Objective Diabetic foot ulcer(DFU)is one of the most serious complications of ***-and platelet-rich fibrin(L-PRF)is a second-generation autologous platelet-rich *** study aims to investigate the clinical effects of L-PRF in patients with diabetes in real clinical *** Patients with DFU who received L-PRF treatment and standard of care(SOC)from 2018 to 2019 in Tongji Hospital were *** clinical information including patient characteristics,wound evaluation(area,severity,infection,blood supply),SOC of DFU,and images of ulcers was retrospectively extracted and analyzed.L-PRF treatment was performed every 7±2 days until the ulcer exhibited complete epithelialization or an overall percent volume reduction(PVR)greater than 80%.Therapeutic effectiveness,including overall PVR and the overall and weekly healing rates,was *** Totally,26 patients with DFU were enrolled,and they had an ulcer duration of 47.0(35.0,72.3)*** severity and infection of ulcers varied,as indicated by the Site,Ischemia,Neuropathy,Bacterial Infection,and Depth(SINBad)scores of 2–6,Wagner grades of 1–4,and the Perfusion,Extent,Depth,Infection and Sensation(PEDIS)scores of 2–*** initial ulcer volume before L-PRF treatment was 4.94(1.50,13.83)cm3,and the final ulcer volume was 0.35(0.03,1.76)*** median number of L-PRF doses was 3(2,5).A total of 11 patients achieved complete epithelialization after the fifth week of treatment,and 19 patients achieved at least an 80%volume reduction after the seventh *** overall wound-healing rate was 1.47(0.63,3.29)cm3/week,and the healing rate was faster in the first 2 weeks than in the remaining *** treatment did not change the percentage of complete epithelialization or healing *** adding L-PRF to SOC significantly improved wound healing in patients with DFU independent of the ankle brachial index,SINBad score,or Wagner grade,indicating that this method is appropriate for D

The friction sensitivity(FS) of five linear and eight cyclic nitramines has been *** parameters of non-autocatalyzed thermal decomposition of these nitramines were used for comparison of the FS values with thermal ***,increasing values of activation energies of non-autocatalyzed decomposition of the studied nitramines are connected with decreasing FS values.A similar trend was found in the relation between FS and hypothetical initiation temperature for 5% conversion of the nitramines after 50 μs of their thermolysis,however,if in the given series of nitramines their initiation reactivity is predominantly determined by the energy content of their molecules and closer similarity of their molecular structures,then the above-mentioned trend may be *** found relationships were used for prediction and verification of the activation energy of non-autocatalyzed thermal decomposition of 2,5-dinitro-2,5-diazahexane.

Caseous lymphadenitis (CL) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (C. pseudotuberculosis) that is transmitted mainly by contact with contaminated exudate wounds. Caseous lymphadenitis affects different species of animals and is considered an occupational zoonotic disease. CL is responsible for important economic losses in the small ruminant industry, which include decreased production, damaged quality of milk and wool, reproductive disorders, total or partial confiscation of carcasses, and depreciation of the skin. Caseous lymphadenitis disease can present in two clinical pictures: a skin or superficial picture and a visceral or deep picture. The presumptive diagnosis of CL in the skin is based on the exploration of superficial lymph nodes. These have little value in diagnosing visceral CL, where the main sign is emaciation. The prevention and control of CL involve identifying the skin condition and debriding the abscesses. In addition to the treatment of superficial lesions, the animal facilities must be repaired and adapted. To avoid exposure of negative herds to CL, new animals must be subjected to observation to identify any of the clinical manifestations. Another form of control is vaccination, though only some countries have commercial vaccines. General information on the etiological agent and its characteristics can be used to improve the understanding of this disease.

Effect of Nanostructures addition and Enhancement of Poly (Vinylidene Difluoride) (PVDF) Energy Harvesting

With concerns in energy crisis and global warming, researchers are actively investigating alternative energy renewable solutions. Among the various methods, piezoelectric transduction stands out due to its impressive electromechanical coupling factor and coefficient. As a result, piezoelectric energy harvesting has garnered significant attention from the scientific community. In this study, we explored methods to enhance the piezoelectric properties of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) through two distinct approaches. The first approach involved applying external high voltages at various stages during the mixture reaction. The goal was to determine whether this voltage application could alter or enhance PVDF’s piezoelectric conformation by improving the alignment of polarized dipoles. In the second part of our study, we investigated the effects of incorporating various nanostructures (including Iron Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, and Zinc Oxide) into PVDF. To analyze changes in PVDF’s crystalline structure, we utilized Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) techniques. additionally, we measured the electric polarization of samples using a Precision LC Meter and examined the morphology of nanofibers through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).

Petrology of Spinel-Lherzolite Xenoliths from Mazéléand Others Northen Xenoliths Localities of Cameroon Volcanic Line: Exchange Reactions and Equilibrium State

The alkaline volcanism of the Cameroon Volcanic Line in its northern domain has raised many fresh enclaves of peridotites. The samples selected come from five (05) different localities (Liri, in the plateau of Kapsiki, Mazélé in the NE of Ngaoundéré, Tello and Ganguiré in the SE of Ngaoundéré and Likok, locality located in the west of Ngaoundé). The peridotite enclaves of the above localities show restricted mineralogical variation. Most are four-phase spinel-lherzolites, indicating that this is the main lithology that forms the lithospheric mantle below the shallow zone. No traces of garnet or primary plagioclase were detected, which strongly limits the depth range from which the rock fragments were sampled. The textures and the wide equilibrium temperatures (884˚C - 1115˚C) indicate also entrainment of lherzolite xenoliths from shallow depths within the lithosphere and the presence of mantle diapirism. The exchange reactions and equilibrium state established in this work make it possible to characterize the chemical composition of the upper mantle of each region and test the equilibrium state of the phases between them. Variations of major oxides and incompatible elemental concentrations in clinopyroxene indicate a primary control by partial melting. The absence of typical “metasomatic” minerals, low equilibration temperatures and enriched LREE patterns indicate that the upper mantle below septentrional crust of Cameroun underwent an event of cryptic metasomatic enrichment prior to partial melting. The distinctive chemical features, LREE enrichment, strong U, Ce and Pr, depletion relative to Ba, Nb, la, Pb, and T, fractionation of Zr and Hf and therefore ligh high Zr/Hf ratio, low la/Yb, Nb/la and Ti/Eu are all results of interaction of refractory peridotite residues with carbonatite melts.

BACKGROUND Diabetes foot is one of the most serious complications of diabetes and an important cause of death and disability,traditional treatment has poor efficacy and there is an urgent need to develop a practical treatment *** To investigate whether Huangma Ding or autologous platelet-rich gel(APG)treatment would benefit diabetic lower extremity arterial disease(LEad)patients with foot *** A total of 155 diabetic LEad patients with foot ulcers were enrolled and divided into three groups:Group A(62 patients;basal treatment),Group B(38 patients;basal treatment and APG),and Group C(55 patients;basal treatment and Huangma Ding).All patients underwent routine follow-up visits for six *** follow-up,we calculated the changes in all variables from baseline and determined the differences between groups and the relationships between *** The infection status of the three groups before treatment was the ***(PCT)improved after APG and Huangma Ding treatment more than after traditional treatment and was significantly greater in Group C than in Group *** regression analysis revealed that PCT was positively correlated with total amputation,primary amputation,and minor amputation *** ankle-brachial pressure and the transcutaneous oxygen pressure in Groups B and C were greater than those in Group *** major amputation rate,minor amputation rate,and total amputation times in Groups B and C were lower than those in Group *** Our research indicated that diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs)lead to major amputation,minor amputation,and total amputation through local infection and poor microcirculation and *** Ding and APG were effective attreating *** clinical efficacy of Huangma Ding was better than that of autologous platelet gel,which may be related to the better control of local infection by Huangma *** finding suggested that in patients with DFUs combined with coinfection,controll

Perception and Management of Hemorroid Disease at the CSREF of the Commune Bamako Mali

This work was a prospective transversal study over 6 (six) months from May 2 to December 31, 2017 at the Reference Health Center of Commune I and the Chérif la Confessional Health Center in Bamako. The aim was to study the knowledge, attitudes and behavioral practices linked to hemorrhoids in Commune I of the Bamako district, to evaluate the frequency of hemorrhoidal disease, to determine the knowledge, attitudes and behavioral practices linked to hemorrhoids among patients, their companions and traditional therapists in Commune I of the district of Bamako and the factors which influence the motivations and decisions to resort to medical-surgical care and traditional medicine in patients suffering from hemorrhoids in order to analyze the results of the management of hemorrhoidal disease at Cs Ref CI. We collected 36 patients with hemorrhoidal disease, 25 caregivers and 15 traditional hemorrhoidal disease therapists. The sex ratio was 1.25 for patients;6.5 for traditional therapists and 1.5 for accompanying people. The average age of the patients was 32.75 years;49 years for traditional therapists and 28.76 years for those accompanying them. 55.6% of patients claim to know about hemorrhoidal disease;100% of traditional therapists and 80% of accompanying people. The dietary factor of hemorrhoidal disease was mentioned by 90% of patients;66.7% of traditional therapists and 100% of caregivers. Most patients initially resorted to traditional treatment out of fear of surgery and its after-effects. The patients were treated medically and surgically.
