COVID-19 is a contagious disease and its several variants put under stress in all walks of life and economy as *** diagnosis of the virus is a crucial task to prevent the spread of the virus as it is a threat to life in the whole ***,with the advancement of technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)and social IoT(SIoT),the versatile data produced by smart devices helped a lot in overcoming this lethal *** mining is a technique that could be used for extracting useful information from massive *** this study,we used five supervised ML strategies for creating a model to analyze and forecast the existence of COVID-19 using the Kaggle dataset“COVID-19 Symptoms and Presence.”rapidMiner Studio ML software was used to apply the Decision Tree(DT),random Forest(rF),K-Nearest Neighbors(K-NNs)and Naive Bayes(NB),Integrated Decision Tree(ID3)*** develop the model,the performance of each model was tested using 10-fold cross-validation and compared to major accuracy measures,Cohan’s kappa statistics,properly or mistakenly categorized cases and root means square *** results demonstrate that DT outperforms other methods,with an accuracy of 98.42%and a root mean square error of *** the future,a devisedmodel will be highly recommendable and supportive for early prediction/diagnosis of disease by providing different data sets.

A mathematical model for avian influenza with optimal control strategies is presented as a system of discrete time delay differential equations （DDEs） and its important math-ematical features are analyzed. In alignment to manage this, we develop an optimally controlled pandemic model of avian influenza and insert a time delay with exponential factor. Then we apply two controlled functions in the form of biosecurity of poultry and the education campaign against avian influenza to control the disperse of the dis- ease. Our optimal control strategies will minimize the number of contaminated humans and contaminated birds. We also derive the basic reproduction number to examine the dynamical behavior of the model and demonstrate the existence of the controlled system. For the justification of Our work, we present numerical simulations.

Globally among biotic stresses,diseases like blight,rust and blast constitute prime constraints for reducing wheat productivity especially in *** sustainable productivity,the development of disease-resistant lines and high yielding varieties is vital and *** study was conducted using 122 advanced breeding lines of wheat including 21 varieties developed by Bangladesh Wheat and Maize research Institute with aims to identify genotypes having high yield potential and resistant to leaf blight,leaf rust and blast *** genotypes were evaluated for resistance against leaf blight and leaf rust at Dinajpur and wheat blast at Jashore under field *** of 122 genotypes tested,20 lines were selected as resistant to leaf blight based on the area under the diseases progress curve under both irrigated timely sown and irrigated late sown ***-two genotypes were found completely free from leaf rust infection,59 genotypes were identified as resistant,and 13 genotypes were identified as moderately resistant to leaf *** genotypes were immune against wheat blast,42 genotypes were categorized as resistant,and 26 genotypes were identified as moderately resistant to wheat *** data revealed that the 16 genotypes showed a positive 2NS segment among the 18 immune genotypes selected against wheat blast under field *** genotypes BAW 1322,BAW 1295,and BAW 1203 can be used as earlier maturing genotypes and the genotypes BAW 1372,BAW 1373,BAW 1297 and BAW 1364 can be used for lodging tolerant due to short plant *** genotypes WMrI Gom 1,BAW 1349 and BAW 1350 can be selected for bold grain and the genotypes WMrI Gom 1,BAW 1297,BAW 1377 can be used as high yielder for optimum seeding condition but genotypes BAW 1377 and BAW 1366 can be used for late sown *** selected resistant genotypes against specific diseases can be used in the further breeding program to develop wheat varieties having higher disea

The aim of the study was to synthesize zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnONPs)composite with clay by a novel route and then to explore the capability of composite of ZnONPs and silty clay(SC)as adsorbents for Pb(II)eradication from aqueous media by batch adsorption *** effect of different operating factors like temperature,pH,dose and time of contact on the adsorption process were studied to optimize the ***,Freundlich,Dubinin-radushkevich(Dr)and Temkin isotherms were applied for the interpretation of the *** r^(2)and q values obtained from Langmuir model suggested that the process is best interpreted by this *** values of adsorption capacity(qm)noted were 12.43 mg·g^(-1) and 14.54 mg·g^(-1)on SC and ZnONPsSC *** kinetic studies exposed that pseudo second order(PSO)kinetics is followed by the processes suggesting that more than one steps are involved to control the rate of *** thermodynamic variables such as change in free energy(AGe),change in enthalpy(AH9)and change in entropy(ASe)were *** data suggested that Pb(II)adsorption on SC and ZnONPsSC are spontaneous,endothermic and feasible processes.

The employment of natural fibres in fused deposition modeling has raised much attention from researchers in finding a suitable formulation for the natural fibre composite ***,selection of suitable natural fibres for fused deposition modeling should be performed before the development of the *** could not be performed without identifying selection criteria that comprehend both materials and fused deposition modeling process ***,in this study,integration of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)/Analytic Network Process(ANP)has been introduced in selecting the natural fibres based in different clusters of selection *** selection process has been performed based on the interdependency among the selection *** comparison matrices are constructed based on AHP’s hierarchical model and super matrices are constructed based on the ANP’s network *** a result,flax fibre has ranked at the top of the selection by scored 19.5%from the overall *** fibre has excellent material properties and been found in various natural fibre composite *** investigation is needed to study the compatibility of this fibre to be reinforced with a thermoplastic polymer matrix to develop a resultant natural fibre composite filament for fused deposition modeling.

DNNBoT: Deep Neural Network-Based Botnet Detection and Classification

The evolution and expansion of IoT devices reduced human efforts,increased resource utilization, and saved time;however, IoT devices createsignificant challenges such as lack of security and privacy, making them morevulnerable to IoT-based botnet attacks. There is a need to develop efficientand faster models which can work in real-time with efficiency and stability. The present investigation developed two novels, Deep Neural Network(DNN) models, DNNBoT1 and DNNBoT2, to detect and classify well-knownIoT botnet attacks such as Mirai and BASHLITE from nine compromisedindustrial-grade IoT devices. The utilization of PCA was made to featureextraction and improve effectual and accurate Botnet classification in IoTenvironments. The models were designed based on rigorous hyperparameterstuning with GridsearchCV. Early stopping was utilized to avoid the effects ofoverfitting and underfitting for both DNN models. The in-depth assessmentand evaluation of the developed models demonstrated that accuracy andefficiency are some of the best-performed models. The novelty of the presentinvestigation, with developed models, bridge the gaps by using a real datasetwith high accuracy and a significantly lower false alarm rate. The results wereevaluated based on earlier studies and deemed efficient at detecting botnetattacks using the real dataset.

The two-dimensional atomically thin insulator hexagonal boron nitride （h-BN） constitutes a new paradigm in tunnel based devices. A large band gap, along with its atomically flat nature without dangling bonds or interface trap states, makes it an ideal candidate for tunnel spin transport in spintronic devices. Here, we demonstrate the tunneling of spin-polarized electrons through large area monolayer h-BN prepared by chemical vapor deposition in magnetic tunnel junctions. In ferromagnet/h-BN/ferromagnet heterostructures fabricated on a chip scale, we show tunnel magnetoresistance at room temperature. Measurements at different bias voltages and on multiple devices with different ferromagnetic electrodes establish the spin polarized tunneling using h-BN barriers. These results open the way for integration of 2D monolayer insulating barriers in active spintronic devices and circuits operating at ambient temperature, and for further exploration of their properties and prospects.

This paper presents an algorithm that combines model predictive control(MPC)with MINLP optimization and demonstrates its application for coal-fired power plants retrofitted with solvent based post-combustion CO_(2) capture(PCC)*** objective function of the optimization algorithm works at a primary level to maximize plant economic revenue while considering an optimal carbon capture *** a secondary level,the MPC algorithm is used to control the performance of the PCC *** techno-economic scenarios based on fixed(capture rate is constant)and flexible(capture rate is variable)operation modes are developed using actual electricity prices(2011)with fixed carbon prices($AUD 5,25,50/tonne-CO_(2))for 24 h *** show that fixed operation mode can bring about a ratio of net operating revenue deficit at an average of 6%against the superior flexible operation mode.

Objective:To identify the chikungunya outbreaks in both indoor and outdoor patients in some selected hospitals in our locality and the burden and magnitude of the disease,to compare different system of medicines(allopathic,Ayurvedic,homeopathy etc) and to explore the knowledge,attitude and practices of pharmacists and other health care professionals in the treatment of ***:A six-month study was carried *** history was taken from the case history,personal interview of doctors and suspected *** data such as name age,sex,location,date of onset of illness,medical history,general/systemic examination features,drugs used(allopathy,Ayurveda,homeopathy,or traditional) for the treatment,*** noted down.A simple questionnaire was prepared and distributed to various doctors practicing various systems of ***:A total of 209 suspected cases were identified from July to December,*** in the age group of 20-40 years were more *** study revealed that females were more affected than *** Grade-Ⅲ(58.73%) population was more prone to chikungunya than Grade-Ⅱ(38.75%) and Grade-Ⅰ(2.87%).It showed that fever,pain in muscles, and sleeping disturbances were the intense symptoms of *** and arthritis were concomitant diseases which worsened chikungunya *** also indicated the effective medicine for compliance is nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs(NSAIDS).Conclusions:From our study we found that in some places there is no proper documentation,even though there are proper guidelines framed by the relevant *** can be concluded from the study that all the systems of medicine are equally important for the management of *** effort in promoting the guidelines at local level and proper documentation helps to achieve the goal of curbing the *** is high time to increase our effort and promote these messages at grassroot level which benefits the society/ communi
