In the green building industry there is an implicit understanding that the use of a green building rating tool will attract additional capital *** phenomenon has been well studied in commercial buildings,with mixed results,but has received little focus in the residential,single family *** New Zealand the local green building council advises the market that they have reduced the time and cost to implement their green building rating tool,Homestar,through modifications to version 4 of the rating tool,which include the use of a new 6-Homestar *** research investigates this claim using a comparative cost methodology to determine the potential additional capital cost commitment that would be required to achieve a 6-Homestar certification,utilising ten standalone and terraced house designs from the Hobsonville Point development in Auckland,*** research determines that there is an additional cost to achieve 6-Homestar of 3-5%.This is nearly double compared to previous research into Homestar and also finds that,for the houses reviewed,the use of the 6-Homestar checklist is less cost effective than other ***,in this instance the advice and guidance of the green building council is erroneous and misleading to the market.

An approximate solution of the Dirac equation for a spin-1/2 particle under the influence of q-deformed hyperbolic P ¨oschl–Teller potential combined with trigonometric Scarf II non-central potential is studied analytically. It is assumed that the scalar potential equals the vector potential in order to obtain analytical solutions. Both radial and angular parts of the Dirac equation are solved using the Nikiforov–Uvarov method. A relativistic energy spectrum and the relation between quantum numbers can be obtained using this method. Several quantum wave functions corresponding to several states are also presented in terms of the Jacobi Polynomials.

The catalytic performance of Ni-containing limonite ore in the dry reforming reaction of methane （CH_4＋CO_2→2H_2＋2CO） was determined before and after hydrogen reduction, and under a flow of hydrogen. After hydrogen reduction, the limonite ore exhibited higher catalytic performance, because of the formation of Fe-Ni. However, the Fe in Fe-Ni was readily oxidized by the input CO_2 gas. resulting in a rapid decrease in the catalytic performance of limonite ore. The performance de- crease was due to a decrease in the Ni surface area; Ni could not dissolve in iron oxides and this caused segregation in the iron oxides. When the reaction was conducted under a hydrogen flow, the Fe-Ni was formed and maintained. Ni was highly dispersed in the Fe-Ni phase, resulting in greater surface area of Ni and higher conversion rate of CH_4 and CO_2. The catalytic performance of the limonite ore was inferior to the Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst because the effect of catalyst support was small, however, the limonite ore was more stable during catalytic use and much cheaper than the Ni/Al_2O_3.

Morphology of the donor:acceptor blend plays a critical role in the photovoltaic performance of the organic solar cells (OSCs).Herein,liquid-phase-exfoliated black phosphorus nanoflakes (BPNFs),for their outstanding electronic property and good compatibility to solution process,were applied to fullerene-free OSCs as morphology *** by X-ray scattering measurements,the PTB7-Th:IEICO-4F blends incorporated with BPNFs exhibit more ordered π-π stacking and promoted domain purity,contributing to lower charge transport resistance and suppressed charge recombination within the bulk heterojunction (BHJ).As a result,a high fill factor (FF) of 0.73 and a best power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 12.2% were obtained for fullerene-free OSCs based on PTB7-Th:IEICO-4F blends incorporating with BPNFs,which is among the highest FF of the as-cast fullerene-free OSCs with PCE over 12%.More importantly,the embedded BPNFs help to improve the morphological stability of the devices probably by retarding the phase mixing in the BHJ during the aging ***,analogous enhancements were observed in another fullerene-free OSCs based on PBDB-T:*** a word,this work provides a new strategy of using two-dimentional nanoflakes as facile and universal morphology modifier for efficient fullerene-free OSCs.

Synthesis and characterization of lanthanum-doped yttrium iro n garnet(YIG)in the compositional se ries of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)(x=0.0,0.1,0.3,and 0.5)were carried *** compositions were made by using solid state reaction method with ball-milling *** phase formation,surface morphology,magnetic properties,and microwave absorbing ability of all compositions were characterized by using an X-ray diffractometer,a scanning electron microscope,a vibrating sample magnetometer,and a Vector network *** results reveal that all compositions are crystallized into Y_(3)Fe_(5)O_(12)phase(space group la-3d(230).It was observed that the lattice constant is increased from 1.2373 to 1.2421 nm with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=*** crystallite size of Y_(3-x)La_(x)Fe_(5)O_(12)series calculated by Scherrer method is found to decrease from 78 nm in x=0.0-63 nm in x=*** particle size distribution from the surface morphology image analysis is shifted to lower-range number with the increase of lanthanum substitution level from x=0.0 to *** substitution process also affects the lattice distortion in La-doped samples and changes the bond angles and bond lengths of the YIG *** the results,a linear correlation between the Fe'-O-Fe bond angle with magnetic properties parameters of saturation magnetization(M_(s))and remanence magnetization(M_(r))was *** to the lanthanum substitution process,all La^(3+)-doped samples possess higher M_(s)and M_(r)values compared to the original *** results of Vector network analyzer show that the improvement of the M_(s)and M_(r)plays an important role in enhancing the microwave absorbing ability of the *** minimum RL changes from-8.22 dB(~85.22%microwave absorption)in x=0.0 to-14.21 dB(~96.25%microwave absorption)in x=*** enhancement is mainly ascribed to the natural magnetic resonance loss and dipoIe-polarization loss due to the substitution *** decr

Traditional complementary foods are mainly starchy foods with limiting nutrient quality and can be fortified using protein rich crops like almond *** research thus aimed at investigating the nutritional quality of the formulated complementary diet from locally available almond seeds(Prunus amygdalus),high quality protein(QPM)and yellow maize after blending into *** proximate and amino acid compositions,in vitro protein qualities and functional properties of the blended flours were determined using standard *** in vivo studies involved feeding the weanling Wister albino rats with blended flours and commercial Cerelac(control),followed by hematological and histopathological determinations,while sensory attributes were evaluated by the semi-trained *** protein contents of the flour blends(24–28%)were significantly(padequate indispensable amino acids and improved functionalities than commercial cerelac(23%).Comparatively,the dried germinated QPM(DGQPM)has significant(p<0.05)higher biological value(~37%)than fermented high QPM(FHQPM)(~30%),thereby indicating that the germination process improved protein quality of the ***,the in vivo data showed a positive effect of germination process as the rats fed with DGQPM has low white blood cells(30×10^(2))compared to FHQPM(42×10^(2))and cerelac(51×10^(2)).However,the fermentation process improved the packed cell volume of rats fed with FHQPM(49%)when compared to DGQPM and cerelac(47%).The formulated diets have no negative effects on the protein content(45.19–51.88 mg N/g)and weight(0.25–1.36 g)of the internal organs(liver,kidney and tissue)of the animals when compared to cerelac(53.72–55.04 mg N/g;0.25–1.98 g),*** panelists generally accepted all the formulated diets,hence encouraging their utilization in the global preparation of complimentary foods for young children to meet their nutritional needs and adding value to the locally produced underutilized alm

Objective:To analyze the effects of Ageratum conyzoides *** the monosodium iodoacetate induced osteoarthritis ***:Thin layer chromatography was performed to analyze the constituents of the babandotan extract *** male Sprague-Dawley rats used in this study were divided into 6 groups:normal control and negative control groups,both given0.5%carboxymethyl cellulose;the positive control group that was given glucosamine and chondroitin suspension(486 mg/200 g B.W.);the 3 dose variation extract groups including dose 1,2,and 3 that were given 40,80,and 160 mg/200 g *** on day 29 *** the groups were induced with 0.05 mL monosodium iodoacetate(20 mg/mL)on day1,except normal control induced by *** of edema volume of rat knees was performed on day 0,8,15,22,29,43,and *** data was measured at day 1,29and *** was collected at day 50 to evaluate TNF-α and MMP-9 by *** histopathology was evaluated by staining with H&E and Safranin-o-fast green staining on day ***:The babandotan leaves extract dose 2(80 mg/200 g B.W.)and dose 3(160mg/200 g B.W.)could decrease the edema volume,increase the area and thickness of articular cartilage,and increase proteoglycan ***,dose 3(160 mg/200 g B.W.)of extract babandotan leaves were able to significantly decrease the number of leukocytes,lymphocytes and udem volume,and decrease TNF alpha and MMP-9 ***:Babandotan leaves extract can recover inflammation and cartilages degradation by inhibiting TNF-αin inflammation processes and MMP-9 in the collagenase reaction in the cartilages.

In terms of planning aspect,nuclear power plant(NPP)development needs analyses,consideration,and right decision making due to multi criteria *** study prioritizes the best site development of Indonesian NPPs in terms of 21 social,economic,and technical perspectives which comprise transmission network,oper-ating cost,economic impact,geology,geotechnic,seismology,population density,environment,cooling water,meteorology,hydrology,proximity to hazardous facilities,topography,land use,proximity to wetland,evacu-ation route,security,transportation network,legal consideration,impact of tourism,land ownership,historical places,and public acceptance,all identified to be considerations for the best *** Fuzzy algorithms(Chang’s Extent Analysis and Buckley’s Fuzzy AHP)were used to determine the criteria priorities as well as NPP site feasibility of two locations in *** results found that geology,geotechnic,and seismology(SA1);security(SO1),population density(SA2),environment(SA3),and cooling water(SA4)had the highest priorities among the 21 *** on the 5 top priority criteria,West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan provinces serve as the best candidates for the NPP *** an innovative and novel multi criteria Fuzzy AHP–based decision making(MCDM)approach has been proven to become a useful reference to select NPP sites in Indonesia.

Fluorination of the donor polymer or non-fullerene acceptor (NFA) in an organic photovoltaic device is an effective method to improve device *** there have been many studies on donor polymer fluorination,blends containing both a fluorinated donor and fluorinated NFA have rarely been *** this study,we use two donor polymers (4'-FT-HTAZ and 4'-FT-FTAZ) and two NFAs (ITIC-Th and ITIC-Th1) with different amounts of fluorine (from 2F to 6F) to investigate how the degree of fluorination in a blend impacts device *** find that fluorinating the NFA leads to a higher short-circuit current density (Jsc) and fill factor (FF),however,the open-circuit voltage (Voc) is decreased due to a depressed lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) *** additional fluorine to the donor polymer does not have a large effect on the Jsc or FF,but it does lead to an improved *** fluorinating the NFA and having more fluorine on the donor polymer,we obtain both a high Jsc and Voc simultaneously,leading to a power conversion efficiency over 10% in the case of 4'-FT-FTAZ:ITIC-Th1,which has the most amount of fluorine (6F).
