This paper presents an approach for shunt faults detection and classification in transmission line using Support Vector machine （SVm）. The paper compares between using three line post-fault current samples for one-half cycle and one-fourth cycle from the inception of the fault as inputs for SVm. Two SVms are used, first SVmabc is used for faulty phase detection and second SVmg is used for ground detection. SVms with polynomial kernel with different degrees are used to obtain the best classification score. The classification test results show that the proposed method is accurate and reliable.

This research study the effect of diode laser (810 nm), with various power (30, 200, 500) mW in hardness of the material used in the combinations of teeth (ceramics). Hardness was measured for dental ceramic samples divided into four groups, each group containing ten test sample, before and after it irradiated with the diode laser with wavelength 810 nm and different power (30, 200, 500) mW, with irradiation power of 200 mW for duration two minutes and ten minutes to the third and fourth groups, and irradiation power of 30 and 500 mW for duration one minute for the last two groups. The results showed that the increase in the irradiated time of the samples from two minutes to ten minutes, as well as increased power from 30 to 500 mW does not have a significant effect in increasing the hardness of the ceramic material. This study found that the hardness ratio of the samples was increased up to (18.28%), by irradiation of invisible diode laser 810 nm, 30 mW.

The decrease of wind velocity （wake losses） in downstream area of wind turbine is generally quantified using wake models. The overall estimated power of wind farm varies according to reliability of wake model used, however it＇s unclear which model is most appropriate and able to give a high performance in predicting wind velocity deficit. In this subject, a qualification of three analytical wake models （Jensen, lshihara and Frandsen） based on three principal criteria is presented in this paper：（i） the parsimony which characterizes the inverse of model complexity, （ii） the accuracy of estimation in which wake model is compared with the experimental data and （iii） imprecision that is related to assumptions and uncertainty on the value of variables considered in each model. This qualitative analysis shows the inability of wake models to predict wind velocity deficit due to the big uncertainty of variables considered and it sensitivity to wind farm characteristic.

Gain coefficients are calculated for neon-like gallium and germanium ions. Shorter wavelengths are calculated and predicted to be emitted. The gain coefficients are calculated among 457 energy levels of the neon-like ions. Collisional excitations were calculated through the distorted wave approximations through five electron temperatures Te = 300, 500, 700, 1000 and 1500 eV.

In one trial 360 gilthead bream fingerlings received two different feed mixtures containing two different levels of protein (diet A 400 and B 360 g?kg?1). The average initial live weight was about 2.2 ± 0.1 g fish?1 in each replicate of all treatments. Sixty fish per tank were stocked randomly in 6 fiberglass tanks (1 m3 each). Fish were fed with experimental diets at rate 8% of the body weight daily. The Amino Acids (AA) content was analyzed in the diets, whole fish and muscle at the end of the growth period (60 days). The results indicated that at the end of experiment gilthead bream fingerlings had reached an average live weight 18.5 and 16.2 g fish?1 for fish fed diet A and B respectively. Also the increase of protein levels in the feed to 40% caused a significant increase in the content of Indispensable Amino Acid (IAA) and dispensable amino acid (as %v of whole fish and muscle of wet weight). Two methods were subsequently used to estimate the quantitative IAA requirements of gilthead bream fry based on the hypothesis that (a) the dietary requirement pattern of IAA reflected the tissue pattern and (b) the rate of daily deposition in the fish could be equated with the dietary requirement as percentage of 100 g?1 diet. The quantitative IAA requirement (%) of gilthead bream (Sparus aurata) diets was as follow: Lysine 2.27, methionine 1.09, Therionine 0.61, Leucine 2.4, Isoleucine 0.47, Histidine1.6, Arginine 1.39, Phenylalanine 1.43, Valine 1.22 and Tryptophane 0.42.

A 3-month randomized factorial design 4 × 2 (four levels 0, 15, 30, and 45%) of wet Date (WD), two levels (0 and 0.03%) of Digestarom? (D) and three replicates. The trial was conducted in twenty four glass aquaria. Ten fingerlings of Nile tilapia were placed in each aquarium with an average weight 15.40±0.3 g fish. Fish were fed twice daily (six days a week) at a rate of 3% of body weight. The results revealed that, mean final weight (g/fish), SGR (%/day), feed conversion ratio, PPV and PER, were significantly (p ≤ 0.05) affected by the levels of WD and level of D. And the best diet achieved which containing 30% WD supplemented with 0.03% D. From the above results and the economic information of these studies it can be concluded that, diet containing 30% of WD with 0.03% D exhibited the highest net profit and would seem to be the most desirable level of WD and D in the system studied.

Influence of the Storage Duration at Different Temperatures on the Concentrations of Extractable Inorganic Soil Nutrients

The influence of the short storage periods at different temperatures on the concentrations of extractable soil cations (Ca2+, mg2+, Na+ and K+) and anions (Cl-, SO4- and PO4- ) has been investigated in nine soil samples from Nile river terraces at River Nile State, North of Sudan (17.82289 to 17.82389N and 33.99974 to 34.02127E). Each soil extract is divided into three treatments: i) control (immediately analyzed);ii) storage for 10 days and;iii) storage for 30 days. Each treatment is replicated three times: i) storage at 10°C;ii) storage at ambient laboratory temperature (25°C) and;iii) storage at 45°C in incubator. Statistical analysis of results reveals that significant difference are found at level (P - and PO4- (0.043, 0.002, 0.001, 0.021, 0.004 and 0.001) respectively at 25°C and 45°C and storage periods of 10 and 30 days. In contrast, significant difference is also found at level (P - concentrations are significantly decreased when the storage period exceeds 10 days and temperature more than 25°C. Depending upon our study results;we conclude that, all extractable inorganic nutrients are clearly affected by storage periods at various temperatures, exception of Na+. most cations and anions are increased significantly with increased of storage period and temperatures. We therefore highly recommend that the extractable inorganic soil nutrients should be rapidly analyzed in order to obtain accurate results;otherwise, the time between extraction and analysis should be carefully recorded which may help considerably interpreting data from various studies.
