Reliable Task Offloading for 6G-Based IoT Applications

Fog computing is a key enabling technology of 6G systems as it provides quick and reliable computing,and data storage services which are required for several 6G *** Intelligence(AI)algorithms will be an integral part of 6G systems and efficient task offloading techniques using fog computing will improve their performance and *** this paper,the focus is on the scenario of Partial Offloading of a Task to Multiple Helpers(POMH)in which larger tasks are divided into smaller subtasks and processed in parallel,hence expediting task ***,using POMH presents challenges such as breaking tasks into subtasks and scaling these subtasks based on many interdependent factors to ensure that all subtasks of a task finish simultaneously,preventing resource ***,applying matching theory to POMH scenarios results in dynamic preference profiles of helping devices due to changing subtask sizes,resulting in a difficult-to-solve,externalities *** paper introduces a novel many-to-one matching-based algorithm,designed to address the externalities problem and optimize resource allocation within POMH ***,we propose a new time-efficient preference profiling technique that further enhances time optimization in POMH *** performance of the proposed technique is thoroughly evaluated in comparison to alternate baseline schemes,revealing many advantages of the proposed *** simulation findings indisputably show that the proposed matching-based offloading technique outperforms existing methodologies in the literature,yielding a remarkable 52 reduction in task latency,particularly under high workloads.

Wireless nodes are one of the main components in different applications that are offered in a smart *** wireless nodes are responsible to execute multiple tasks with different priority *** the wireless nodes have limited processing capacity,they offload their tasks to cloud servers if the number of tasks exceeds their task processing *** these tasks from remotely placed cloud servers causes a significant delay which is not required in sensitive task *** execution delay is reduced by placing fog computing nodes near these application nodes.A fog node has limited processing capacity and is sometimes unable to execute all the requested *** this work,an optimal task offloading scheme that comprises two algorithms is proposed for the fog nodes to optimally execute the time-sensitive offloaded *** first algorithm describes the task processing criteria for local computation of tasks at the fog nodes and remote computation at the cloud *** second algorithm allows fog nodes to optimally scrutinize the most sensitive tasks within their task *** results show that the proposed task execution scheme significantly reduces the execution time and most of the time-sensitive tasks are executed.

Sentiment analysis, the meta field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), attempts to analyze and identify thesentiments in the opinionated text data. People share their judgments, reactions, and feedback on the internetusing various languages. Urdu is one of them, and it is frequently used worldwide. Urdu-speaking people prefer tocommunicate on social media in Roman Urdu (RU), an English scripting style with the Urdu language *** have developed versatile lexical resources for features-rich comprehensive languages, but limitedlinguistic resources are available to facilitate the sentiment classification of Roman Urdu. This effort encompassesextracting subjective expressions in Roman Urdu and determining the implied opinionated text polarity. Theprimary sources of the dataset are Daraz (an e-commerce platform), Google Maps, and the manual effort. Thecontributions of this study include a Bilingual Roman Urdu Language Detector (BRULD) and a Roman UrduSpelling Checker (RUSC). These integrated modules accept the user input, detect the text language, correct thespellings, categorize the sentiments, and return the input sentence’s orientation with a sentiment intensity *** developed system gains strength with each input experience gradually. The results show that the languagedetector gives an accuracy of 97.1% on a close domain dataset, with an overall sentiment classification accuracy of94.3%.

Prediction of COVID-19 Cases Using Machine Learning for Effective Public Health Management

COVID-19 is a pandemic that has affected nearly every country in the *** present,sustainable development in the area of public health is considered vital to securing a promising and prosperous future for ***,widespread diseases,such as COVID-19,create numerous challenges to this goal,and some of those challenges are not yet *** this study,a Shallow Single-Layer Perceptron Neural Network(SSLPNN)and Gaussian Process Regression(GPR)model were used for the classification and prediction of confirmed COVID-19 cases in five geographically distributed regions of Asia with diverse settings and environmental conditions:namely,China,South Korea,Japan,Saudi Arabia,and *** environmental and non-environmental features were taken as the input dataset,and confirmed COVID-19 cases were taken as the output dataset.A correlation analysis was done to identify patterns in the cases related to fluctuations in the associated *** results of this study established that the population and air quality index of a region had a statistically significant influence on the ***,age and the human development index had a negative influence on the *** proposed SSLPNN-based classification model performed well when predicting the classes of confirmed *** training,the binary classification model was highly accurate,with a Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)of ***,the results of the regression analysis using the GPR technique with Matern 5/2 were highly accurate(RMSE=0.95239)when predicting the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in an ***,dynamic management has occupied a core place in studies on the sustainable development of public health but dynamic management depends on proactive strategies based on statistically verified approaches,like Artificial Intelligence(AI).In this study,an SSLPNN model has been trained to fit public health associated data into an appropriate class,allowing GPR to predict the number of confir

Genus Oenothera includes medicinal plants that are distributed throughout the world and are known since ancient times. Popular indications of different species of this genus include treatment of inflammations, diabetes, microbial infections, ulcers, tumors, kidney and liver problems. The plants of this genus are a botanical source for various pharmaceutically active components like sterols, alkaloids, phenolic acids, flavonoids, triterpenoids, saponins, biflavonols and tocopherols. The tidal power has the potential to play a vital role in a sustainable energy *** main objective of this paper is to investigate the performance and fatigue life of tidal current turbine(TCT)using fluid structure interaction(FSI)*** performance of TCT was predicted using Ansys *** performance curve,pressure distribution on the blade,and velocity streamline were visualized for eight repetitive analyses at different tip speed *** hydrodynamic load calculated from CFD analysis was transferred to FEA model for investigation of the structural response of *** analysis was performed to examine the mode shapes and natural frequencies of *** fatigue analysis were performed and number of cycles and safety factor at different equivalent alternating stresses were *** results of the simulation confirm that the turbine has a maximum value of the coefficient of performance atλ=5,the turbine operating frequency is not close to its natural frequency,and it is safe under the applied fatigue loads with a high factor of safety.

Novel FGMOS Based PCS Device for Low Power Applications

The spice model for photo catalytic sensor （PCS） proposed by Whig and ahmad overcomes several drawbacks like complex designing, non-linearity, and long computation time generally found in the flow injection analysis （FIA） technique by Yoon-Chang Kim et al. for the determination of chemical oxygen demand （COD）. The FIA technique involves the complete analysis including sampling and washing. The flow injection analysis is an analytical method for the measurement of the chemical oxygen demand by using the photochemical column. This method uses a bulky setup and takes 10 minutes to 15 minutes to get the output result which is a tedious and time consuming job. If the conventional method is continuously used for a long time then it is stable only for 15 days. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new floating gate photo catalytic sensor （FGPCS） approach which has low power consumption and more user-friendly, and it is fast in operation by the modeling and optimization of sensor used for water quality monitoring. The proposed model operates under sub-threshold conditions which are appreciated in large integrated system design. The results of simulation are found to be fairly in agreement with the theoretical predictions. The results exhibit near linear variations of parameters of interest with appreciably reduced response time.

A comparison between different ohmic contacts for ZnO thin films

There are several metals that form ohmic contacts for ZnO thin films, such as copper, aluminum and silver. The aim of this work is to make a comparison between these ohmic contacts. To achieve this purpose, polycrystalline ZnO thin films were prepared by the spray pyrolysis technique, and characterized by the I-V measurements at room temperature. Two strips of each metal were thermally evaporated on the surface of the film and measurements were first recorded in the dark and room light, then in the dark before and after annealing for A1, which was found to be the best in the set. Films with aluminum contacts gave the smallest resistivity, best ohmicity and they are slightly affected by light as required. On the other hand, copper was found to be the worst, and films with copper contacts gave the largest resistivity, worst ohmicity and they are the most affected by light. Annealing improved the aluminum contacts due to alloying and doping.

Visco-Elastic Boundary Layer Flow past a Stretching Plate and Heat Transfer with Variable Thermal Conductivity

In the present paper, the boundary layer flow of Walters Liquid B Model over a stretching plate has been considered to solve heat flow problem with variable conductivity. First, using similarity transformation, the velocity components of velocity have been obtained. Then, the heat flow problem has been considered in two ways: 1) prescribed surface temperature (PST), and 2) prescribed stretching plate heat flux (PHF) in case of variable conductivity. Due to variable conductivity, temperature profile has its two part- one mean tempera-ture and other temperature profile induced due to variable conductivity. The related results have been dis-cussed with the help of graphs.
