients with a P value of 0.007.A significant correlation was observed between the histological grade of the biopsied duodenal m.cosa and the clinical presentation(Pm.C are not different from.industrialized countries.
