Production of single cell protein(SCP)from food waste is one of the promising approaches for excellent waste *** the present study,SCP was produced through submerged fermentation using selected food wastes(banana peel,citrus peel,carrot pomace and potato peel).During process optimization,combinations of various temperature and nitrogen sources were studied for optimum SCP yield(g/100g).The results indicated that maximum SCP yield was obtained at 30℃ for 7 days on potato peels,whereas citrus and banana peels exhibited the lowest SCP yield at the same process *** SCP compositional analysis indicated that the amount of non-essential amino acids was significantly higher than wheat ***,SCP enriched bread was prepared by adding SCP at different concentrations(0,4,8,and 12%).The organoleptic properties indicated that SCP addition up to 4%was acceptable to prepare protein enriched ***,SCP may be effectively used for food waste management and food security.

While reliance on renewable energy resources has become a reality, there is still a need to deploy greener and more sustainable methods in order to achieve sustainable development goals. Indeed, green hydrogen is currently believed to be a reliable solution for global warming and the pollution challenges arising from fossil fuels, making it the resilient fuel of the future. However, the sustainability of green hydrogen technologies is yet to be achieved. In this context, generation of green hydrogen with the aid of deep eutectic solvents(DESs) as green mixtures has been demonstrated as a promising research area. This systematic review article covers green hydrogen generation through water splitting and biomass fermentation when DESs are utilized within the generation process. It also discusses the incorporation of DESs in fuel cell technologies. DESs can play a variety of roles such as solvent, electrolyte, or precursor;colloidal suspension and reaction medium;galvanic replacement, shape-controlling, decoration, or extractive agent;finally oxidant. These roles are relevant to several methods of green hydrogen generation, including electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and fermentation. As such, it is of utmost importance to screen potential DES formulations and determine how they can function in and contribute throughout the green hydrogen mobility stages. The realization of super green hydrogen generation stands out as a pivotal milestone in our journey towards achieving a more sustainable form of development;DESs have great potential in making this milestone achievable. Overall, incorporating DESs in hydrogen generation constitutes a promising research area and offers potential scalability for green hydrogen production, storage,transport, and utilization.

The theory of ecological speciation suggests that assortative mating evolves most easily when mating preferences aredirectly linked to ecological traits that are subject to divergent selection. Sensory adaptation can play a major role in this process,because selective mating is often mediated by sexual signals: bright colours, complex song, pheromone blends and so on. Whendivergent sensory adaptation affects the perception of such signals, mating patterns may change as an immediate ***, mating preferences can diverge as a result of indirect effects: assortative mating may be promoted by selectionagainst intermediate phenotypes that are maladapted to their (sensory) environment. For Lake Victoria cichlids, the visual environmentconstitutes an important selective force that is heterogeneous across geographical and water depth gradients. We investigatethe direct and indirect effects of this heterogeneity on the evolution of female preferences for alternative male nuptial colours(red and blue) in the genus Pundamilia. Here, we review the current evidence for divergent sensory drive in this system, extractgeneral principles, and discuss future perspectives [Current Zoology 56 (3): 285-299, 2010].

Recent years have seen notable progress in the use of deep eutectic solvents(DESs)in pharmaceutical *** is ascribed to the high preparation flexibility of DES mixtures and the ability tomulti-tune their physicochemical properties and biopharmaceutical *** aim of this article is to provide perspective concerning the applications of DESs in pharmaceutical systems and their potential based on the current state of the ***,there is some disagreement about whether some mixtures are in fact DESs or ionic liquids(ILs)[1].This indicates the need for more robust standards and definitions so as to avoid confusion within the scientific *** studies consider DESs to either constitute a subclass of ILs,analogs of ILs,or alternatives to *** this regard,it would be best for the IUPAC to standardize DES classification and their similarity/dissimilarity with ILs.

Breast cancer in women is a complicated and multifaceted disease. Studies have demonstrated that hyperglycemia is one of the most significant risk factors for breast cancer. Hyperglycemia is when the sugar level in human blood is too high, which means excess glucose. Glucose excess can encourage the growth, invasion, and migration of breast cancer cells at the cellular level. Though, the effects of glucose on the dynamics of breast cancer cells have been examined mathematically by a system of ordinary differential equations. However, the non-instantaneous biological occurrences leading to the secretion of immuno-suppressive cytokines by tumors to evade immune surveillance and the immune cells’ derivation of cytokines to attack the tumor cells are not yet discussed. Therefore, investigating the biological process involved in the dynamics of tumors, immune and normal cells with excessive glucose concentration is inviolable to determining the best procedure for controlling tumors’ uncontrollable growth. Time delay, denoted by τ, is used to describe the time tumor cells take to secrete immunosuppressive cytokines to evade immune surveillance and the time immune cells take to recognize and attack the tumor cells. We have studied the local stability analysis of the biological steady states in both delayed and non-delayed system. The Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion is used to analyze the dynamical equilibrium of the cells’ population. Hopf bifurcation was analyzed by using time delay s as a bifurcation parameter. The analytical results suggest an unstable scenario for a tumor-free equilibrium point as normal cells are bound to grow to their carrying capacity. The result predicts a stable system for coexisting equilibrium when the interaction is instantaneous (τ = 0). However, when τ > 0, the coexisting equilibrium point switches from stable to unstable. Pyrimidine derivatives have been reported as neuroprotective agents useful for the treatment of various neurodegenerative disorders. In the present study, several pyrimidine analogues have been evaluated as neuroprotective agents in Morris water maze model. It was observed that pyrimidine derivatives 8–17 considerably improve learning, memory, and movement deficits in animal models. Biochemical estimations of brain serum of treated animals revealed suppression of oxidative and nitrosative stress, acetylcholinesterase activity, and other parameters which leads to neurodegeneration of brain. Of all the pyrimidine derivatives, thiomorpholine derivative 8 and piperazine ethanol derivative 17 were found to be the most active neuroprotective agents and produced effects comparable to standard drug rivastigmine in terms of behavioral, biochemical, and molecular aspects.
