Skin cancer(melanoma)is one of the most aggressive of the cancers and the prevalence has significantly increased due to increased exposure to ultraviolet ***,timely detection and management of the lesion is a critical consideration in order to improve lifestyle and reduce *** this end,we have designed,implemented and analyzed a hybrid approach entailing convolutional neural networks(CNN)and local binary patterns(LBP).The experiments have been performed on publicly accessible datasets ISIC 2017,2018 and 2019(HAM10000)with data augmentation for in-distribution *** a novel contribution,the CNN architecture is enhanced with an intelligible layer,LBP,that extracts the pertinent visual *** of Basal Cell Carcinoma,Actinic Keratosis,Melanoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma has been evaluated on 8035 and 3494 cases for training and testing,*** outcomes with cross-validation depict a plausible performance with an average accuracy of 97.29%,sensitivity of 95.63%and specificity of 97.90%.Hence,the proposed approach can be used in research and clinical settings to provide second opinions,closely approximating experts’intuition.

A novel test structure to characterize the fracture strength of MEMS(Micro-electro-Mechanical Systems)thin films is *** test structure is comprised of a micro fabricated chevron-shaped thermal actuator and test *** test structure is capable of producing large displacement and stresswhile keeping a relatively low temperature gradient across the test specimen.A voltage is applied across the beams of the chevron-shaped actuator,producing thermal expansion force to fracture the test *** deflection is computed based on elastic analysis of *** verify the test structure,simulations have been implemented using COMSOL Multiphysics.A 620μmlong,410μm wide,10μm thick test structure produced stress of 7.1 GPawhile the applied voltage is 5 *** results indicate that the test structure is suitable for in-situ measurement of the fracture strength of MEMS thin films.

AIM:To determine antibiotic resistance of Helicobacter pylori(***) in Pakistan and its correlation with host and pathogen associated ***:A total of 178 strains of *** were isolated from gastric biopsies of dyspeptic *** patterns against first and second-line antibiotics were determined and trends of resistance were analyzed in relation to the sampling period,gastric conditions and cagA gene *** effect of cagA gene on the acquisition of resistance was investigated by mutant selection ***:The observations showed that monoresistant strains were prevalent with rates of 89% for metronidazole,36% for clarithromycin,37% for amoxicillin,18.5% for ofloxacin and 12% for ***,clarithromycin resistance was on the rise from 2005 to 2008(32% vs 38%,P = 0.004) and it is significantly observed in non ulcerative dyspeptic patients compared to gastritis,gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer cases(53% vs 20%,18% and 19%,P = 0.000).On the contrary,metronidazole and ofloxacin resistance were more common in gastritis and gastric ulcer *** analysis and frequencies of resistant mutants in vitro correlated with the absence of cagA gene with metronidazole and ofloxacin ***:The study confirms the alarming levels of antibiotic resistance associated with the degree of gastric inflammation and cagA gene carriage in *** strains.

Brain magnetic resonance images(MRI)are used to diagnose the different diseases of the brain,such as swelling and tumor *** quality of the brain MR images is degraded by different noises,usually salt&pepper and Gaussian noises,which are added to the MR images during the acquisition *** the presence of these noises,medical experts are facing problems in diagnosing diseases from noisy brain MR ***,we have proposed a de-noising method by mixing concatenation,and residual deep learning techniques called the MCR de-noising *** proposed MCR method is to eliminate salt&pepper and gaussian noises as much as possible from the brain MRI *** MCR method has been trained and tested on the noise quantity levels 2%to 20%for both salt&pepper and gaussian *** experiments have been done on publically available brain MRI image datasets,which can easily be accessible in the experiments and result *** Structure Similarity Index Measure(SSIM)and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR)calculate the similarity score between the denoised images by the proposed MCR method and the original clean ***,the Mean Squared Error(MSE)measures the error or difference between generated denoised and the original *** proposed MCR denoising method has a 0.9763 SSIM score,84.3182 PSNR,and 0.0004 MSE for salt&pepper noise;similarly,0.7402 SSIM score,72.7601 PSNR,and 0.0041 MSE for Gaussian noise at the highest level of 20%*** the end,we have compared the MCR method with the state-of-the-art de-noising filters such as median and wiener de-noising filters.

Globally about half of the world’s population is under micronutrient malnutrition due to poor quality food *** overcome this problem,fortification and biofortification techniques are often *** is considered a better option than fortification due to the easy control of nutrient deficiencies present in daily *** field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of foliar application of a micronutrient mixture(MNM)consisting of zinc(Zn),iron(Fe),copper(Cu),manganese(Mn)and boron(B)on yield and flour quality of *** results show the effectiveness of foliar feeding for growth and yield parameters,in addition to the enriching of wheat grains with Zn,Cu,Fe,Mn and *** to the control without foliar feeding,foliar application on wheat crop increased tillering ability,spike length,grain yield and the contents of Zn,Cu,Mn,Fe and B by 21,47,22,22 and 25%in wheat flour,***,foliar feeding of micronutrients could be an effective approach to enrich wheat grains with essential nutrients for correcting malnutrition.

Artificial intelligence(AI)is expanding its roots in medical *** acute and chronic diseases can be identified accurately at the initial level by using AI methods to prevent the progression of health *** diseases are producing a high impact on global health and medical practitioners are suggested that the diagnosis at earlier stages is one of the foremost approaches to avert chronic kidney disease and renal *** blood pressure,diabetes mellitus,and glomerulonephritis are the root causes of kidney ***,the present study is proposed a set of multiple techniques such as simulation,modeling,and optimization of intelligent kidney disease prediction(SMOIKD)which is based on computational intelligence ***,seven parameters were used for the fuzzy logic system(FLS),and then twenty-five different attributes of the kidney dataset were used for the artificial neural network(ANN)and deep extreme machine learning(DEML).The expert system was proposed with the assistance of medical *** the quick and accurate evaluation of the proposed system,Matlab version 2019 was *** proposed SMOIKD-FLSANN-DEML expert system has shown 94.16%*** this study concluded that SMOIKD-FLS-ANN-DEML system is effective to accurately diagnose kidney disease at initial levels.

本文介绍了可再生能源(RERs),特别是风能和太阳能,在由共享设施运营商(SFO),住宅区(RB)/家庭用户(HU)和主电网组成的智能社区的能源管理方案中最大利用。该系统适用于人口稠密的城市,高层建筑可以配备太阳能光伏板为建筑中的共用设施(电梯,灯,安全摄像头,水泵等)运行供电,更重要的是,它适用于停电问题严重的地方以及可以利用风能补充太阳能的智能房区,使得此系统在一整天内都能有效运行。在这方面,在智能社区,SFO拥有可再生能源(风能和太阳能)和家庭用户(在屋顶安装太阳能光伏板)能够满足他们的能源需求并相互交易。该系统由三个伙伴(SFO,HU和电网)组成,而不是传统的两个实体,即用户和电网。为SFO和RB提出了一个系统,考虑到他们的需求,他们可以决定是否必须向/从其他合作伙伴出售/购买能源。此外,引入SFO的电池储能系统BESS,以提高系统可靠性并降低最佳成本。SFO负载是关键的(不能脱落),用户的负载分为临界负载和柔性负载(通过调度电力实现成本最小化)。实时能源管理计划旨在最大限度地利用可再生能源,并最大限度地降低SFO和住宅用户的总运营成本。拟议的方案是通过保持可再生能源发电,各种负荷,电价,电池充电/放电以及特定时段的充电状态SOC的知识来制定的,该模型可以预测未来的成本。使用实时算法,该算法考虑社区中的不同共享设施和拥有随机选择的设备的四个家庭用户,以获得SFO和HU的最佳成本。选择具有不同的太阳能容量的家庭用户和一个没有安装任何太阳能电池组件的对比用户,检查对该用户的影响。数值结果表明了该模型的有效性。SFO和用户从方案中获得了巨大的利益。SFO和HU的成本降低分别为8.7%和27.3%。
