Cancer is a leading cause of death globally,with limited treatment options and several *** agents often result in toxicity which long-term conventional *** are natural constituents that are more effective in treating various diseases with less toxicity than the chemotherapeutic agents providing alternative therapeutic approaches to minimize the *** phytoconstituents act in several ways and deliver optimum effectiveness against ***,the effectiveness of phyto-formulations in the management of cancers may be constrained due to challenges related to inadequate solubility,bioavailability,and *** presents a promising avenue for transforming current cancer treatment methods through the incorporation of phytochemicals into nanosystems,which possess a range of advantageous characteristics such as biocompatibility,targeted and sustained release capabilities,and enhanced protective *** holds significant potential for future advancements in cancer ***,this review aims to provide intensive literature on diverse nanocarriers,highlighting their applications as cargos for phytocompounds in ***,it offers an overview of the current advancements in the respective field,emphasizing the characteristics that contribute to favourable outcomes in both in vitro and in vivo ***,clinical development and regulatory concerns are also discussed to check on the transformation of the concept as a promising strategy for combination therapy of phytochemicals and chemotherapeutics that could lead to cancer management in the future.

Possible Mechanical Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Causing COVID-19 by Insects: Infection, Prevention, Implications, and Control

The new coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2 is a new type of virus named as COVID-19. Although, it has few similarities with pandemic flu viruses, the respiratory system and immune system are damaged through the viruses infected the population who has weakened immunity. SARS-CoV-2 spreads when people don’t have the sign and symptoms. This virus COVID-19 appears to spread more easily than the flu, and asymptomatic transmission may account for a greater proportion of COVID-19’s spreader over the World. In inundation of the current understanding, the roles of insect vectors are helping in the transmission of viral pathogens as well and the possible roles of some newly joined insects in the mechanical transmission of COVID-19. We also specifically provide the prevention and control methods related to contamination, disease burden, risk pattern in the family, near and dear to maintain the precision of social distancing and development of the immune system to fight against SARS-CoV-2.

Accidental Entry of Foreign Body in Maxillary Sinus—A Case Report

Extraction of the first molar or premolar is the commonest cause of oro-antral fistula. Management involves identification of the same, removal of any foreign body from the maxillary sinus, if present, followed by appropriate flap for closer. A case is presented when a gutta percha (GP) point was accidentally dislodged into the right maxillary sinus during preliminary diagnosis of the oro-antral fistula. The surgical management of the case is described and is the appropriate treatment plan.

Design architecture is the edifice that strengthens the functionalities as well as the security of web *** order to facilitate architectural security from the web application’s design phase itself,practitioners are now adopting the novel mechanism of security *** the intent to conduct a research from the perspective of security tactics,the present study employs a hybrid multi-criteria decision-making approach named fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(AHP-TOPSIS)method for selecting and assessing multi-criteria *** adopted methodology is a blend of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(fuzzy AHP)and fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(fuzzy TOPSIS).To establish the efficacy of this methodology,the results are obtained after the evaluation have been tested on fifteen different web application projects(Online Quiz competition,Entrance Test,and others)of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University,Lucknow,*** tabulated outcomes demonstrate that the methodology of the Multi-Level Fuzzy Hybrid system is highly effective in providing accurate estimation for strengthening the security of web *** proposed study will help experts and developers in developing and managing security from any web application design phase for better accuracy and higher security.

Levels of neutrophil gelatinase-assosciated lipocalin in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in Indian population from Haryana state

AIM To study the levels of neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin(NGAL) in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).METHODS This was a non randomized case control study conducted at Department of Biochemistry,in collaboration with Regional Cancer Center over a period of one *** study population included 50 adult newly diagnosed HNSCC patients reporting in outpatient department at Regional Cancer Center and compared with 50 healthy *** was estimated by ELISA *** t test and χ~2 test were applied for comparison of means of study *** between groups were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient(r) *** Patients with HNSCC exhibited significantly increased levels of NGAL(P < 0.05) as compared to healthy controls(978.88 ± 261.39 ng/mL vs 34.83 ± 7.59 ng/mL).Out of 50,26 patients(52%) were in stage Ⅳ,21(42%) in stage Ⅲ,1(2%) patient in stage Ⅱ and 2(4%) patients were in stage Ⅰ.Metastasis was absent in 98% patients and mean NGAL levels were highest in these patients but P value was not *** NGAL levels were highest in stage Ⅳ [1041.54 ± 222.15 ng/mL(stage Ⅳ) vs 1040 ± 0.00 ng/mL(stage Ⅰ);900 ± 0.00 ng/mL(stage Ⅱ) and 1031.90 ± 202.55 ng/mL(stage Ⅲ)] and χ~2 test was highly significant(P < 0.001).Thirty-six patients(72%) were having moderately differentiated HNSCC and mean NGAL levels were maximum in patients with well differentiated HNSCC(1164 ± 315.64 ng/mL vs 1013.33 ± 161.19 ng/mL in moderately differentiated and 890 ± 11.55 ng/mL in poorly differentiated) and the results were also highly significant(P < 0.001,χ~2 test).CONCLUSION The present work demonstrates a potential role of NGAL as cancer biomarker and its use in monitoring the HNSCC progression.

Virtual preoperative planning and 3D printing are valuable for the management of complex orthopaedic trauma

Purpose:The technology of 3D printing(3DP)exists for quite some time,but it is still not utilized to its full potential in the field of orthopaedics and traumatology,such as underestimating its worth in virtual preoperative planning(VPP)and designing various models,templates,and *** can be a significant tool in the reduction of surgical morbidity and better surgical outcome avoiding various associated ***:An observational study was done including 91 cases of complex trauma presented in our institution requiring operative *** preoperative planning and 3DP were used in the management of these *** managing these cases were given a set of questionnaire and responses were recorded and assessed as a quantitative ***:In all the 91 cases,where VPP and 3DP were used,the surgeons were satisfied with the outcome which they got intraoperatively and *** time was reduced,with a better *** dimensional models of complex fracture were helpful in understanding the anatomy and sketching out the plans for optimum reduction and *** average score of the questionnaire was 4.5,out of a maximum of 6,suggesting a positive role of 3DP in ***:3DP is useful in complex trauma management by accurate reduction and placement of implants,reduction of surgical time and with a better *** there is an initial learning curve to understand and execute the VPP and 3DP,these become easier with practice and experience.

Factors affecting the quantity and quality of platelet-rich plasma and platelet-derived growth factor-BB:an observational study

Pharmacognostic Evaluation and Antioxidant Activity of <i>Urtica dioica</i>L.

Background: Urtica dioica L. is a common Himalayan species which produces allergenic substances causing oedema and inflammation in humans. It has become a source of folk medicine for the treatment of many diseases. The leaves and roots both are used internally as a blood purifier and diuretic and an infusion of the plant is used for nasal and menstrual haemorrhage, diabetes, rheumatism, eczema, anaemia, hair loss, as an expectorant and antidiarrhoeal. Present study includes pharmacognostic evaluation, antioxidant activity and HPTLC analysis of Urtica dioica L. Methods: Pharmacognostic evaluation of aerial part of U. dioica has been performed as per Indian pharmacopoeia. In-vitro antioxidant evaluation of U. dioica has been performed using DPPH free radical scavenging activity. Ferulic acid, a potential phenolic antioxidant present in this species, has been studied through HPTLC. Results: U. dioica hydro-alcoholic extract shows positive results for antioxidant activity with IC50 value of 88.33 ± 2.88 μg/ml. Standard ascorbic acid showed IC50 value of 2.8 ± 0.62 μg/ml. Ferulic acid was identified at Rf 0.61 ± 0.01 and quantified to 0.73% in this species through CAMAG HPTLC analysis. Conclusion: The pharmacognostical parameters reported can be considered as quality standards of U. dioica in herbal industry. Hydro-alcoholic extract of U. dioica showed positive in vitro antioxidant activity. Presence of phenolic compound suggests that antioxidant activity may be due to ferulic acid content.

Development of Diagnostics for High-Temperature High-Pressure Liquid Pb-16Li Applications

Liquid lead-lithium (Pb-16Li) is of primary interest as one of the candidate materials for tritium breeder, neutron multiplier and coolant fluid in liquid metal blanket concepts relevant to fusion power plants. For an effective and reliable operation of such high temperature liquid metal systems, monitoring and control of critical process parameters is essential. However, limited operational experience coupled with high temperature operating conditions and corrosive nature of Pb-16Li severely limited application of commercially available diagnostic tools. This paper illustrates indigenous calibration test facility designs and experimental methods used to develop non-contact configuration level diagnostics using pulse radar level sensor, wetted configuration pressure diagnostics using diaphragm seal type pressure sensor and bulk temperature diagnostics with temperature profiling for high temperature, high pressure liquid Pb and Pb-16Li applications. Calibration check of these sensors was performed using analytical methods, at temperature between 380°C - 400°C and pressure upto 1 MPa (g). Reliability and performance validation were achieved through long duration testing of sensors in liquid Pb and liquid Pb-16Li environment for over 1000 hour. Estimated deviation for radar level sensor lies within [−3.36 mm, +13.64 mm] and the estimated error for pressure sensor lies within 1.1% of calibrated span over the entire test duration. Results obtained and critical observations from these tests are presented in this paper.
