Internet of Things (IoT) a.ong of a.l the technology revolutions ha. been considered the next evolution of the internet. IoT ha. become a.fa. more popula. a.ea.in the computing world. IoT combined a.huge number of things (devices) tha. ca. be connected through the internet. The purpose: this pa.er a.ms to explore the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) genera.ly a.d outline the ma.n definitions of IoT. The pa.er a.so a.ms to exa.ine a.d discuss the obsta.les a.d potentia. benefits of IoT in Sa.di universities. Methodology: the resea.chers reviewed the previous litera.ure a.d focused on severa. da.a.a.es to use the recent studies a.d resea.ch rela.ed to the IoT. Then, the resea.chers a.so used qua.tita.ive methodology to exa.ine the fa.tors a.fecting the obsta.les a.d potentia. benefits of IoT. The da.a.were collected by using a.questionna.re distributed online a.ong a.a.emic sta.f a.d a.tota. of 150 pa.ticipa.ts completed the survey. Finding: the result of this study revea.s there a.e twelve fa.tors tha. a.fect the potentia. benefits of using IoT such a. reducing huma. errors, increa.ing business income a.d worker’s productivity. a.va.ced oxida.ion technologies a.e a.friendly environmenta. a.proa.h for the remedia.ion of industria. wa.tewa.ers. Here, one pot synthesis of mesoporous WO3 a.d WO3-gra.hene oxide（GO） na.ocomposites ha. been performed through the sol–gel method. Then, pla.inum（Pt） na.opa.ticles were deposited onto the WO3 a.d WO3-GO na.ocomposite through photochemica. reduction to produce mesoporous Pt/WO3 a.d Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites. X-ra. diffra.tion（XRD） findings exhibit a.forma.ion of monoclinic a.d triclinic WO3 pha.es. Tra.smission Electron Microscope（TEM） ima.es of Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites exhibited tha. WO3 na.opa.ticles a.e obviously a.glomera.ed a.d the pa.ticle sizes of Pt a.d WO3 a.e ~ 10 nm a.d 20–50 nm, respectively. The mesoporous Pt/WO3 a.d Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites were a.sessed for photoca.a.ytic degra.a.ion of Methylene Blue（MB） a. a.probe molecule under visible light *** findings showed tha. mesoporous Pt/WO3, WO3-GO a.d Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites exhibited much higher photoca.a.ytic efficiencies tha. the pure WO3. The photodegra.a.ion ra.es by mesoporous Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites a.e 3, 2 a.d 1.15 times grea.er tha. those by mesoporous WO3, WO3-GO, a.d Pt/WO3, respectively. The key fa.tors of the enha.ced photoca.a.ytic performa.ce of Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites could be expla.ned by the highly freedom electron tra.sfer through the synergetic effect between WO3 a.d GO sheets, in a.dition to the Pt na.opa.ticles tha. a.t a. a.tive sites for O2 reduction, which suppresses the electron hole pa.r recombina.ion in the Pt/WO3-GO na.ocomposites.
