The increased valorization of renewable and cost-effective lignocellulosic feedstocks represents a viable,sustainable,and eco-friendly approach toward the production of biopellets as alternative energy *** aim of this research work was to investigate and evaluate the feasibility of using various lignocellulosic raw materials,i.e.,raru(Cotylelobium melanoxylon),mangrove(Rhizophora spp.),sengon(Paraserianthes falcataria),kemenyan toba(styrax sumatrana),oil palm(elaeis guineensis),manau rattan(Calamus manan),and belangke bamboo(Gigantochloa pruriens)for manufacturing biopellets with different particle *** raw materials used were tes.e. for their moisture content,s.e.ific gravity,ash,cellulose,and lignin *** addition,thermal analyses,i.e.,calorific values,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and differential scanning calorimetry(DsC),were *** following properties of the biopellets produced were investigated:moisture content,volatile matter,ash content,fixed carbon,density,and thermal *** on an analysis of the raw materials,raru had the lowest moisture content(12%)and ash content(1.5%)and the highest s.e.ific gravity(1.2).Markedly,palm oil s.e. had the highestα-cellulose(55%)and lignin(37%)*** accordance with the sNI 8675:2018 standard requirements,biopellets with optimal properties(moisture content of 1.4%,ash content of 0.79%,density of 1.09 g/m^(3),calorific value of 4672 cal/g,and TGA residue of 13.9%),were manufactured from raru wood.

Determinants of Online Buying Behaviour of social Media Users in Cameroon

Online shopping in Cameroon is growing rapidly and gaining considerable *** phenomenon is relatively new as compared to the traditional brick-and-mortar store(serving customers face-to-face in a building rather than online).As the world faces digital transformations,busines.e. in Cameroon are s.e.ing new ways to reach their customers and create favourable environments to effectively carryout online *** study examines the factors that affect consumer online buying behaviour in *** theories guided this investigation:the Technology Acceptance Model(Davis,1989),Diffusion of Innovations Theory(Rogers,1995),and Uses and Gratifications Theory(Katz&Blumler,1974).The study focuses on students of the University of Buea who carry out online *** sampling is used,and data are collected from 365 respondents through a questionnaire with open and closed ended *** of data is done with the use of the statistical Package for social scientists(sPss)Version 21 to determine the types of products consumers buy online;the degree to which consumer trust and satisfaction affect consumer loyalty;and the s.e.ific social,economic,and market factors that affect online buying *** indicate that:Consumers mostly buy fashion items(74.3%),electronics(44.7%),cos.e.ics(37.3%),and house equipment(34%)*** will repeat purchase from a marketer if they trust and are satisfied with the product and service quality(81.1%);hence,they will also encourage others to *** they are dissatisfied,they will not repeat purchase from the online ***(76.1%),attractive pricing/discount(71.7%),product quality(71%),service quality(64.1%),convenience(72.3%),available income/money(49.6%),word of mouth recommendation(41.9%),and personal motivation(62.7%)constitute the major factors that affect consumer online buying *** of the hypotheses testing show that:H1=Consumers buy more of fashion items online(X^(2)=9.950;

synthesis and characterization of lanthanum-doped yttrium iro n garnet(YIG)in the compositional se ries of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)(x=0.0,0.1,0.3,and 0.5)were carried *** compositions were made.by using solid state reaction method with ball-milling *** phase formation,surface morphology,magnetic properties,and microwave absorbing ability of all compositions were characterized by using an X-ray diffractometer,a scanning electron microscope,a vibrating sample magnetometer,and a Vector network *** results reveal that all compositions are crystallized into Y_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12)phase(space group la-3d(230).It was observed that the lattice constant is increased from 1.2373 to 1.2421 nm with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=*** crystallite size of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)series calculated by scherrer method is found to decrease from 78 nm in x=0.0-63 nm in x=*** particle size distribution from the surface morphology image analysis is shifted to lower-range number with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=0.0 to *** substitution process also affects the lattice distortion in La-doped samples and changes the bond angles and bond lengths of the YIG *** the results,a linear correlation between the Fe'-O-Fe bond angle with magnetic properties parameters of saturation magnetization(M_(s))and remanence magnetization(M_(r))was *** to the lanthanum substitution process,all La^(3+)-doped samples pos.e.s higher M_(s)and M_(r)values compared to the original *** results of Vector network analyzer show that the improvement of the M_(s)and M_(r)plays an important role in enhancing the microwave absorbing ability of the *** minimum RL changes from-8.22 dB(~85.22%microwave absorption)in x=0.0 to-14.21 dB(~96.25%microwave absorption)in x=*** enhancement is mainly ascribed to the natural magnetic resonance loss and dipoIe-polarization loss due to the substitution *** decr

目的:探讨m.4435A>G和YARs2 c.572G>T(p.G191V)突变在原发性高血压发生发展中的作用。方法:分析前期收集的高血压患者的线粒体基因组及外显子测序数据,对一例携带m.4435A>G和YARs2 p.G191V突变的原发性高血压患者的家系开展临床资料采集及分子遗传学检测,收集外周静脉血并构建永生化淋巴细胞系进行线粒体转移RNA(tRNA)、线粒体蛋白质、腺苷三磷酸(ATP)、线粒体膜电位(MMP)和细胞内活性氧检测。结果:线粒体全基因组测序结果显示,该家系中母系成员均携带高度保守的m.4435A>G突变,该突变影响线粒体tRNA的二级结构和折叠自由能并改变其稳定性,预测其将影响反密码子环结构。与对照组比较,携带m.4435A>G和YARs2 p.G191V突变的细胞株相关线粒体tRNA稳态水平、部分线粒体蛋白表达量、ATP产量和MMP水平下降,且活性氧水平升高,差异均有统计学意义(均Ps2 p.G191V突变通过影响线粒体tRNA稳态水平加重了m.4435A>G引起的线粒体翻译及线粒体功能改变,进一步导致细胞功能障碍,表明在本家系中YARs2 p.G191V与m.4435A>G突变存在协同作用,共同参与原发性高血压的发生发展。

In terms of planning as.e.t,nuclear power plant(NPP)development needs analyses,consideration,and right decision making due to multi criteria *** study prioritizes the best site development of Indonesian NPPs in terms of 21 social,economic,and technical pers.e.tives which comprise transmission network,oper-ating cost,economic impact,geology,geotechnic,seismology,population density,environment,cooling water,meteorology,hydrology,proximity to hazardous facilities,topography,land use,proximity to wetland,evacu-ation route,security,transportation network,legal consideration,impact of tourism,land ownership,historical places,and public acceptance,all identified to be considerations for the best *** Fuzzy algorithms(Chang’s.e.tent Analysis and Buckley’s Fuzzy AHP)were used to determine the criteria priorities as well as NPP site feasibility of two locations in *** results found that geology,geotechnic,and seismology(sA1);security(sO1),population density(sA2),environment(sA3),and cooling water(sA4)had the highest priorities among the 21 *** on the 5 top priority criteria,West Kalimantan and east Kalimantan provinces serve as the best candidates for the NPP *** an innovative and novel multi criteria Fuzzy AHP–based decision making(MCDM)approach has been proven to become a useful reference to select NPP sites in Indonesia.

Karst habitats are hotspots of diversity and endemism. Their naturally fragmented distributions across broad geographic landscapes have led to the complex array of smaller evolutionary ecosys.e.s that present unique challenges from a conservation *** as.e.s.e.ts of karst habitats have revealed that these ecosys.e.s contain an almost unparalleled level of endemism, and many site-restricted s.e.ies remain undescribed, thus posing considerable challenges for effective conservation *** rock-dwelling s.e.ies, such as geckos, may be particularly prone to such isolation. In this paper, we discuss one such genus, i.e.,Hemiphyllodactylus, and explore its diversity across karst landforms in Yunnan Province, southwes.e.n China. Based on morphological and genetic data, we describe two new s.e.ies of Hemiphyllodactylus from karst habitats in simao District and Yanshan County. A phylogenetic tree for Hemiphyllodactylus was constructed using 1?039 base pairs(bp) of the mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2 gene(ND2). The simao and Yanshan s.e.imens can be distinguis.e. from all other congeners within their res.e.tive subclade. based on uncorrected genetic pairwise distances greater than 6.3% and 4.3%res.e.tively, as well as significant morphological differences. The discovery and description of these two new s.e.ies brings the total number of described Hemiphyllodactylus s.e.ies in China to 14and indicates many more undescribed s.e.ies from unsurveyed karst regions await *** findings suggest that karst ecosys.e.s in Yunnan support a higher diversity of Hemiphyllodactylus than previously *** study also highlights the importance of karst ecosys.e.s as refugia for sites.e.ific endemic s.e.ies and the need for heightened conservation efforts.

The rising corruption levels in Indonesia are becoming a cause for concern and raise doubts about their impact on the stability of foreign aid in the ***,this study aims to predict the long-term viability of foreign aid in Indonesia based on international perceptions of corruption and corruption cases in the *** were obtained from World Governance Indicators,the Indonesian Ministry of Finance,and the World Bank,and the study used a backpropagation artificial neural network(ANN)for *** results from ANN are compared to linear models and vector autoregression(VAR).The finding shows that ANN outperforms the other models based on the coefficient of determination and Mse ***,it highlights the strong relationship between corruption perception and foreign aid sustainability with an R-value of *** to the ANN estimation,gratification has a significant impact on foreign *** response to this finding,the study recommends the Indonesian government take action to combat corruption in maintaining the international trust and ensuring the stability of foreign aid.

The design of heterostructured transition metal-based electrocatalysts with controlled composition and interfaces is key to increasing the efficiency of the water electrolysis and the elucidation of reaction *** this work,we report the synthesis of well-controlled vertically aligned Ni/NiO nanocomposites consisting of Ni nanoclus.e.s.e.bedded in NiO,which result in highly efficient electrocatalysts for overall water *** show that such a high catalytic efficiency toward both the hydrogen evolution reaction(HeR)and the oxygen evolution reaction(OeR)originates from a synergetic effect at Ni/NiO interfaces that significantly reduces the energy barrier for water dissociation,and favours the formation of reactive H*intermediates on the Ni side of the interface,and OH_(ads) on the NiO side of the interface.A study of water chemisorption based on near-ambient pressure photoelectron s.e.troscopy indicates that the abundant hetero-interfaces in Ni/NiO nanocomposite promote the dissociation of water with a three-fold increase in the surface concentration of OH_(ads) compared with pure *** functional theory calculations indicate that Ni/NiO interface leads to the reduction of the water dissociation energy barrier due to a high concentration of oxygen vacancies at NiO side of the interface,whereas the formation of highly active metallic Ni sites with an optimal value of Gibbs free energy of H*(ΔG_(H*)=−0.16 eV)owes to a favourable adjustment of the electron energetics at the interface,thus accelerating the overall electrochemical water splitting.
