Notwithstanding the religious intention of billions of devotees,the religious mass gathering increased major public health concerns since it likely became a huge super spreading event for the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(sARs-CoV-2).Most attendees ignored preventive measures,namely maintaining physical distance,practising hand hygiene,and wearing *** a face mask in public areas protects people from spreading *** intelligence(AI)based on deep learning(DL)and machine learning(ML)could assist in fighting covid-19 in several *** study introduces a new deep learning-based Face Mask Detection in Religious Mass Gathering(DLFMD-RMG)technique during the COVID-19 *** DLFMD-RMG technique focuses mainly on detecting face masks in a religious mass *** accomplish this,the presented DLFMD-RMG technique undergoes two pre-processing levels:Bilateral Filtering(BF)and Contrast *** face detection,the DLFMD-RMG technique uses YOLOv5 with a ResNet-50 *** addition,the face detection performance can be improved by the seeker optimization algorithm(sOA)for tuning the hyperparameter of the ResNet-50 module,showing the novelty of the *** last,the faces with and without masks are classified using the Fuzzy Neural Network(FNN)*** stimulation study of the DLFMD-RMG algorithm is examined on a benchmark *** results highlighted the remarkable performance of the DLFMD-RMG model algorithm in other recent approaches.

Numerical Exploration of Asymmetrical Impact Dynamics: Unveiling Nonlinearities in Collision Problems and Resilience of Reinforced Concrete structures

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of collision and impact problems’ numerical solutions, focusing ongeometric, contact, and material nonlinearities, all essential in solving large deformation problems during a *** initial discussion revolves around the stress and strain of large deformation during a collision, followedby explanations of the fundamental finite element solution method for addressing such issues. The hourglassmode’s control methods, such as single-point reduced integration and contact-collision algorithms are detailedand implemented within the finite element framework. The paper further investigates the dynamic responseand failure modes of Reinforced Concrete (RC) members under asymmetrical impact using a 3D discrete modelin ABAQUs that treats steel bars and concrete connections as bond slips. The model’s validity was confirmedthrough comparisons with the node-sharing algorithm and system energy relations. Experimental parameterswere varied, including the rigid hammer’s mass and initial velocity, concrete strength, and longitudinal and stirrupreinforcement ratios. Findings indicated that increased hammer mass and velocity es.alated RC member damage,while increased reinforcement ratios improved impact resistance. Contrarily, increased concrete strength did notsignificantly reduce lateral displacement when considering strain rate effects. The study also explores materialnonlinearity, examining different materials’ responses to collision-induced forces and stresses, demonstratedthrough an elastic rod impact case study. The paper proposes a damage criterion based on the residual axialload-bearing capacity for assessing damage under the asymmetrical impact, showing a correlation betweendamage degree hammer mass and initial velocity. Assessment of plant diversity of endemic species of the saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

savanna, semi-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the saharo-Arabian region, which includes Morocco, Mauretania, algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, southern Jordan, syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the sudano-Zambezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom and the Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom, share a large portion of their flora with the saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgment of the region's global importance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the saharo-Arabian endemics is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national s.ales. Therefore, the present study aims at screening and verifying the saharo-Arabian endemic plants and determining the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a preliminary list of 429 saharo-Arabian endemic plants in Egypt was compiled from the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this number to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 families. Regarding the national geographic distribution, south sinai is the richest region with 83 endemic species compared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthmic Desert(the middle of sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). sahara regional subzone(ss1) distributes.all the 126 endemic species, Arabian regional subzone(ss2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-sindian subzone(ss3) distributes only 14 endemics. seven groups were recognized at the fourth level of classification as a result of the application of the two-way indicator species analysis(TWINsPAN) to the saharo-Arabian endemic sp

Improving the utility of locally differentially private protocols for longitudinal and multidimensional frequency estimates

This paper investigates the problem of collecting multidimensional data throughout time(i.e.,longitudinal studies)for the fundamental task of frequency estimation under Local Differential Privacy(LDP)*** to frequency estimation of a single attribute,the multidimensional aspect demands particular attention to the privacy ***,when collecting user statistics longitudinally,privacy progressively ***,the“multiple”settings in combination(i.e.,many attributes and several collections throughout time)impose several challenges,for which this paper proposes the first solution for frequency estimates under *** tackle these issues,we extend the analysis of three state-of-the-art LDP protocols(Generalized Randomized Response–GRR,Optimized Unary Encoding–OUE,and symmetric Unary Encoding–sUE)for both longitudinal and multidimensional data *** the known literature uses OUE and sUE for two rounds of sanitization(***),i.e.,L-OUE and L-sUE,respectively,we analytically and experimentally show that starting with OUE and then with sUE provides higher data utility(i.e.,L-OsUE).also,for attributes with s.all domain sizes,we propose Longitudinal GRR(L-GRR),which provides higher utility than the other protocols based on unary ***,we also propose a new solution named Adaptive LDP for LOngitudinal and Multidimensional FREquency Estimates.alLOMFREE),which randomly samples a single attribute to be sent with the whole privacy budget and adaptively selects the optimal protocol,i.e.,either L-GRR or *** shown in the results.alLOMFREE consistently and considerably outperforms the state-of-the-art L-sUE and L-OUE protocols in the quality of the frequency estimates.

Problems and prospects of fish farming in the Chattogram Hill Tracts of Bangladesh:Community-based aquaculture might be a right choice

The study was carried out in Matiranga Upazila,Bandarban district,which is considered one of Bangladesh’s major hill tract *** study aimed to identify present farming conditions,prospects,and problems and suitable solutions to the problems of fish *** participatory rapid appraisal tools such as focus group discussion,field visits,and farmers’interviews were used to collect relevant fish farming information in the study *** polyculture method was the most practised aquaculture *** the selected farms,eleven fish species were identified as culture *** transportation cost for seeds purchased from remote areas was high(11%of total seed cost).The average transportation-related mortality of fish fry and fingerlings was 7.2%and 2.8%.Feed cost was found as the major cost(58.4%)in *** and revenue for fish production per decimal varied from BDT 311 to 3528 and BDT 23 to *** of vacant lake,youth and women engagement,integrated aquaculture,the desire of people to engage in aquaculture,and available human resources were found as significant *** major problems identified were lack of hatchery,high feed cost,lack of stakeholder linkage,lack of capital for fish farming,and lack of proper knowledge,guidelines,and consultancy for fish culture.A community-based aquaculture model was proposed to overcome the present challenges and problems in the study *** model may help to expand aquaculture and thus improve the livelihood and socio-economic status of the people of the hilly areas of Bangladesh.

This study is trying to address the critical need for efficient routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks(MANETs)from dynamic topologies that pose great challenges because of the mobility of *** objective was to delve into and refine the application of the Dijkstra’s.algorithm in this context,a method conventionally esteemed for its efficiency in static ***,this paper has carried out a comparative theoretical analysis with the Bellman-Ford algorithm,considering adaptation to the dynamic network conditions that are typical for *** paper has shown through detailed algorithmic analysis that Dijkstra’s.algorithm,when adapted for dynamic updates,yields a very workable solution to the problem of real-time routing in *** results indicate that with these changes,Dijkstra’s.algorithm performs much better computationally and 30%better in routing optimization than Bellman-Ford when working with configurations of sparse *** theoretical framework adapted,with the adaptation of the Dijkstra’s.algorithm for dynamically changing network topologies,is novel in this work and quite different from any traditional *** adaptation should offer more efficient routing and less computational overhead,most apt in the limited resource environment of ***,from these findings,one may derive a conclusion that the proposed version of Dijkstra’s.algorithm is the best and most feasible choice of the routing protocol for MANETs given all pertinent key performance and resource consumption indicators and further that the proposed method offers a marked improvement over traditional *** paper,therefore,operationalizes the theoretical model into practical scenarios and also further research with empirical simulations to understand more about its operational effectiveness.

Owing to the rapid increase in the interchange of text information through internet networks,the reliability and security of digital content are becoming a major research *** detection,Content authentication,and integrity verification of digital content interchanged through the Internet were utilized to solve a major concern in information and communication *** authors’difficulties were tampering detection,authentication,and integrity verification of the digital *** study develops an Automated Data Mining based Digital Text Document Watermarking for Tampering Attack Detection(ADMDTW-TAD)via the *** DM concept is exploited in the presented ADMDTW-TAD technique to identify the document’s appropriate characteristics to embed larger watermark *** presented secure watermarking scheme intends to transmit digital text documents over the Internet *** the watermark is embedded with no damage to the original document,it is then shared with the *** watermark extraction process is performed to get the original document *** experimental validation of the ADMDTW-TAD technique is carried out under varying levels of attack volumes,and the outcomes were inspected in terms of different *** simulation values indicated that the ADMDTW-TAD technique improved performance over other models.

Efficient ECG classification based on Chi-square distance for arrhythmia detection

This study introduces a new classifier tailored to address the limitations inherent in conventional classifiers such as K-nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),decision tree(DT),and support vector machine(sVM)for arrhythmia *** proposed classifier leverages the Chi-square distance as a primary metric,providing a specialized and original approach for precise arrhythmia *** optimize feature selection and refine the classifier’s performance,particle swarm optimization(PsO)is integrated with the Chi-square distance as a fitness *** synergistic integration enhances the classifier’s capabilities,resulting in a substantial improvement in accuracy for arrhythmia *** results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method,achieving a noteworthy accuracy rate of 98% with PsO,higher than 89% achieved without any previous *** classifier outperforms machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)techniques,underscoring its reliability and superiority in the realm of arrhythmia *** promising results render it an effective method to support both academic and medical communities,offering an advanced and precise solution for arrhythmia detection in electrocardiogram(ECG)data.

Tuberculosis(TB)remains a leading cause of death among infectious diseases,particularly in poor *** infections,multidrug-resistant and ex-tensively drug-resistant TB strains,as well as the coexistence of chronic illnesses such as diabetes mellitus(DM)greatly aggravate TB morbidity and ***[particularly type 2 DM(T2DM)]and TB have converged making their control even more *** contemporary global epidemics,TB-DM behaves like a syndemic,a synergistic confluence of two highly prevalent diseases.T2DM is a risk factor for developing more severe forms of multi-drug resistant-TB and TB recurrence after preventive *** a bidirectional relationship exists between TB and DM,it is necessary to concurrently treat both,and promote recommendations for the joint management of both *** are also some drug-drug interactions resulting in adverse treatment outcomes in TB-DM patients including treatment failure,and *** addition,autophagy may play a role in these ***,the TB-DM comorbidities present several health challenges,requiring a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and integrated strategies,to effectively deal with this double *** effectively manage the comorbidity,further screening in affected countries,more suitable drugs,and better treatment strategies are required.
