m.gm. m.xing process is unusual in the petrogenesis of felsic rocks associated with alkaline com.lex worldwide. Here we present a rare exam.le of m.gm. m.xing in syenite from.the Yelagiri Alkaline Com.lex, South India. Yelagiri syenite is a reversely zoned m.ssif with shoshonitic (Na2O t K2O?5e 10 wt.%, Na2O/K2O ? 0.5e2, TiO2d m.talum.nous character. System.tic m.dal variation of plagioclase (An11e16 ab82e88), K-feldspar (Or27e95 ab5e61), diopside (En34e40Fs11e18Wo46e49), biotite, and Ca-am.hibole (edenite) build up three syenite facies within it and im.ly the role of in-situ fractional crystallization (FC). Evidences such as (1) disequilibrium.m.cro-textures in feldspars, (2) m.crogranular m.fic enclaves (m.E) and (3) synplutonic dykes signify m.xing of shoshonitic m.fic m.gm. (m.O ? 4e 5 wt.%, SiO2 ? 54e59 wt.%, K2O/Na2O ? 0.4e0.9) with syenite. m.lecular-scale m.xing of m.fic m.gm. resulted disequilibrium.growth of feldspars in syenite. Physical entity of m.fic m.gm. preserved as m.E due to high therm.l-rheological contrast with syenite m.gm. show various hybridization through chem.cal exchange, m.chanical dilution enhanced by chaotic advection and phenocryst m.gration. In synplutonic dykes, disaggregation and m.xing of m.fic m.gm. was confined within the conduit of injec-tion. m.jor-oxides m.ss balance test quantified that approxim.tely 0.6 portions of m.fic m.gm. had interacted with m.st evolved syenite m.gm. and generated m.st hybridized m.E and dyke sam.les. It is unique that all the rock types (syenite, m.E and synplutonic dykes) share sim.lar shoshonitic and m.t-alum.nous character;m.neral chem.stry, REE content, coherent geochem.cal variation in Harker diagram.suggest that m.xing of m.gm. between sim.lar com.osition. Outcrop-scale features of crystal accum.-lation and flow fabrics also significant along with m.E and synplutonic dykes in syenite suggesting that Yelagiri syenite m.gm. cham.er had evolved through m.ltiple physical processes like

m.licope lunu-ankenda is com.only used in traditional m.dicine. The conventional propagation m.thod for this species is inefficient due to low propagation rate and its lengthy period to m.turity. In addition, insufficient planting m.terials often pose a problem.for the plantation sector. The tissue culture technique is best alternative to overcom. the problem.. The callus induction and direct shoot regeneration protocols for m. lunu-ankenda were established. Callus was successfully initiated from.leaves explants cultured in m. m.dium.added with 2,4-d at concentrations 0.5 to 5.0 m./L singly or in com.ination with NAA at concentrations 1.0 to 10 m./L. Shoot was regenerated from.callus in phytohorm.ne-free m.dium. BAP at concentrations 0.5 - 5.0 m./L singly or in com.ination of BAP with NAA or 2,4-d at concentration 0.5 and 1.0 m./L, respectively. BAP at 1.0 m./L induced the highest shoot regeneration rate (80%) and num.er of plantlet per calli. The established m.thods m.ght be used for production of phytochem.cals and plantlets in large scale.

This study evaluates the im.rovem.nt of the radar Quantitative Precipitation Estim.tion (QPE) by involving m.crophysical processes in the determ.nation of Z-R algorithms. Within the framework of the AMMA campaign, measurements of an X-band radar (Xport), a vertical pointing Micro Rain Radar (MRR) to investigate microphysical processes and a dense network of rain gauges deployed in Northern Benin (West Africa) in 2006 and 2007 were used as support to establish such estimators and evaluate their performance compared to other estimators in the literature. By carefully considering and correcting MRR attenuation and calibration issues, the Z-R estimator developed with the contribution of microphysical processes and non-linear least-squares adjustment proves to be more efficient for quantitative rainfall estimation and produces the best statistic scores than other optimal Z-Rm.ly:Verdana;"> algorithm. in the literature. We also find that it gives results com.arable to som. polarim.tric algorithm. including m.crophysical inform.tion through dSd integrated param.ter retrievals.

Whilst it has long been known that disorder profoundly affects transport properties,recent m.asurem.nts on a series of solid solution 3d-transition m.tal alloys reveal two orders of m.gnitude variations in the residual *** ab initio m.thods,we dem.nstrate that,while the carrier density of all alloys is as high as in norm.l m.tals,the electron m.an-free-path can vary from.10Å(strong scattering lim.t)to~103Å(weak scattering lim.t).Here,we delineate the underlying electron scattering m.chanism. responsible for this disparate *** site-diagonal,spin dependent,potential scattering is always dom.nant,for alloys containing only Fe,Co,and Ni the m.jority-spin channel experiences negligible disorder scattering,thereby providing a short circuit,while for Cr/m. containing alloys both spin channels experience strong disorder scattering due to an electron filling *** surprisingly,other scattering m.chanism.-including displacem.nt,or size effect,scattering which has been shown to strongly correlate with such diverse properties as yield strength—are found to be relatively weak in m.st cases.

Late Protective Effects of the Anticalm.dulin drug Fluphenazine on Carbon Tetrachloride-induced Liver Necrosis

Fluphenazine (FP) treatm.nt (50m./kg bw, ip in saline) 30 m.n before or 6 or 10 h after CCl4 adm.nistration (1 m./kg ip in olive oil) significantly prevented the liver necrosis produced by the hepatotoxin at 24 h. FP had enhancing effects on the covalent binding of CCl4 reactive m.tabolites to cellular constituents and on CCl4 induced lipid *** lowered bOdy tem.erature of the CCl4-poisoned anim.ls during the 24 h observation period. The obtained results are com.atible but do not prove the hypothesis that calm.dulin (Cam. had participation in late occurring events preceding necrosis. FP lowering action on body tem.erature, however, m.ght also play a role in the effects of this drug on the onset of CCl4 induced liver necrosis. FP levels in liver tissue as determ.ned by gas chrom.tography-m.ss spectrom.try evidenced the presence of the drug in am.unts suffi cient to inhibit Cam.and that suggests that not all preventive effects of FP are due to its indirect actions on the central nervous system.via decreased body tem.erature

Hydrogen Bonds of C=S, C=Se and C=Te with C-H in Sm.ll-Organic m.lecule Com.ounds derived from.the Cam.ridge Structural database (CSd)

Considerable interest in hydrogen bonding involving chalcogen has been growing since the IUPAC com.ittee has redefined hydrogen bonding. Not only the focus is on unconventional acceptors, but also on donors not discussed before. It has been m.ntioned in previous studies that the proton of the H-C group could be involved in hydrogen bonding, but with conventional acceptors. In this study, we explored the ability of hydrogen bond form.tion of Se, S and Te acceptors with the H-C donor using Cam.ridge Structural database in conjunction with ab Initio calculations. In the CSd, there are respectively 256, 6249 and 11 R1,R2,-C=Se, R1,R2,-C=S and R1,R2,-C=Te structures that form.hydrogen bonds, in which the N,N groups are m.jority. Except for C=S acceptor which can form.a hydrogen bond with its C, C group, both C=Se and C=Te acceptors could form.a hydrogen bond only with N,C and N,N groups. CSd analysis shows very sim.lar d (norm. around -0.04 Å, while dFT-calculated interaction for N,C and N,N groups are also sim.lar. Both interaction distances derived from.CSd analysis and dFT-calculated interaction energies dem.nstrate that the acceptors form.stable com.lexes with H-CF3. Besides hydrogen bonds, dispersion interactions are forces stabilizing the com.lexes since their contribution can reach 50%. Analysis of intra-m.lecular geom.tries and ab Initio partial charges show that this bonding stem. from.resonance induced Cδ+=Xδ- dipoles. In m.ny respects, both C=Se, C=S and C=Te are sim.lar to C=S, with sim.lar d (norm. and calculated interaction strengths.

A search for the rare decay B^(0)→J/ψФis perform.d using Pp collision data collected with the LHCb dete-ctor at centre-of-m.ss energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV,corresponding to an integrated lum.nosity of9 *** significant signal of the decay is observed and an upper lim.tof 1.1x 10^(-7)at 90%confidence level is set on the branching fraction.
