This study investigated the relationships between human resource(HR)practices,employee psychological empowerment,employee innovative work behavior,and firm innovation capability in the context of the Information and Communication Technology(ICT)sector in *** the Social Exchange Theory(SET)as a guiding framework,this study explored how employee psychological empowerment and innovative work behavior mediated the influence of HR practices on a firm’s innovative *** on extensive data collected from ICT organizations in Jordan,our analysis had several key findings.A significant positive correlation between HR practices and psychological empowerment was *** design emerged as the most influential factor affecting psychological empowerment,whereas compensation had a weaker ***,we established that psychological empowerment significantly enhanced innovative work behavior,underscoring its role as a catalyst for innovative work behavior within the ***,our study supported the theory that psychological empowerment influenced a firms’innovation capabilities,emphasizing the pivotal role of employee empowerment in driving firm-level innovation in the Jordanian ICT *** findings provide insights for academic and practical audiences,clarifying how HR practices,employee psychological empowerment,and innovative work behavior collectively influenced firm innovation capability within the unique context of the Jordanian ICT sector.

The demand for industrial enzymes is continually rising,fueled by the growing need to shift towards more sustainable industrial ***,making efficient enzyme production strains and identifying optimal enzyme expression conditions remains a ***,the production of the enzymes themselves comes with unavoidable impacts,e.g.,the need to utilize secondary ***,we take a more holistic view of bioprocess development and report an integrative approach that allows us to rapidly identify improved enzyme expression and secretion conditions and make use of cyanobacterial waste biomass as feed for supporting Pichia pastoris *** demonstrate these capabilities by producing a phytase secreted by *** that is grown on cyanobacterium hydrolysate and buffered glycerol-complex(BMGY)medium,with genetic expression conditions identified by high-throughput screening of a randomized se-cretion *** our best-performing strain is grown in a fed-batch fermentation on BMGY,we reach over 7000 U/mL in three days.

Intelligent Tutoring System of Linear Programming

There is a growing technological development in intelligent teaching systems. This field has become interesting to many researchers. In this paper, we present an intelligent tutoring system for teaching mathematics that helps students understand the basics of linear programming using Linear Program Solver and Service for Solving Linear Programming Problems, through which students will be able to solve economic problems. It comes down to determining the minimum or maximum value of a linear function, which is called the objective function, according to pre-set limiting conditions expressed by linear equations and inequalities. The goal function and the limiting conditions represent a mathematical model of the observed problem. Working as a professor of mathematics in high school, I felt the need for one such work and dealing with the study of linear programming as an integral part of mathematics. There are a number of papers in this regard, but exclusively related to traditional ways of working, as stated in the introductory part of the paper. The center of work as well as the final part deals with the study of linear programming using programs that deal with this topic.

Objeclive:To evaluate the larvicidal activity of the tuber extracts isolated from two species of Cyclamen（Cyxltimen mimbile *** Cyclamen alpinum Dammann ***） against Culex pipiens L.（Diptera:Culicidae）.Methods:Twenty young（first-second） or older（third- fourth） instars of tile Culex pipiens were exposed to various concentrations（100 to I 000 ppm） of the *** was recorded after 12-,24-,48-.72- and 96-h of ***:We determined that the young larval stages were more susceptible to the extracts in comparison with the older larval stages.A comparison of LC90 and LC90 values has shown that Cyclamen mimbile was more active than Cyclamen ***:This study is the first to report on the larvicidal activity of the extracts of Cyclamen species against Culex *** studies are needed to isolate and identify the active components involved,their mode of action,and effects on other mosquito and pest species.

乳腺癌（Breast cancer,BC）是女性最常见的癌症之一,也是女性第二大癌症死因。BC具有异质性,包括20多种不同的组织病理亚型。乳腺癌的病因尚未确定,但往往与生活方式、遗传和环境等多种因素有关。根据雌激素（estrogen receptor,ER+）、孕酮（progesterone receptor,PR+）和人表皮生长因子受体 2（human epidermal growth factor receptor 2,her2）的状态,BC可分为5个主要的分子亚型。在肿瘤发生发展的过程中,肿瘤细胞通过促进辅助性T细胞向TH2（T helper cells 2,TH2）表型分化,并通过促进抑制因子的产生和抑制固有和适应性免疫系统功能,产生免疫耐受。在全身范围内,肿瘤细胞通过减少抗原呈递和分泌免疫抑制性细胞因子,以逃避机体的免疫识别并促进肿瘤细胞持续生长,最终导致耐药变体的克隆性扩增。白细胞介素10（interleukin-10,IL10）细胞因子家族由9个家族成员组成,即IL10、IL19、IL20、IL22、IL24 和 IL26,以及Ⅲ型干扰素（Type Ⅲ interferons,IFN）IL28A、IL28B和IL29。IL10是1989年由Mosmann及其同事发现的一种由小鼠TH2细胞产生的细胞因子,能够抑制1型辅助性T细胞（type 1 helper T cells,TH1）型细胞因子的产生和活性,最初也被称为细胞因子合成抑制因子（cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor,CSIF）。成熟的IL10由160个氨基酸组成,形成分子量约18kDa的单体结构。IL10作为一种抗炎细胞因子,主要由单核细胞、T淋巴细胞、B淋巴细胞（主要是Breg细胞）、巨噬细胞、自然杀伤细胞和树突状细胞分泌,甚至由肿瘤组织分泌。IL10可抑制包括促炎细胞因子、趋化因子和趋化因子受体等在内的多种基因的表达,是一种具有免疫抑制和抗血管生成的多功能免疫调节因子,在包括肿瘤在内的多种疾病中发挥着重要作用。IL10是肿瘤诊断和治疗的生物标志物之一,此外,它也参与多种信号通路,与疾病的发病机制相关,并在一些肿瘤如乳腺癌的组织和血液中表达。IL10在肿瘤发生发展中的作用目前尚有争议,不同的研究结论也不一致。有研究发现,正常乳腺组织不表达IL10蛋白,但IL10在乳腺癌组织中显著升高,尤其是PR和ER阴性的乳腺癌患者。乳腺癌组织中IL10 mRNA水平较正常乳腺组织明显升高。IL10在动物模型和人类肿瘤中的表达与肿瘤免疫反应相关。有的研究认为IL10是乳腺癌的不良预后因子之一,BC患者血液中IL10水平高于正常对照组,且与预后呈负相关,IL10可刺激肿瘤细胞的增殖和转移。但另一些研究则认为IL10水平与肿瘤的分级无关;BC患者与乳腺活检阴性的可疑患者之间的血清IL10水平无明显差异。因此,IL10在乳腺癌中的作用尚需进一步的研究证实。本课题旨在进一步研究IL10对乳腺癌细胞的生物学功能的影响,特别是在乳腺癌细胞增殖和凋亡中的作用。在体外实验中,我们采用不同浓度的IL10,通过不同方法处理乳腺癌细胞MCF7和MDA-MB-231,研究其增殖和凋亡改变情况。本研究深入探讨了 IL10在MCF7和MDA-MB-231细胞增殖和凋亡中的作用机制,以及IL10与乳腺癌激素标志物的相关性（MCF7是雌激素受体（ER）和孕激素受体（ER）阳性、HER2阴性细胞系,MDA-MB-231是三阴性（riple-negative,TN）细胞）,本研究的实施对于乳腺癌的临床治疗研究具有一定的实践意义。IL10的表达与凋亡相关的肿瘤标志物有关,即与p53呈负相关,与Bcl2蛋白家族呈正相关。然而,IL10的存在和Bc12在肿瘤中浓度的增加可能提示乳腺癌的侵袭性。同样的研究也显示IL10水平与Bax的表达高度正相关,尽管Bax是Bcl2家族的一部分,是一种促凋亡的影响。细胞信号在包括乳腺癌转移在内的不同细胞过程中起着重要作用,一些长链非编码RNA（long non-coding RNAs,lncRNAs）主要与某些信号通路相关,这些信号通路对乳腺癌转移和转移相关基因表达的复杂级联反应也是必不可少的。新的研究表明,信号转导lncRNAs可以作为不同途径的调节因子,如TGF β、NFκb、STAT3、Hippo、EGF、Wnt、PI3K/AKT、p53 等信号通路。研究发,lncRNA ANCR 通过抑制 RUNX2的表达参与TGFβ信号通路,进一步抑制乳腺癌细胞的侵袭和转移。本研究主要关注IL10在乳腺癌中的生物学作用。取传代10代后的MCF7和MDA-MB-231乳腺癌细胞系,将不同浓度梯度的IL10刺激乳腺肿瘤细胞,用CCK8（Cell Cou

Characterization of the Hydrogeological Conditions of Some Portions of the Neoproterozoic Voltaian Supergroup in Northern Ghana

Spatial variations in the essential aquifer parameters obtained through regular aquifer tests were evaluated for some aquifers of the Neoproterozoic sedimentary aquifers of the Voltaian Basin. Ordinary least squares regression models have also been developed to relate aquifer transmissivity and specific capacity, and well yield and transmissivity. These analyses suggest that in the northern parts of the Voltaian, aquifer transmissivity exists in a non-linear relationship with specific capacity and yield. This is in keeping with the findings of previous research in the southern part of the Voltaian, and deviates from the regular Dupuit-Thiem relationship between the two major aquifer parameters. Lithology specific models have been developed in this study. The exponent of the non-linear models appears to be related to the lithology, and tends to approach unity in the mudstone and siltstone aquifers, whilst manifesting obvious departures from nonlinearity amongst the sandstone aquifers. This study finds that the sandstone aquifers are the most prolific and offer themselves as the best lithologies for drilling successful wells in the area. Linear prediction maps suggest that the most prolific aquifers are located in the northern parts of the study area, where aquifer transmissivity, specific capacity, and well yield values are quite high due to enhanced secondary permeabilities. There has been no obvious relationship between the major aquifer parameters and static water levels, which are quite high in the middle and western sections of the study area. The hydrogeological properties of rocks within the Voltaian appear to be based on discrete structural entities which manifest high variability in the study area. Even within the same lithology, standard deviations are quite high in the data for all the aquifer parameters examined in this study.

Modelling the Impact and Effects of Climatic Variability on Electricity Energy Consumption in the Yendi Municipality of Ghana

One of the cherished assets of every economy is electricity since it has proven to be the major source of energy for industrialization. Developing economies like Ghana have suffered the downside of poor management of the already inadequate electrical energy at its disposal. This is as a result of limited research into factors that influences electricity energy consumption, most importantly, the effects of climatic variables on electricity energy consumption. This research work explores the causal connection between climatic variables and electricity energy consumption, and develops a Vector Auto Regression (VAR) model to determine the influence of the climatic variables in forecasting electricity energy consumption in Yendi Municipality in the northern region of Ghana. The climatic factors considered in this work are;Rainfall (Rain), maximum temperature (Tmax), Sunshine (Sun), Wind (wind) and Relative Humidity (RH). The Granger causality tests employed in this work revealed that aside from Relative Humidity, the end energy consumption is affected by the other four climatic factors under consideration. The impulse response was used to ascertain the active interaction among electricity energy consumption and the climatic variables. The impulse response of electricity energy consumption to the climatic variables indicates a maximum positive effect of Temperature and Sunshine on electricity energy consumption in March and September respectively. The VAR model was also used in forecasting future consumption of electricity energy. The results indicate excellent forecasts of electricity energy consumption for the first four months of 2019.

Intensive care unit hospitalizations and outcomes in patients with severe COVID-19 during summer and fall surges in Georgia

BACKGROUND There is limited data on the difference in the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)infection in the summer compared to the fall *** To compare the sociodemographic,clinical characteristics,and outcomes among mechanically ventilated patients with severe COVID-19 infection admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU)during the summer and fall surges in the year *** We included patients admitted to the ICU and treated with invasive mechanical ventilation for COVID-19 associated respiratory failure between April 1 and December 31,*** were categorized into summer surge for ICU admissions between June 15,2020,and August 15,2020,and fall surge between October 15,2020,and December 31,*** compared patients'characteristics and outcomes using descriptive and inferential *** A total of 220 patients were admitted to the Grady Memorial Hospital ICU and mechanically ventilated for COVID-19 associated hypoxemic respiratory failure during the period considered(125 during the summer surge and 95 during the fall surge).More women were admitted in the fall compared to summer(41.1%vs 36.8%,difference,4.3%;95%CI:1.2,7.5).Patients admitted in the fall had fewer comorbidities(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,stroke,diabetes mellitus,obstructive sleep apnea and body mass index≥35 kg/m2).Overall,patients in the fall had a lower ICU mortality rate(27.4%vs 38.4%,difference,-11.0;95%CI:-6.4,-18.2),shorter length of stay on the mechanical ventilator(7 d vs 11 d,difference,4 d;95% CI:2.1,6.6)and shorter ICU length of stay(9 d vs 14 d,difference,5 d;95% CI:2.7,9.4).CONCLUSION Patients admitted with severe COVID-19 infection requiring mechanical ventilation had better outcomes in the fall than *** difference observed is likely attributable to a better understanding of the condition and advances in treatment strategies.
