In an active distribution grid,renewable energy sources(RESs)such as photovoltaic(PV)and energy storage systems(e.g.,superconducting magnetic energy storage(SMES))can be combined with consumers to compose a microgrid(MG).The high penetration of PV causes high fluctuations of tie-line power flow and highly affects power system *** can lead to several technical problems such as voltage fluctuations and excessive power *** this paper,a fuzzy logic control based SMES method(FSM)and an optimized fuzzy logic control based SMES method(OFSM)are proposed for minimizing the tie-line power ***,the fluctuations and transmission power losses are *** FSM,SMES is used with a robust fuzzy logic controller(FLC)for controlling the tie-line power *** optimization model is employed in OFSM to simultaneously optimize the input parameters of the FLC and the reactive power of the voltage source converter(VSC)of *** objective function of minimizing the tieline power flow is incorporated into the optimization *** swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is utilized to solve the optimization problem while the constraints of the utility power grid,VSC,and SMES are *** simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed methods.

Due to the high interest in renewable energy and diversity of research regarding photovoltaic （PV） array, a great research effort is focusing nowadays on solar power generation and its performance improvement under various weather conditions. In this paper, an integrated framework was proposed, which achieved both maximum power point tracking （MPPT） and minimum ripple signals. The proposed control scheme was based on extremum- seeking （ES） combined with fractional order systems （FOS）. This auto-tuning strategy was developed to maximize the PV panel output power through the regulation of the voltage input to the DC/DC converter in order to lead the PV system steady-state to a stable oscillation behavior around the maximum power point （MPP）. It is shown that fractional order operators can improve the plant dynamics with respect to time response and disturbance rejection. The effectiveness of the proposed controller scheme is illustrated with simulations using measured solar radiation data.

Test complexity and test adequacy are frequently raised by software developers and testing ***,there is little research works at this aspect on specification-based testing at the use case description ***,this research proposes an automatic test cases generator approach to reduce the test complexity and to enhance the percentage of test ***,to support the infrastructure for performing automatic,this proposed approach refines the use cases using use case describing template and save it in the text ***,the saved file is input to the Algorithm of Control Flow Diagram(ACFD)to convert use case details to a control flow *** that,the Proposed Tool of Generating Test Paths(PTGTP)is used to generate test cases from the control flow ***,the genetic algorithm associated with transition coverage is adapted to optimize and evaluate the adequacy of such test cases.A money withdrawal use case in the ATM system is used as an ongoing case *** results show that the generated test cases achieve high coverage with an optimal test *** automatic test case generation approach is effective and ***,it could promote to use other test case coverage criteria.

The integration of remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)was employed in this study to delineate the structural lineaments within the eastern section of the Ouarzazate Basin,situated between the southern front of the Central High Atlas and the northern slopes of the Eastern Anti-Atlas(also known as the Saghro Massif).To achieve this objective,Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager(OLI)and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission(SRTM)data were *** Component Analysis(PCA)was computed and a directional filter was applied to the first PCA and the panchromatic band(B8).Additionally,shading was applied to the SRTM data in four directions;N0°,N45°,N90°,N135°.After removing of the non-geological linear structures,the results obtained,using the automatic extraction method,allowed us to produce a synthetic map that included 1251 lineaments with an average length of 1331 m and was dominated by NE-SW,ENE-WSW and E-W directions,***,the high lineament density is clearly noted in the Anti-Atlas(Saghro Massif)and at the level of the northern part,extending from the Ait Ibrirne to Arg-Ali Oubourk *** lineament density can always be found around the major faults affecting this *** data collected during the field investigations and from geological maps show that the major direction of the faults and structural accidents range mostly between N45°,N70°and N75°.The correlation of remote sensing results with those collected in the field shows a similarity and coincidence with each *** these results,it is possible to consider the automatic extraction method as a supplementary kind that can serve classical geology by quickly enriching it with additional *** shown in this work,this method provides more information when applied in arid areas where the fields are well outcropped.

Parabolic trough solar collectors(PTCs)are among the most cost-efficient solar thermal *** have several applications,such as feed heaters,boilers,steam generators,and electricity generators.A PTC is a concentrated solar power system that uses parabolic reflectors to focus sunlight onto a tube filled with heattransfer *** performance can be investigated using optical and thermal mathematical *** models calculate the amount of energy entering the receiver,the amount of usable collected energy,and the amount of heat loss due to convection and *** are several methods and configurations that have been developed so far;however,it is usually difficult for a designer to choose the appropriate method or configuration for his *** present work investigates different PTC configurations and methods of solution,compares their efficiency and accuracy,summarizes their key behaviors and trends,and improves the available methods by maximizing the positives and minimizing the negatives among *** investigated three methods and seven *** findings suggest that optimizing the collector structure,tracking system,and reflector can lead to high PTC performance and reduced capital *** investigating and comparing the recent mathematical models,the study identified a clear deficiency in estimating the output *** PTC’s solution methods are investigated,and a novel method is developed to give more accurate estimations of the output temperature.

Many routing protocols,such as distance vector and link-state protocols are used for nding the best paths in a *** nd the path between the source and destination nodes where every node is visited once with no repeats,Hamiltonian and Hypercube routing protocols are often ***,these algorithms are not designed to solve the problem of a node failure,where one or more nodes become *** paper proposes an efcient modied Fault-free Hamiltonian Cycle based on the Hypercube Topology(FHCHT)to perform a connection between nodes when one or more nodes become *** can be applied in a different environment to transmit data with a high-reliability connection by nding an alternative path between the source and destination nodes when some nodes ***,a proposed Hamiltonian Near Cycle(HNC)scheme has been developed and *** implementation results indicated that FHCHT produces alternative cycles relatively similar to a Hamiltonian Cycle for the Hypercube,complete,and random *** implementation of the proposed algorithm in a Hypercube achieved a 31%and 76%reduction in cost compared to the complete and random graphs,respectively.

Radio Cognitive (RC) is the new concept introduced to improve spectrum utilization in wireless communication and present important research field to resolve the spectrum scarcity problem. The powerful ability of CR to change and adapt its transmit parameters according to environmental sensed parameters, makes CR as the leading technology to manage spectrum allocation and respond to QoS provisioning. In this paper, we assume that the radio environment has been sensed and that the SU specifies QoS requirements of the wireless application. We use genetic algorithm (GA) and propose crossover method called Combined Single-Heuristic Crossover. The weighted sum multi-objective approach is used to combine performance objectives functions discussed in this paper and BER approximate formula is considered.

A novel speed control design of 4WD electric vehicle (EV) to improve the comportment and stability under different road constraints condition is presented in this paper. The control circuit using intelligent adaptive fuzzy PI controller is proposed. Parameters which guide the functioning of PI controller are dynamically adjusted with the assistance of fuzzy control. The 4WD is powered by four motors of 15 kilowatts each one, delivering a 384 N.m total torque. Its high torque (338 N.m) is instantly available to ensure responsive acceleration performance in built-up areas. The electric drive canister of tow directing wheels and tow rear propulsion wheels equipped with tow induction motors thanks to their light weight simplicity and their height performance. Acceleration and steering are ensure by electronic differential, the latter control separately deriving wheels to turn at any curve. Electric vehicle are submitted different constraint of road using direct torque control. Electric vehicle are simulated in MATLAB SIMULINK. The simulation results have proved that the intelligent fuzzy PI control method decreases the transient oscillations and assure efficiency comportment in all topologies road constraints, straight, curved road, descent.
