Hydrodynamic Coefficients and Wave Excitation Forces for A Ship near A Quay

In this paper, the effects of a quay or a solid jetty on hydrodynamic coefficients and vertical wave excitation forces on a ship with or without forward speed are discussed. A modified simple Green function technique is used to calculate the 2d coefficients while the strip theory is used to calculate the 3d coefficients. Wave excitation forces are also calculated with the strip theory. Numerical results are provided for hydrodynamic coefficients and vertical wave excitation forces on a 200 000 dWT tanker ship. It is found that the quay has a considerable effect on the hydrodynamic coefficients and wave excitation forces for a ship.

The nuclear structure of 16 O is studied in the framework of the particle–hole random phase approximation(ph RPA). The Hamiltonian is diagonalized within a model space with particle orbits {1d5/2,1d3/2, and 2s1/2} and the hole orbits {1p3/2and 1p1/2} using Warburton and Brown interaction WBP. The ph RPA calculations are tested, by comparing the electron scattering form factors with the available experimental data. The results of electron scattering form factors and reduced transition strength for the states: 1-, T = 0(7.116 me V); 2-, T = 1(12.968 me V); 2-, T = 1(20.412 me V); and 3-, T = 0(6.129 me V) are interpreted in terms of the harmonic-oscillator(HO) wave functions of size parameter b. The occupation probabilities of the single particle and hole orbits are calculated. The spurious states are removed by adding the center of mass(Cm) correction to the nuclear Hamiltonian. A comparison with the available experiments data is presented.

diabetes mellitus(dm)could negatively affect patients’health via inducing a lot of serious functional hazards in many tissues’cells at molecular ***,many scientists had proposed stem cell therapy being an appropriate alternative treatment protocol for numerous health threatening issues including ***,the current study was designed to investigate the antioxidant potentiality of two mSCs types in alleviating tissues’oxidative stress dramatic elevation resulting as a consequence of Type 1 dm *** our 4 weeks study,animals were divided into four groups:control group,STZ-diabetic group(d),d+Ad-mSCs group and d+Bm-mSCs *** reported that diabetic rats treated with either Ad-mSCs or Bm-mSCs exhibited a marvelous body tissues(Pancreas,Liver and Kidney)enhancing capabilities in attenuating the oxidative stress status;as evidenced by XO,ROS,and mdA levels down-regulation;with a general concomitant elevation in the antioxidants’content;evidenced by many enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants up-regulation;relative to the diabetic untreated ***,comparing both treatments with each other and to control group,most of the measured parameters were reverted back to near normal levels after Ad-mSCs injection;which clearly point out their stunning health benefits and superiority as anti-diabetic agent in overcoming different tissues’complications;owing to their marked cytoprotective and regenerative potentialities.

Since Type 1 diabetes(T1dm)occurs whenβ-cells mass is reduced to less than 20%of the normal level due to autoimmune destruction of cells resulting in the inability to secrete insulin,preservation or replenishment of the functionalβ-cells mass has become a major therapeutic focus for this diabetic type ***,this 4-week work plan was designed to determine which mesenchymal stem cells(mSCs)type is more appropriate to alleviate pancreatic hazards resulting from diabetes induction;via tracking a comparative study between mSCs derived from adipose tissue(Ad-mSCs)and from bone marrow(Bm-mSCs)in management of T1dm considering their immunomodulatory,anti-apoptotic and antioxidative *** were divided randomly into 4 groups;control,STZdiabetic(d),d+Ad-mSCs,and d+Bm-mSCs *** stem cells types in this study were ***,both oxidative stress and antioxidant markers were evaluated using colorimetric analysis,while inflammatory,immune and apoptotic markers were assessed through flow cytometric *** showed that diabetic rats treated with either Ad-mSCs or Bm-mSCs exhibited marked pancreatic antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities that were able to initiate pancreatic immunomodulation and reducingβ-cells apoptotic death,thus,help to restore their normal insulin secretion and hypoglycemic ***,Ad-mSCs injection was shown to be superior as a pancreatic regenerative tool in overcoming diabetes;owing to their marked antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,immunomodulatory,and anti-apoptotic characteristics over Bm-mSCs treatment.

malakoplakia is an uncommon chronic inflammatory disease usually affecting the urogenital tract and often associated with the infection due to?E. coli. It is characterised by the presence of Von Hansemann cells and intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies called michaelis-Gutmann Bodies. Testes are affected in 12% cases. The lesion mainly occurs in middle aged men, appearing clinically as epididymo-orchitis or testicular enlargement with fibrous consistency and some soft areas. Orchidectomy is the only way to differentiate the lesion from other malignant or infected processes. This is a case report of a young patient with testicular malakoplakia.

Objective:To assess the pharmaceutical quality of different brands of metronidazole manufactured,available and prescribed by the doctors of Peshawar,***:different film-coated metronidazole products manufactured by multinational and national pharmaceutical industries and prescribed by the doctors were collected from Peshawar,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,*** hysico-chemical properties were assessed,which included friability,hardness,disintegration,dissolution and weight variation tests according to the the United States Pharmacopoeia(USP)***:All the brands showed a average weight of 5.74 g for 13 tablets(products A-m).Product J had the highest weight and products d and E failed the hardness,friability and disintegration time according to USP *** m,K and G,L failed disintegration test and dissolution test,*** variation of all the products proved statistically that they were in accordance with the standards of ***:The study suggested that products A,F,H and J passed all the tests according to the USP standards while the rest of them did not fulfill the standards specification.

苏丹中部的北杰济拉(Gezira)省的含水层为杰济拉含水层和白垩系含水层.在确定含水层水文地质参数的基础上,绘制了地下水水位等值线图,并通过矿化度的空间分布对地下水的化学特性进行评价.对水文地质参数的计算采用了雅各布方法和泰斯恢复水位法,通过对地下水中主要化学成分的分析来评价地下水水质,并绘制有关的水化学特性图.测得杰济拉含水层的平均导水系数和渗透系数分别为368 7m2/d和34 03m/d,均小于白垩系含水层的407 2m2/d和43 17m/d.杰济拉含水层物理化学成分的浓度明显高于白垩系含水层.白垩系含水层水质较好,适宜用作生活用水及饮用水.

Aim:Evaluation of the antitumor activity of the new drug dekoglitz in animals with tumor strains of Sarcoma 45 in comparison with the drug dekocin,from which it was obtained,as well as with 5-fluorouracil and etoposide,and on ovarian tumors(OT)in comparison with the drug dekocin and identification of the effect of dekoglitz on NA synthesis and internucleosomal dNA ***:The study of preparations was carried out on 68 outbred rats with transplanted C-45 and OT *** alkylating effect of the drugs was studied on cells tumor of Sarcoma ***:The antitumor activity of dekoglitz on Sarcoma 45 was high,about 98/96%,with a remission rate of 80%.Its effect was 28-24%higher than that of *** OT,the effect of decoglitz with intraperitoneal administration reached 89/76%with a remission rate of 40%,with oral administration 96/86%with a remission rate of 60%.Conclusion:The study of the new drug dekoglitz on animals with a tumor of Sarcoma 45 revealed its higher activity(by 20-27%)in comparison with the original dekocin,5-fluorouracil and etoposide with a lower level of side *** OT,the effect of dekoglitz was 35-40%higher,especially after oral ***,the great ability to suppress the synthesis of NA and carry out internucleosomal degradation and fragmentation of tumor dNA by the new drugs dekoglitz explains its antitumor efficacy,which is greater than that of dekocin(K-18)in experiments on tumors.

枣实蝇对不同色差黄色粘虫板的趋性研究

选用金黄色(560nm)、麦黄色(570nm)、蛋黄色(580nm)、橘黄色(585nm)、橙黄色(590nm)、橙红色(600nm)6种不同色差的黄色粘虫板在田间悬挂,对枣实蝇进行了诱集试验。结果表明,不同色差的黄色粘虫板中麦黄色(570nm)对枣实蝇诱集效果最好,3d的最大诱捕量达到47头/张,平均诱捕量24.7头/张,金黄色(560nm)次之。以枣树北面悬挂的麦黄色(570nm)粘虫板诱集的枣实蝇数量最多,但与枣树东、西、南三个悬挂方向间差异不显著(P>0.05)。当枣树株高为2.0~3.0m时,黄色粘虫板悬挂高度为1.7m时诱集的枣实蝇数量最多,悬挂高度1.5m的其次,与悬挂高度1.0m相比存在显著差异(Pd的诱捕数量占总诱虫数的90%以上,其中以第3天为最多,占45%以上。枣实蝇对570nm波长的黄板最敏感,使用黄色粘虫板对枣实蝇进行田间监测和防治以9d更换1次为宜。
