Micro-expressions(ME)recognition is a complex task that requires advanced techniques to extract informative features fromfacial *** deep neural networks(DNNs)with convolutional structures have been ***,unlike DNNs,shallow convolutional neural networks often outperform deeper models in mitigating overfitting,particularly with small ***,many of these methods rely on a single feature for recognition,resulting in an insufficient ability to extract highly effective *** address this limitation,in this paper,an Improved Dual-stream Shallow Convolutional Neural Network based on an Extreme Gradient Boosting Algorithm(IDSSCNN-XgBoost)is introduced for ME *** proposed method utilizes a dual-stream architecture where motion vectors(temporal features)are extracted using Optical Flow TV-L1 and amplify subtle changes(spatial features)via EulerianVideoMagnification(EVM).These features are processed by IDSSCNN,with an attention mechanism applied to refine the extracted effective *** outputs are then fused,concatenated,and classified using the XgBoost *** comprehensive approach significantly improves recognition accuracy by leveraging the strengths of both temporal and spatial information,supported by the robust classification power of *** proposed method is evaluated on three publicly available ME databases named Chinese Academy of Sciences Micro-expression Database(CASMEII),Spontaneous Micro-Expression Database(SMICHS),and Spontaneous Actions and Micro-Movements(SAMM).Experimental results indicate that the proposed model can achieve outstanding results compared to recent *** accuracy results are 79.01%,69.22%,and 68.99%on CASMEII,SMIC-HS,and SAMM,and the F1-score are 75.47%,68.91%,and 63.84%,*** proposed method has the advantage of operational efficiency and less computational time.

The thermal nanofluids have garnered widespread attention for their use in multiple thermal systems, including heating processes, sustainable energy, and nuclear reactions. Research on nanofluids has revealed that the thermal efficiencies of such materials are adversely affected by various thermal features. The purpose of the current work is to demonstrate the thermal analysis of Jeffrey nanofluids with the suspension of microorganisms in the presence of variable thermal sources. The variable effects of thermal conductivity, Brownian diffusivity, and motile density are utilized. The investigated model also reveals the contributions of radiation phenomena and chemical reactions. A porous, saturated, moving surface with a suction phenomenon promotes flow. The modeling of the problem is based on the implementation of the Cattaneo-Christov *** convective thermal constraints are used to promote the heat transfer features. A simplified form of the governing model is treated with the assistance of a shooting technique. The physical effects of different parameters for the problem are presented. The current problem justifies its applications in heat transfer, coating processes, heat exchangers, cooling systems in microelectronics, solar systems, chemical processes, etc.

The analysis of blood cells in microscope images can provide useful information concerning the health of *** are three major blood cell types,namely,erythrocytes (red),leukocytes (white),and *** classification is time consuming and suscep- tible to error due to the different morphological features of the *** paper presents an intelligent system that simulates a human visual inspection and classification of the three blood cell *** proposed system comprises two phases:The image preprocessing phase where blood cell features are extracted via global pattern averaging,and the neural network arbitration phase where training is the first and then classification is carried *** results suggest that the proposed method performs well in identifying blood cell types regardless of their irregular shapes,sizes and orientation,thus providing a fast,simple and efficient rotational and scale invariant blood cell identification system which can be used in automating laboratory reporting.

This study presents enhancing images authentication by securing watermarking hidden data via shares generated from counting-based secret *** trustfulness of shares utilised secret-sharing as an applicable privacy creation tool for the authentication of real-life complex *** research adjusts embedding the watermarking data over the images by innovative redistribution of shares to be embedded spread over all the *** anticipated watermarking technique guaranteed to scatter the share bits implanting at different least significant bits of image pixels as boosting up the trust overall authentication *** paper experimentation performance analysis shows that this improved image watermarking authentication(capacity)is averagely better by 33%–67%than other related exclusive-OR oriented and octagon ***,these measurement improvements did not degrade the robustness and security of the system,inspiring our research for opening novel track of related future counting-based secret-sharing authentication progresses to come.

Silicon solar cells continue to dominate the market,due to the abundance of silicon and their acceptable *** heterojunction with intrinsic thin layer(HIT)structure is now the dominant *** the efficiency of these cells could expand the development choices for HIT solar *** presented a detailed investigation of the emitter a-Si:H(n)lay-er of a p-type bifacial HIT solar cell in terms of characteristic parameters which include layer doping concentration,thickness,band gap width,electron affinity,hole mobility,and so *** cell composition:(ZnO/nc-Si:H(n)/a-Si:H(i)/c-Si(p)/a-Si:H(i)/nc-Si:H(p)/ZnO).The results reveal optimal values for the investigated parameters,for which the highest computed efficiency is 26.45%when lighted from the top only and 21.21%when illuminated from the back only.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is one of the most prevalent causes of chronic liver disease *** the last decade it has become the third most common indication for liver transplantation in the United *** prevalence of NAFLD in the general population also poses a risk to organ donation,as allograft steatosis can be associated with non-function of the ***-transplant survival is comparable between NAFLD and non-NAFLD causes of liver disease,although long term outcomes beyond 10 year are *** can recur in the allograft frequently although thus far post transplant survival has not been *** novo NAFLD can also occur in the allograft of patients transplanted for non-NAFLD liver *** for NAFLD post-transplant recurrence include obesity,hyperlipidemia and diabetes as well as steroid dose after liver transplantation.A polymorphism in PNPLA3 that mediates triglyceride hydrolysis and is linked to pre-transplant risk of obesity and NAFLD has also been linked to post transplant NAFLD *** immunosuppression side effects potentiate obesity and the metabolic syndrome,studies of immunosuppression modulation and trials of specific immunosuppression regimens post-transplant are lacking in this patient *** on pre-transplant data,sustained weight loss through diet and exercise is the most effective therapy for *** agents occasionally utilized in NAFLD prior to transplantation include vitamin E and insulin-sensitizing *** of these therapies are lacking in the post-transplant population.A multimodality and multidisciplinary approach to treatment should be utilized in management of post-transplant NAFLD.

Mesoscale bubbles exist inherently in bubbling fluidized beds and hence should be considered in the constitutive modeling of the drag *** energy minimization multiscale bubbling(EMMS/bubbling)drag model takes the effects of mesoscale structures(i.e.,bubbles)into the modeling of drag coefficient and thus improves the coarse-grid simulation of bubbling and turbulent fluidized ***,its dependence on the bubble diameter correlation has not been thoroughly *** hydrodynamic disparity between homogeneous and heterogeneous fluidization is accounted for by the heterogeneity index,H_(d),which can be affected by choice of bubble diameter *** this choice of bubble diameter correlation influences the model prediction calls for further fundamental *** article incorporated seven different bubble diameter correlations into EMMS/bubbling drag model and studied their effects on H_(d).The performance of these correlations has been compared with the correlation used previously by EMMS/bubbling drag *** found that some of the correlations predicted lower Hd by order of a magnitude than the correlation used by the original EMMS/bubbling *** on such analysis,we proposed a modification in the EMMS drag model for bubbling and turbulent fluidized beds.A computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation using two-fluid model with the modified EMMS/bubbling drag model was performed for two bubbling and one turbulent fluidized *** distribution,time averaged solid concentration and axial solid concentration profiles were studied and compared with the previous version of the EMMS/bubbling drag model and experimental *** found that the right choice of bubble diameter correlations can significantly improve the results for CFD simulations.
