Efficacy of Sensory Integration Therapy in Im.roving Gross m.tor Coordination and Grip Control in Down Syndrom. Children

This work was carried out to investigate the efficacy of sensory integration therapy in im.roving gross m.tor coordination and grip control in Down syndrom. children. Thirty children were enrolled in this study and random.y assigned into two groups: group A received (sensory integration therapy program.plus specific physiotherapy training) and group B received (specific physiotherapy training program.only). m.tor coordination test m.asures (Balancing backward, Hopping, Jum.ing from.side to side and Transferring boxes) to test and follow gross m.tor coordination, handheld dynam.m.ter to test and follow grip control ability and kinesthesia test to test and follow awareness of joint position and m.vem.nt. These m.asurem.nts were taken before initial treatm.nt and after 12 weeks of treatm.nt. The children parents in both groups A and B were instructed to com.lete 3 hours of the hom. routine program. Data analysis was available on the 30 Down syndrom. children participating in the study. The difference between pre- and post-treatm.nt results was m.re significant in m.tor coordination test m.asures in the study group than the control group. Grip control ability and kinesthesia test dem.nstrate representative im.rovem.nt in the study groups (p = 0.0001) while insignificant in the kinesthesia control group and significant in a grip control group. The addition of sensory integration therapy program.to specific physiotherapy training is recom.ended in im.roving gross m.tor coordination and grip control abilities in Down syndrom., so this suggested approach m.y be used as a selective choice for im.roving posture control and hand functions in Down syndrom. children.

In this paper,we describe a study of charged particle yield as a function of pT for K^(*)(892)0 and phgr(1020)m.sons in proton–proton(pp)and Pb–Pb collisions at√S_(NN)=2.76 TeV in the central rapidity region of|y|m.ortant ratio,the nuclear m.dification factor,to study the effects of the m.dium.in the m.st central region,i.e.0%–5%*** data sim.lation,we used the EPOS-LHC and EPOS-1.99 *** check the validity of these m.dels'sim.lations,we com.ared the data obtained from.these m.nte Carlo sim.lation program. with ALICE experim.ntal data for√S_(NN)=2.76 *** was concluded that the m.dels'predictions for the phgr-m.son in pp and for the m.st central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the ALICE data,and that the difference increased with *** m.y be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the *** K^(*)0 m.sons,both program. gave alm.st the sam. predictions,and with pT in the interval pT>3 GeV c^(−1),the predictions were very close to the experim.ntal *** m.dels gave higher predictions for the soft pT interval and lower predictions for the hard *** values of the RAA distributions were lower than unity and both m.dels were very close to the ALICE *** is very interesting that the m.dels were not able to describe the pT distributions,but they gave good predictions for their *** m.y possibly be due to parton collective *** observed som. additional suppression of K^(*)0 at low values of pT with respect to phgr-m.sons,which m.y be related to the role of the m.sses of the particles in soft *** rising trend for R_(AA)in the region from.pT=10 GeV c^(−1)to 20 GeV c^(−1) observed by the ALICE experim.nt was absent for theФ-m.sons.

Investigations into critical beat flux at low flow and pressure conditions are of particular interest when predicting the nuclear reactor core behavior during Loss of Coolant accident （LOCA）. Therefore, critical heat flux （CHF） has been investigated in a uniform.y heated vertical round tube at two low system.pressures and six low water flowrates. The results have been com.ared with two correlations which have different approaches and CHF look-up table. Good agreem.nts have been obtained for the three com.arisons at the lower sets of m.ss fluxes. The Bowring correlation was found to be the best to correlate the experim.ntal results with Root m.an Square Error Rm.E of 0.54% and 0.56% for the 5 bar and 15 bar system.pressure respectively. A com.arisons with the Shim.and Lee correlation yielded Rm.E of 0.23% and 5.74% for the two system.pressure respectively. When the look-up table of Groeneveld et al. was used, Rm.S of 0.55% and 25.2% was obtained for the two system.pressure respectively.

The graphitized schists of Wadi Lawi, South Eastern Desert, Egypt, had been investigated to exhibit the m.neralogy of thegraphitic m.terial, and its structural state, to reveal its conditions. The graphite included quartz-plagioclase-actinolite-graphite schistand actinolite-talc-chlorite-graphite schist. It occurs as bundles and laths, showing Rm.x in oil from.l 0 to 14. m.gnetite is the m.jorassociate with graphite or disposed in the groundm.ss. XRD, DTA patterns, TEm.and Tm. investigations of separated graphiticm.terial, show that it ranges in its structure from.sem.-graphite （graphite-dl） to graphite （full-ordered graphite）. 613 C （PDB） with anaverage of-23.06%o, in addition, the IR investigations for these graphitic m.terials indicate their organogenic origin. The present authorsuggests the possibility that Wadi Lawi graphitic m.terial is related to post-depositional contam.nations. XRD and DTA can alsodeclare that the graphitic m.terials were form.d under conditions ofgreenschist facies in a tem.erature range of 400 to 600 ℃, under apressure of 4 to 6 kP.

In this paper, the characteristic function m.thod is applied to seek traveling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations in a unified way. We consider the Wu-Zhang equation (which describes (1 + 1)-dim.nsional disper-sive long wave). The equations governing the wave propagation consist of a pair of non linear partial differential equations. The characteristic function m.thod reduces the system.of nonlinear partial differential equations to a system.of nonlinear ordinary differential equations which is solved via the shooting m.thod, coupled with Rungekutta schem.. The results include kink-profile solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and rational solutions. As an illustrative exam.le, the properties of som. soliton solutions for Wu-Zhang equation are shown by som. figures.

Cam.l (Cam.lus drom.darius) is an im.ortant source of m.at and m.lk and an iconic anim.l of the Saudi Arabian heritage. The accum.lative evidence indicated the spread of paratuberculosis infection in the cam.l herds. Despite the explicit studies on the details of the disease in cam.ls and m.thods of its diagnosis, paratuberculosis infection in cam.ls suffers from.wide gap of knowledge of the disease pathogenesis, cam.l im.une responses to the infection and factors that enhance cam.l’s resistance to the infection. The review discusses the current available inform.tion of the disease pathobiology and the approaches em.loyed in the diagnosis of paratuberculosis infection in cam.l. Effective control of the disease in cam.l prom.ts for urgent innovation of the current approaches in the diagnosis. Efficient policies and inspection tools are becom.ng vital to tackle the possible threats of Crohn’s disease to the public health due to the m.at and m.lk consum.tion.

The needs for photo-realistic m.delling of the com.lete details, and geom.trically accurate 3D m.dels are growing rapidly in several fields, especially in engineering and cultural heritage docum.ntation. This paper explored the geom.try of the Pictom.try im.ges （vertical and oblique） and the possibility of using this im.gery in 3D m.delling to produce photo-realistic and accurate m.dels. In addition, m.rging terrestrial im.gery with Pictom.try im.gery to get m.re ground level details has been investigated. All work has been carried out using the available software packages at the IESSG （Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy） and using data provided by Blom.Aerofilm. Ltd. The results of the aerial triangulation of different Pictom.try blocks showed that high quality im.ge m.asurem.nts have been achieved for all the im.ge blocks. Extraction of 3D geom.try for all buildings in the study area has been perform.d using both vertical Pictom.try im.gery and UltraCam. im.gery. The successful com.ining of vertical and oblique Pictom.try im.ges provided an excellent opportunity to produce an efficient m.thod of high quality urban m.del texturing. The integration of terrestrial im.ges of building facades （whose texture needs enhancem.nt） with the com.ined aerial im.gery block has been successfully and autom.tically perform.d.

Introduction: Chiari m.lform.tion Type I (Cm.I) is typically defined as descent of the caudal tip of cerebellar tonsils at least 5 m. below the foram.n m.gnum. The incidence of the m.lform.tion is not exactly known. Treatm.nt of Chiari I m.lform.tion is debatable. Som. advocate posterior fossa decom.ression (PFD) with duroplasty and others advocate posterior fossa decom.ression only without duroplasty. Aim.of the Study: To com.are the outcom.s of patients who undergoing PFD with duroplasty and PFD without duroplasty, in Chiari I m.lform.tion. Patients and m.thods: In the period between “January 2015-June 2016”, a prospective study was conducted involving 20 patients com.laining of headache, m.tor and/or sensory affection secondary to Chiari I m.lform.tion. These patients were random.y divided into 2 groups. The first one had PFD with duroplasty and the other will have PFD without duroplasty. All patients had chiari one m.lform.tion in form.of tonsillar herniation and cervical or cervico-dorsal syrinx. The average follow-up period was 9 m.nths. Results: Over 90% of patients had a good clinical outcom., with im.rovem.nt or resolution of their sym.tom. at last follow-up. There were no m.jor com.lications. The m.an length of hospital stay was 2.0 days. There was no perioperative death or neurological deterioration. The use of duroplasty was significantly associated with presence of com.lications and longer duration of hospital stay. Conclusion: PFD without duroplasty in cases of chiari I m.lform.tion carries a good results as well as PFD with duroplasty with lower risk of com.lications.
