The paper presents a parametric study on interpolation techniques based postprocessed error estimation in finite element elastic analysis by varying important parameters of recovery,interpolation scheme and type of patch *** quality of error estimation with recovery parameters is compared in terms of local and global effectivity of error estimation,rate of error convergence,and adaptively refined meshes.A mesh free moving least square interpolation technique with proven reliability and effectivity is introduced for improving the recovery of finite element solution *** post-processed finite element solutions of elastic problems are presented for performance study under different parameters of recovery *** study concludes that recovery parameters of interpolation method have pronounced effect on the recovery of finite element solution error and analysis in adaptive environment.

A recent study by Zoufaly et *** in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine describes encouraging data from the first severe COVID-19 patient successfully treated with human recombinant soluble angiotensin-converting enzyme-2(hrsACE2).1 The published data document upon treatment of an adaptive immune response,the disappearance of the virus swiftly from the serum,the nasal cavity and lungs,and a reduction of inflammatory cytokine levels that are critical for COVID-19 ***,the use of hrsACE2 did not impede the generation of neutralizing antibodies,leading to a significant clinical improvement of the treated patient.

Background:The impact of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) on bone mineral density (BMD) has been well studied in adults with a relative paucity of data in children,especially concerning effect of treatment with pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) plus ribavirin (RV).In the current work,we assessed prospectively changes in BMD in children with CHC before,during,and after ***:Forty-six consecutive children with noncirrhotic genotype 4 CHC were subjected to dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry at baseline,24 weeks,48 weeks of therapy and 24 weeks after ***,bone mineral content (BMC),and Z score of lumbar spine (L2-L4) were *** pubertal stage,viral load,liver function tests,serum calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase,parathyroid hormone,and liver histopathology were assessed in all included ***:Thirty (65.2%) patients had normal BMD,10 (21.7%) were at risk for low BMD,and 6 (13.1%) had low BMD for chronological *** with low BMD were significantly older (P=0.001),with higher frequency of delayed puberty than other groups (P=0.002).Baseline densitometric parameters (BMD & BMC) were significantly positively correlated with patients' age,weight,height,body mass index and hemoglobin level;while they were insignificantly correlated with basal viral load,histopathology activity index and fibrosis *** parameters improved significantly on PEG-IFN plus RV treatment,this improvement was found to be sustainable 24 weeks after ***:Low BMD is detectable in a proportion of CHC *** therapy leads to a sustainable increase in BMD.

用一釜水热合成法制备了硫化铜/还原氧化石墨烯纳米复合材料,改变前驱体中石墨烯含量,得到具有不同石墨烯含量的纳米复合材料。所制备的纳米复合材料首先和聚偏氟乙烯粘结剂混合,再涂覆在SnO2 _(x-)Fx基体上,得到以CdS敏化TiO2为负极的量子点太阳能电池的对电极,并与传统的Cu2 S/Cu对电极进行比较。用场发射扫描电子显微镜、X-射线衍射、拉曼光谱、循环伏安和阻抗谱技术表征了纳米复合材料对电极的微观结构和性能。结果表明:硫化铜/还原氧化石墨烯纳米复合材料优于Cu2 S/Cu对电极。前驱体中石墨烯的含量显著影响了硫化铜纳米晶的化学计量比和形貌。当前驱体石墨烯含量在中等水平下,获得了具有更多供S2_(-x)离子还原的活性位的优化的硫化铜/还原氧化石墨烯纳米复合材料。以此优化的纳米复合材料为对电极制备的量子点太阳能电池在100 mW/cm2的光照强度下具有高的、稳定的和可重复的_(2.)36%的能量转化效率,高于用Cu2 S/Cu为对电极的能量转化效率。此性能的提升归因于硫化铜纳米晶和导电的还原氧化石墨烯之间的协同作用,还原氧化石墨烯充当共催化剂和导电促进剂,降低对电极的内阻并加快多硫化物的还原。

BACKGROUND: Pancreatic reconstruction following pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD) is still debatable even for pancreatic surgeons. Ideally, pancreatic reconstruction after PD should reduce the risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula(POPF) and its severity if developed with preservation of both exocrine and endocrine pancreatic functions. It must be tailored to control the morbidity linked to the type of *** study was to show the best type of pancreatic reconstruction according to the characters of pancreatic stump. METHODS: We studied all patients who underwent PD in our center from January 1993 to December 2015. Patients were categorized into three groups depending on the presence of risk factors of postoperative complications: low-risk group(absent risk factor), moderate-risk group(presence of one risk factor) and high-risk group(presence of two or more risk factors). RESULTS: A total of 892 patients underwent PD for resection of periampullary tumor. BMI >25 kg/m~2, cirrhotic liver, soft pancreas, pancreatic duct diameter elopment of postoperative complications. POPF developed in 128(14.3%) patients. Delayed gastric emptying occurred in 164(18.4%) patients, biliary leakage developed in 65(7.3%) and pancreatitis presented in 20(2.2%). POPF in low-, moderate-and high-risk groups were 26(8.3%), 65(15.7%) and 37(22.7%) patients, respectively. Postoperative morbidity and mortality were significantly lower with pancreaticogastrostomy(PG) in high-risk group, while pancreaticojejunostomy(PJ) decreases incidence of postoperative steatorrhea in all groups. CONCLUSIONS: Selection of proper pancreatic reconstruction according to the risk factors of patients may reduce POPF and postoperative complications and mortality. PG is superior to PJ as regards short-term outcomes in high-risk group but PJ provides better pancreatic function in all groups and therefore, PJ is superior in l

AIM： To observe the imbalance between T helper cell Th1 and Th2 cytokines in several chronic hepatitis disease at different stages of disease progression. METHODS： We measured the cytokine levels of Thl （IL-2 and IL-2R）, Th2 （IL-10） and the pro-inflammatory cytokines （IL-6 and IL-6R and TNF and TNF-RI and II） by the elISA technique in the sera of 33 hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） patients and 20 chronic liver disease （CLD） patients. In addition, 20 asymptomatic hepatitis C virus carriers and 20 healthy subjects negative for hepatitis C virus（HCV） markers served as controls. RESULTS： Anti-HCV antibodies were found to be positive in 94% of HCC cases and 75% of CLD cases. On the other hand, HCV viremia was detected using RT- PCR in 67% of HCC cases and 65% of CLD cases. HBsAg was positive in 9% of HCC cases and 30% of CLD cases. Also bilharziaI-Ab was positive in 55% of HCC cases, 65% of CLD cases and in 70% of asymptomatic carriers （ASC）. HCC patients had significantly higher values of IL- 2R, TNF-RII （P〈0.001）, and TNF-RI （P〉0.05）, but lower TNFα （P〈0.001） and IL-6 （P = 0.032） in comparison to ASC. But, in comparison to non-cancer controls, HCC patients had higher values of IL-2R, IL-6R, TNF-RI and TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. CLD patients had higher IL-2R, TNF-RI, and TNF-RII （P〈0.001） than ASC. But, in comparison to non-cancer controls, CLD patients had higher values of IL-2R, TNF-RI and TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. IL-10 was higher （though not significantly） in HCC and CLD patients than in symptomatic carriers and non-cancer controls. CONCLUSION： Liver disease progression from CLD to HCC due to HCV genotype-4 infection is associated with an imbalance between Th1 and Th2 cytokines. IL-2R, TNF-RI, and TNF-RII could be used as potential markers.

The ability of any steganography system to correctly retrieve the secret message is the primary criterion for measuring its ***,researchers have tried to generate a new natural image driven from only the secret message bits rather than using a cover to embed the secret message within it;this is called the stego *** paper proposes a new secured coverless steganography system using a generative mathematical model based on semi Quick Response(QR)code and maze game image *** system consists of two *** first component contains two processes,encryption process,and hiding *** encryption process encrypts secret message bits in the form of a semi-QR code image whereas the hiding process conceals the pregenerated semi-QR code in the generated maze game *** the other hand,the second component contains two processes,extraction and decryption,which are responsible for extracting the semi-QR code from the maze game image and then retrieving the original secret message from the extracted semi-QR code image,*** results were obtained using the bit error rate(BER)*** results confirmed that the system achieved high hiding capacity,good performance,and a high level of robustness against attackers compared with other coverless steganography methods.

BACKGROUND Insufficient and contradictory data are available about the relation between directacting antivirals(DAAs)and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)development in patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV).AIM To analyze differences in basic clinical,radiological,and laboratory characteristics in addition to tumor behavior upon HCC diagnosis between patients with and without a previous history of DAAs *** This multicenter case-control study included 497 patients with chronic HCVrelated HCC,allocated into one of two groups according to their history of antiviral treatment for their *** Group I included 151 HCC patients with a history of DAAs,while 346 patients who had never been treated with DAAs were assigned to group II.A significant difference was observed between both groups regarding basic assessment scores(Child,MelD,and BCLC),which tended to have more advanced liver disease and HCC stage upon diagnosis in group ***,serum albumin was significantly affected,and serumα-fetoprotein was significantly higher in group II(P<0.001).In addition,group I showed significant HCC multicentricity than group II,while the incidence of portal vein thrombosis was significantly higher in group I(P<0.001).CONCLUSION The basic clinical scores and laboratory characteristics of HCC patients are advanced in patients who are naïve to DAAs treatment;however,HCC behavior is more aggressive in DAA-treated patients.

Objective To define the relationship between the use of progestogen-only contracep- tion and the occurrence of abnormal cervical cytology and cervical intraepithelial lesion. Methods The present study was designed as a case-control study including 200 progestogen-only contraceptive （POC） users recruited as cases （group A） and 50 women who were non-hormonal contraceptive users as a control group （group B）. Positive Papanicolau （Pap） smear was reported in cervical cell abnormalities from atypical squamous cell of undetermined significance （ASCUS） to invasive cancer. Pap smear was evaluated according to the Bethesda system classification 2001. Cases with posi- tive Pap smears were subjected to visual inspection of the cervix with 5.0% acetic acid （VIA test） and punch biopsy. Results Statistical analysis of Pap smear results in this study showed epithelial cell abnormalities in 44 cases （22.0%） in group A and 9 cases （18.0%） in group B showing no statistically significant difference （P〉O. 05）. ASCUS abnormality was reported in 31 cases （15.5%） of group A and 6 cases of group B （12.0%）. Low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion （LSIL） was found in 11 cases （5.5%） and 3 cases （6.0%） of group A and group B, respectively. High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion （HSIL） was found in 2 cases （1.0%） of group A and none of group B. The incidence of abnormal Pap smears in group A did not greatly vary between different methods of POCs. Among Depo medroxyprogesterone acetate （DMPA） users, ASCUS was found in 17 cases （16.8%）, LSIL was found in 11 cases （10.8%） and HSIL was found in 2 cases （1.9%）. While in progesterone-only pills （POPs） users and Implanon~ users, ASCUS was found in 10 cases （12.8%） and 4 cases （20.0%） respectively with no higher epithelial abnormalities found. Levonorgestrel intrauterine device （LNG-IUD） was used by 1 case in group A and was not associated with Pap smear abnormality.
