The functional interdependence of nerves and blood vessels is a well-established concept during tissue morphogenesis, yet the role of neurovascular coupling in proper and aberrant tissue repair is an emerging field of interest. Here, we sought to define the regulatory relationship of peripheral nerves on vasculature in a severe extremity trauma model in mice, which results in aberrant cell fate and heterotopic ossification(HO). First, a high spatial degree of neurovascular congruency was observed to exist within extremity injury associated heterotopic ossification. Vascular and perivascular cells demonstrate characteristic responses to injury,as assessed by single cell RNA sequencing. This vascular response to injury was blunted in neurectomized mice, including a decrease in endothelial proliferation and type H vessel formation, and a downregulation of key transcriptional networks associated with angiogenesis. Independent mechanisms to chemically or genetically inhibit axonal ingrowth led to similar deficits in HO site angiogenesis, a reduction in type H vessels, and heterotopic bone formation. Finally, a combination of single cell transcriptomic approaches within the dorsal root ganglia identified key neural-derived angiogenic paracrine factors that may mediate neuron-to-vascular signaling in HO. These data provide further understanding of nerve-to-vessel crosstalk in traumatized soft tissues, which may reflect a key determinant of mesenchymal progenitor cell fate after injury.

The Internet of Everything(IoE)based cloud computing is one of the most prominent areas in the digital big data *** approach allows efficient infrastructure to store and access big real-time data and smart IoE services from the *** IoE-based cloud computing services are located at remote locations without the control of the data *** data owners mostly depend on the untrusted Cloud Service Provider(CSP)and do not know the implemented security *** lack of knowledge about security capabilities and control over data raises several security *** Acid(DNA)computing is a biological concept that can improve the security of IoE big *** IoE big data security scheme consists of the Station-to-Station Key Agreement Protocol(StS KAP)and Feistel cipher *** paper proposed a DNA-based cryptographic scheme and access control model(DNACDS)to solve IoE big data security and access *** experimental results illustrated that DNACDS performs better than other DNA-based security *** theoretical security analysis of the DNACDS shows better resistance capabilities.

This editorial builds on the article by Shakhshir et *** conducted an overview of evidence-based dietary interventions in adults with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).In the IBD population,there may be a role for the Mediterranean diet due to its anti-inflammatory effects,long-term sustainability,and role in improving cardiovascular *** active Crohn’s disease,the use of exclusive enteral nutrition,the Crohn’s disease exclusion diet,or the specific carbohydrate diet may be used as a short-term adjunct to medical therapy and may improve mucosal *** low-FODMAP diet can assist in reducing symptoms for patients without evidence of active bowel *** interest in nutritional therapy increases amongst clinicians and patients alike,it is integral that dietary therapies are understood and discussed in routine management of patients with IBD as part of holistic care,ideally through a multidisciplinary setting with involvement of experienced *** serves to improve clinician-patient engagement and reduce complications of IBD including micro and micronutrient deficiencies.

Establishing the relationship between land use land cover,normalized difference vegetation index and land surface temperature:A case of Lower Son River Basin,India

The study explores the intricate interplay between land use land cover(LULC),normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),and land surface temperature(LST)within the Lower Son River Basin in India from 1991 to *** region’s ecological balance has been increasingly strained due to rapid urbanization and changing land use *** a combination of Landsat TM&OLI/TIRS satellite imageries and geospatial analysis techniques,this study unveils the intricate connection between land use and land cover changes,vegetation,and land surface temperature *** study area is classified into three altitudinal zones(Zone Ⅰ:39–300 m,Zone Ⅱ:301–600 m and Zone Ⅲ:601–1,247 m)to examine the changes in *** area has seen significant changes in LULC,vegetation and LST in all the three altitudinal *** findings hold significant implications for sustainable land management and environmental conservation strategies in the Lower Son River *** per the result,103,438 ha of vegetation was converted into agriculture land and 82,572 ha of agricultural land was transformed into settlements from 1991 to *** trend shows human pressure on the land resource in the study *** increase in water body is seen which is attributed to commissioning of Bansagar *** Ⅰ has seen highest settlement growth while Zone Ⅲ experienced severe deforestation of around 15%.Zone Ⅱ and Ⅲ needs attention for holistic *** of LST shows that it has increased by 0.82℃ from 1991 to 2020 which is a red *** study underscores the critical importance of balanced land use practices to preserve ecological integrity and mitigate the adverse effects of urbanization and climate change.

Modeling the impact of migrated population on human-to-human transmission of Ebola virus disease

A nonlinear SEIR mathematical model is developed to investigate the impact of migrated population,infected with Ebola virus,on human-to-human transmission of Ebola Virus Disease(EVD)in a disease-free *** view of the dynamics of Ebola virus disease,here,the infected class is supposed to be divided into subclasses,*** and secondary *** proposed model is analyzed qualitatively using the stability theory of differential equations and quantitatively using numerical *** obtained results,qualitatively and quantitatively,suggest that migration and contact rates play an important role in controlling the spreading of *** values for migration and contact rates are evaluated and it is revealed that if these rates go beyond their critical values,it leads to delay in the stabilization of the *** is also found that primary reproductive number increases with increase in migration *** this,the approximate time required to attain stability of the disease model system is also *** model analysis recommends quarantining the noninfected from the secondary infected in order to control the spreading out of disease.

Modeling the effects of environmental pollution intensified by urbanization on human population

A mathematical model is presented here to investigate the effects of environmental pollution,intensified by urbanization,on the density of human ***,urbanization is assumed to grow with constant rate and also,induced through growing population and the corresponding population *** model analysis,qualitatively and numerically,show that though the growth of population or population pressure is responsible for the growing urbanization,but for very large increase of urbanization,the population may not survive in the long run due to environmental pollution driven by urbanization.

A NUMERICAL APPROACH STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF PRECIPITATION SCAVENGING ON STEADY-STATE DISPERSION OF AIR POLLUTANTS

The present paper demonstrates the applicability of finite element method of weighted residuals to study the effects of precipitation scavenging through raindrops on the steady-state dispersion of air pollutants in the atmosphere under realistic variable wind and diffusivity ***,the washout of pollutants by rain droplets is considered and the whole analysis for the pollutant concentration is carried out in two phases *** phase and droplet *** model solutions are obtained by using local basis and asymmetric quadratic weighting functions which can provide a promising alternative to the standard Galerkin formulation for problems with advective and diffusive *** results of the model reveal that the precipitation scavenging by rain is quite effective in cleaning the polluted *** the need of pollutant concentration in rain drops regarding acid precipitation(or acid rain),the concentration of the absorbed pollutant in the droplet phase are also ***,the present study provides an understanding on the concentration distribution of pollutant in gaseous and droplet phases,under the effects of variable wind and diffusivity profiles.

Anomalous pressure-dependence in surface-modified silicon-derived nanoparticles

Surfaces can significantly alter the optical properties of nanomaterials,but they are difficult to control and their roles are hard to understand in highly reactive materials such as silicon *** this work,we investigate the role of the surface in controlling the optical transitions in highly luminescent silicon-derived *** combining high-pressure and low-temperature experiments,we experimentally correlate the anomalously intense and narrow transitions in the UV range with the surface oxides,while the visible transition and the photoluminescence(PL)are verified to originate from the Si-ligand charge transfer *** find that the high-pressure absorption and PL depends on the rigidity of the surface *** indicates that the surface plays a dominant role on the optical properties of these silicon-derived nanoparticles,and is different than other semiconductor nanomaterials,in which pressure-dependent optical transitions depend on lattice strain or phase *** work presents a comprehensive understanding of the optical transitions and the effect of surface ligands and surface oxidation in these highly luminescent Si-derived *** new insight into the oxidation-activated and ligand-mediated transitions,and the pressure-dependent PL may help with engineering the band structure of other highly-reactive optical nanomaterials.
