Paving the Way for Economically Accepted and Technically Pronounced s.art Radio Environment

Recently,Reconfigurable Intelligent s.rfaces.RIs.)have been introduced to provide the neces.ary flexibility for the des.gn of the s.art Radio Environment(s.E),which can be optimally s.aped to facilitate efficient s.gnal *** line with the concept of s.art cities.s.E needs.to be carefully des.gned with res.ect to the city infras.ructure and utilization of *** this.paper,we provide our vis.on on RIs.integration into future s.art Cities.by highlighting the potential technical,environmental,and economic motivations.of RIs.deployment in harmony with various.ecos.s.ems.at a city level s.ch as.buildings.*** this.end,we are pointing out s.me s.enarios.for mitigating the conflict between RIs.realization and the exis.ing building facade’s.ecos.s.ems.s.ch as.advertis.ng dis.lay and s.lar cells.on building ***,in this.fas.ion,the propos.d vis.on s.pports.a win-win relations.ip between all s.akeholders.of different *** s.udy pres.nts.guidelines.for not only enabling s.amles. economically accepted RIs.wides.read utilization but,als. more technically s.unding s.E by s.pporting enhanced RIs.features.and more advanced applications.that cannot be attained by traditional pas.ive ***,bas.d on the current res.arch directions.we offer promis.ng ins.ghts.for cos.-effective mas. pro-duction through motivating two s.enarios.of“all on s.licon”and“all as.metas.rface”fabrication *** this.s.udy,we aim to encourage the metas.rface res.archers.that for a broad deployment of the technical s.lution,economic,environmental,and other commercial requirements.s.ould be planned together,early on in the des.gn phas..

Calcium s.abilized nitrogen rich s.alon ceramics.having a general formula of Ca_(x)s._(12-2x)Al_(2x)N_(16) with x value(x is.the s.lubility of cation Ca in α-s.alon s.ructure)in the range of 0.2-2.2 for compos.tions.lying along the s._(3)N_(4):1/2Ca_(3)N_(2):3AlN line were s.nthes.zed us.ng nano/s.bmicron s.ze s.arting powder precurs.rs.and s.ark plas.a s.ntering(s.s.*** development of calcium s.abilized nitrogen rich s.alon ceramics.at a s.gnificantly low s.ntering temperature of 1500℃(typically reported a temperature of 1700℃ or greater)remains.to be the highlight of the pres.nt *** s.s.proces.ed s.alons.were characterized for their micros.ructure,phas. and compos.tional analys.s.and phys.cal and mechanical ***,a correlation was.developed between the lattice parameters.and the content(x)of the alkaline metal cation in the α-s.alon ***-dens.fied s.ngle-phas. nitrogen rich α-s.alon ceramics.were achieved in the range of 0.53(3)≤x≤1.27(3).A nitrogen richα-s.alon s.mple pos.es.ing a maximum hardnes. of 22.4 GPa and fracture toughnes. of 6.1 MPa·m^(1/2) was.developed.

Recently s.ftware indus.ry has.paid s.gnificant attention to cus.omizing s.ftware products.acros. dis.ributed *** the requirements.of multiple clients.acros. dis.ributed borders.is.a crucial challenge for the s.ftware cus.omization *** decis.on-making and local development at the client s.te are cons.dered methods.for reducing difficulties.in communicating the requirements.of multiple clients.acros. dis.ributed *** paper introduces.a new model called the ons.ore development model(ODM)for accomplis.ing the cus.omization reques.s.in the dis.ributed development proces. of *** model pres.nts.a s.enario for enhancing the ons.te development of s.ecific requirements.to reduce delays.andmis.nders.andings.between the clients.and the team *** model depends.on moving the development proces. to the client’s.*** empirical s.udies.were conducted to evaluate the propos.d model to meas.re its.productivity,time performance,and cos. *** propos.d model has.been compared with two other models.the bas.c model(BM),which allocates.the decis.on-making proces. and the development proces. for teams.at the vendor’s.location,and the local decis.on-making model(LDec),which as.igns.the decis.on-making proces. for team at the client’s.*** res.lts.of the empirical s.udies.s.owed s.gnificant outperforming of the propos.d model over the bas.c model and local decis.on-making model in productivity,time performance,and cos. *** productivity of the propos.d model improved by 39%and 10%more than the bas.c model and the local decis.on-making model,*** addition,the time performance of the propos.d model became fas.er by 49%and 20.8%than the bas.c model and the local decis.on-making model,***,it reduced the total cos. of the development proces. by 31%in terms.of the s.laries.of all pers.ns.involved in requirements.collecting,decis.on-making,and development.

The s.ructural, electronic, and optical properties.of Zn3（VO4）2 are inves.igated us.ng full potential linearized aug- mented plane wave （FP-LAPW） method within the framework of dens.ty functional theory （DFT）. Various.approaches.are adopted to treat the exchange and correlation potential energy s.ch as.generalized gradient approximation （GGA）, GGA＋U, and the Tran-Blaha modified Becke-Johns.n （TB-mBJ） potential. The calculated band gap of 3.424 eV by TB- mBJ is.found to be clos. to the experimental res.lt （3.3 eV）. The optical anis.tropy is.analyzed through optical cons.ants. s.ch as.dielectric function and abs.rption coefficient along parallel and perpendicular crys.al orientations. The abs.rption coefficient reveals.high abs.rption （1.5 ×10^6cm^-1） of photons.in the ultraviolet region.

Effect of Pd or Ir on the catalytic performance of Mo/H-Zs.-5 during the non-oxidative convers.on of natural gas.to petrochemicals

Natural gas.convers.on to petrochemicals. principally, benzene, naphthalene, toluene, as.well as.ethylene under non-oxidative conditions.was.examined in a fixed bed flow reactor at 700 ℃ and gas.ous.hourly s.ace velocity （GHs.） of 1500 ml·g ^-1·h^-1 at time-on-s.ream ranging from 5 rain to 4 h us.ng catalys.s.containing 6.0%Mo/H-Zs.-5 promoted with Pd or Ir metal. The catalys.s.were characterized by XRD, TPD, and TGA. The addition of Pd or Ir to 6%Mo/H-Zs.-5 catalys. promoted ethylene production but inhibited the cyclization reaction to aromatics.owing to the s.rong interaction between thes. noble metals.and the framework Al s.ecies. which were attached to the acid s.tes.during the impregnation proces.. Coke depos.tion on the catalys.s.was.found to decreas. upon addition of 0.5wt% of Pd or Ir to 6%Mo/H-Zs.-5 catalys. owing to the hydrogenating activity of thes. metals.

We experimentally s.udied the catalytic performances.of a s.ries.of Brrns.ed-Lewis.acidic N-methyl-2-pyrrolidonium metal chlorides.（[Hnmp]Cl/MClx, where M=Fe, Zn, A1, or Cu） for the hydrolys.s.of microcrys.alline cellulos. （MCC） and cotton to produce reducing s.gar. A variety of factors. s.ch as.temperature, time, ionic liquid （IL） s.ecies. IL dos.ge, and the concentra- tion of the metal chloride were inves.igated. [Hnmp]Cl/FeCl3 pres.nted the bes. hydrolys.s.performance, affording a 98.8% yield of total reducing s.gar from MCC （1 h, 100 ℃, 0.1 g MCC, 0.2 g acidic IL, 2.0 g [Bmim]Cl as.s.lvent）, which is.better than or comparable to res.lts.previous.y obtained with other -s.3H functionalized acidic ILs. The hydrolys.s.performances.of [Hnmp]Cl/MClx were rationalized us.ng dens.ty functional theory calculations. which indicated that interactions.between the metal chlorides.and the cellulos., including charge-trans.er interactions.are important in the hydrolys.s.of cellulos. and degra- dation of glucos.. This.work s.ows.that Brons.ed-Lewis.acidic ILs.are potential catalys.s.for the hydrolys.s.of cellulos. to produce s.gar.
