The development of lithium-sulfur(Li-s)batteries is hindered by the disadvantages of shuttling of polysulfides and the sluggish redox kinetics of the conversion of sulfur species during discharge and ***,the crystallinities of a titanium nitride(TiN)film on copper-embedded carbon nanofibers(Cu-CNFs)are regulated and the nanofibers are used as interlayers to resolve the aforementioned crucial issues.A low-crystalline TiN-coated Cu-CNF(L-TiN-Cu-CNF)interlayer is compared with its highly crystalline counterpart(H-TiN-Cu-CNFs).It is demonstrated that the L-TiN coating not only strengthens the chemical adsorption toward polysulfides but also greatly accelerates the electrochemical conversion of *** to robust carbon frameworks and enhanced kinetics,impressive highrate performance at 2 C(913 mAh g^(-1)based on sulfur)as well as remarkable cyclic stability up to 300 cycles(626 mAh g^(-1))with capacity retention of 46.5%is realized for L-TiN-Cu-CNF interlayer-configured Li-s *** under high loading(3.8 mg cm^(-2))of sulfur and relatively lean electrolyte(10μL electrolyte per milligram sulfur)conditions,the Li-s battery equipped with L-TiN-Cu-CNF interlayers delivers a high capacity of 1144 mAh g^(-1)with cathodic capacity of 4.25 mAh cm^(-2)at 0.1 C,providing a potential pathway toward the design of multifunctional interlayers for highly efficient Li-s batteries.

Deep Learning-Based speech Emotion Recognition: Leveraging Diverse Datasets and Augmentation Techniques for Robust Modeling

In recent years， speech Emotion Recognition (sER) has developed into an essential instrument for interpreting human emotions from auditory data. The proposed research focused on the development of a sER system employing deep learning and multiple datasets containing samples of emotive speech. The primary objective of this research endeavor is to investigate the utilization of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) in the process of sound feature extraction. stretching， pitch manipulation， and noise injection are a few of the techniques utilized in this study to improve the data quality. The investigation includes coverage of these methods. Feature extraction methods including Zero Crossing Rate， Chroma＿stft， MFCC， RMs， and Melspectogram are used to train a model. By using these techniques， audio signals can be transformed into recognized features that can be utilized to train the model. Ultimately， the study will produce a thorough evaluation of the model’s performance. When this method was applied， the model achieved an impressive accuracy of 94.57% on the test dataset. Proposed work also validated on EMO-BD and IEMOCAP dataset. These consist of further data augmentation， feature engineering， and hyperparameter optimization. By following these development paths， sER systems will be able to be implemented in real-world scenarios with greater accuracy and resilience.

The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58Co reaction was measured using the well-established neutron activation technique andγ-ray *** in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated using the 7Li(p,n)*** neutron flux was measured using the standard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor *** results of the neutron spectrum averaged cross-section of 58Ni(n,p)58Co reactions were compared with existing cross-section data available in the EXFOR data library as well as with various evaluated data libraries such as ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and *** calculations were performed using the nuclear reaction code *** nuclear level density(NLD)models were tested,and their results were compared with the present *** NLDs were also obtained through the spectral distribution method(sDM).The cross-section results,along with the absolute errors,were obtained by investigating the uncertainty propagation and using the covariance *** forγ-ray true coincidence summing,low-energy background neutrons,andγ-ray self attenuation were *** experimental cross-section obtained in the present study is consistent with previously published experimental data,evaluated libraries,and theoretical calculations carried out using the TALYs code.

spatial and temporal analysis of urban heat island effect over Tiruchirappalli city using geospatial techniques

Alterations made to the natural ground surface and the anthropogenic activity elevate the surface and air temperature in the urban areas compared with the surrounding rural areas,known as urban heat island *** remote sensors measure the radiation emitted by ground objects,which can be used to estimate the land surface temperature and are beneficial for studying urban heat island *** present study investigates the spatial and temporal variations in the effects of urban heat island over Tiruchirappalli city in India during the summer and winter *** study also identifies hot spots and cold spots within the study *** this study,a significant land surface temperature difference was observed between the urban and rural areas,predominantly at night,indicating the presence of urban heat island at *** diurnal land surface temperature fluctuations are also detected seasonally,with a relatively higher temperature intensity during the *** trend line analysis shows that the mean land surface temperature of the study area is increasing at a rate of 0.166 K/decade with p less than *** using the spatial autocorrelation method with the urban heat island index as the key parameter,hot spots with a 99 percent confidence level and a 95 percent confidence level were found within the urban area.A hot spot with 95 and 90 percent confidence level was identified outside the urban *** spike in temperature for a particular region in the rural area is due to industry and the associated built-up *** study also identified cold spots with a 90 percent confidence level within the rural ***,cold spots with a 95 and 99 percent confidence level were not identified within the study area.

structurally,the North Almora Thrust(NAT),is placed in the northern proximity of the Almora Nappe(AN)in the Kumaun Lesser *** NAT is characterized by the presence of a zone of mylonitic rocks of basal saryu Formation(1800±100 Ma)in the hanging wall and the metasedimentaries of Inner Lesser Himalayan rocks as the footwall *** NAT has been dextrally offset by two estabilished maj or faults *** River Fault(sRF)in saryu Valley and Dwarahat-Chaukhutia Fault(DCF)in Ramganga *** present study,we identified four new faults,based on field study,geomorphic landform and magnetic fabric *** faults are N-s trending Pancheshwar Fault,NE-sW Rameshwer Fault,NNE-ssW trending Kosi Fault,and NNE-ssW trending Gagas Fault(GF).Our results show that the zone is bound by cross cutting relation with NAT and these fault zones are comparatively more active than other ***,we suggest that the steep and NW-sE orientation of magnetic foliation within the NAT zone is a result of NE-sW oriented progressive regional *** magnetic foliations represent the unseen internal foliations in the rocks developed due to preferred alignment of magnetic minerals and can be found through the Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMs)*** in the alignment of the field and magnetic foliations are developed due to superimposed brittle deformation along the faults over the pre-existing field *** foliations represent the impact of last stage deformation and significant to find brittle deformation and finite strain in the rocks of the study *** lowering of anisotropy(Pj)away from the fault zone represents distribution of strain across the NAT *** fabric confirms the presence of faults developed across the NAT zone and also explains the deformation pattern along these *** geomorphic anomalies and steepness changes across the NAT zone are correlated with active deformation along the NAT and associated transverse

Geochemical studies of hybrid granite from Madugulapalli area, Eastern Dharwar Craton, southern India: Implications for crustal mixing

Magma produced by melting of continental crust and mantle at the Archean-Proterozoic boundary are compositionally variable and chemical compositions provide evidence for the mixing of two sources. Understanding the composition of hybrid magma is essential for determining the comparative infl uence of crust and mantle sources during orogenesis. The hybrid granites are less documented in Indian cratons, especially less in Dharwar Craton. Here we present petrographic and whole-rock geochemical data of Madgulapalli granitic rocks situated in the NE part of the Eastern Dharwar Craton(EDC), to elucidate their petrogenesis and role in crust formation. The Madugulapalli granites(MPG) are composed chiefl y of plagioclase, quartz, and alkali feldspar with associated biotite showing alteration and inter-granular textures. Geochemically, they are metaluminous to peraluminous in nature with calc-alkaline hybrid granite. The hybrid granites exhibit both negative and positive europium anomalies;the lower Rb/sr, Rb, sr, and higher sr/Y,(Dy/Yb)N ratios suggest that the interaction of older rocks with residual garnet source melted at high pressures. We hypothesize that hybrid granites are formed by interaction(e.g., metasomatism, mingling, or mixing) between parental magmas and pre-existing rocks with the infl uence of sanukitoid melts(heat source) in a subduction environment. The genesis of the hybrid granites demonstrates the mixing coupled with diff erentiation in the petrogeny’s residue system in a syn-collision setting followed by continental crust stability in EDC during the Neoarchean period.
