The electrochemical utilization of Zn anodes in aqueous batteries is hampered by the intricate and interconnected issues of Zn dendrite growth,H2evolution and Zn corrosion *** this study,a multifunctional protective layer comprising MXene and graphitic carbon nitride （g-C3N4） was constructed using a self-assembly *** MXene/g-C3N4protective layer exhibited robust zincophilic characteristics,which facilitated a uniform distribution of the electric field and ensured a sufficient influx of Zn2+.This reduces the Zn2+nucleation barrier and prevents dendrite *** addition,the hydrophobic nature of the protective layer,coupled with its negative charge,can repel SO42-and select water molecules from the electrolyte,which aids in mitigating corrosion and *** symmetric Zn cell coated with the MXene/g-C3N4protective layer showed remarkable stability,achieving over 2000 h of reversible cycling at1 mA·***,the MXene/g-C3N4-coated Zn anode paired with a sodium-doped V2O5cathode （NVO）exhibited enhanced cycling capability over 1500 cycles.

Impaired brain glucose metabolism is an early indicator of Alzheimer’s disease(AD);however,the fundamental mechanism is *** this study,we found a substantial decline in isocitrate dehydrogenase 3β(IDH3β)levels,a critical tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme,in AD patients and AD-transgenic mice’s *** investigations demonstrated that the knockdown of IDH3βinduced oxidation-phosphorylation uncoupling,leading to reduced energy metabolism and lactate *** resulting increased lactate,a source of lactyl,was found to promote histone lactylation,thereby enhancing the expression of paired-box gene 6(PAX6).As an inhibitory transcription factor of IDH3β,the elevated PAX6 in turn inhibited the expression of IDH3β,leading to tau hyperphosphorylation,synapse impairment,and learning and memory deficits resembling those seen in *** AD-transgenic mice,upregulating IDH3βand downregulating PAX6 were found to improve cognitive functioning and reverse AD-like ***,our data suggest that impaired oxidative phosphorylation accelerates AD progression via a positive feedback inhibition loop of IDH3β-lactate-PAX6-IDH3β.Breaking this loop by upregulating IDH3βor downregulating PAX6 attenuates AD neurodegeneration and cognitive impairments.

The rice stem borer(RSB),Chilo suppressalis,a notorious rice pest in China,has evolved a high resistance level to commonly used ***,a new anthranilic diamide insecticide,effectively controls multiple pests,including ***,the potential resistance risk of RSB to tetraniliprole is still *** this study,the tetraniliprole-selection(Tet-R)strain was obtained through 10 continuous generations of selection with tetraniliprole 30%lethal concentration(LC_(30)).The realized heritability(h^(2))of the Tet-R strain was 0.387,indicating that resistance of RSB to tetraniliprole developed rapidly under the continuous selection of *** Tet-R strain had a high fitness cost(relative fitness=0.53).We established the susceptibility baseline of RSB to tetraniliprole(lethal concentration at LC_(50)=0.727 mg/L)and investigated the resistance level of 6 field populations to *** tested strains that had resistance to chlorantraniliprole exhibited moderate-to high-level resistance to tetraniliprole(resistance ratio=27.7-806.8).Detection of ryanodine receptor(RyR)mutations showed that the Y4667C,Y4667D,I4758M,and Y4891F mutations were present in tested RSB field *** mutations were responsible for the cross-resistance between tetraniliprole and ***,the clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9-mediated genome-modified flies were used to study the contribution of RyR mutations to tetraniliprole *** order of contribution of a single RyR mutation to tetraniliprole resistance was Y4667D>G4915E>Y4667C~~I4758M>*** addition,the I4758M and Y4667C double mutations conferred higher tetraniliprole resistance than single Y4667C *** results can guide resistance management practices for diamides in RSB and other arthropods.

Full utilization of the excited species at both singlet states(1R*)and triplet states(3R*)is crucial to improving electrochemiluminescence(ECL)efficiency but is challenging for organic luminescent ***,an aggregation-induced delayed ECL(aiDECL)active organic dot(OD)containing a benzophenone acceptor and dimethylacridine donor is reported,which shows high ECL efficiency via reverse intersystem crossing(RISC)of non-emissive 3R*to emissive 1R*,overcoming the spin-forbidden radiative decay from 3R*.By introducing dual donor-acceptor pairs into luminophores,it is found that nonradiative pathway could be further suppressed via enhanced intermolecular weak interactions,and multiple spin-up conversion channels could be *** a consequence,the obtained OD enjoys a 6.8-fold higher ECL efficiency relative to the control aiDECL-active ***-crystal studies and theoretical calculations reveal that the enhanced aiDECL behaviors come from the acceleration of both radiative transition and *** work represents a major step towards purely organic,high-efficiency ECL dyes and a direction for the design of next-generation ECL dyes at the molecular level.

Wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)are important and energy-intensive municipal *** energy consumption and relatively low operating performance are major challenges from the perspective of carbon ***,water-energy nexus analysis and models for WWTPs have rarely been reported to *** this study,a cloud-model-based energy consumption analysis(CMECA)of a WWTP was conducted to explore the relationship between influent and energy consumption by clustering its influent’s *** principal component analysis(PCA)and K-means clustering were applied to classify the influent condition using water quality and volume *** energy consumption of the WWTP is divided into five standard evaluation levels,and its cloud digital characteristics(CDCs)were extracted according to bilateral constraints and golden ratio *** results showed that the energy consumption distribution gradually dispersed and deviated from the Gaussian distribution with decreased water concentration and *** days with high energy efficiency were extracted via the clustering method from the influent category of excessive energy consumption,represented by a compact-type energy consumption distribution curve to identify the influent conditions that affect the steady distribution of energy *** local WWTP has high energy consumption with 0.3613 kW·h·m^(-3)despite low influent concentration and volumes,across four consumption levels from low(I)to relatively high(IV),showing an unsatisfactory operation and management *** average oxygenation capacity,internal reflux ratio,and external reflux ratio during high energy efficiency days recognized by further clustering were obtained(0.2924-0.3703 kg O_(2)·m^(-3),1.9576-2.4787,and 0.6603-0.8361,respectively),which could be used as a guide for the days with low energy ***,this study offers a water-energy nexus analysis method to identify influent conditions with operational manageme

Purpose:Internal iliac artery ligation(IIAL)has been used as a damage control procedure to treat hemodynamically unstable pelvic fracture for many ***,there is ongoing debate regarding the effectiveness and safety of this hemostatic ***,we performed a systematic literature review to assess the efficacy and safety of IIAL for pelvic fracture ***:Three major databases,PubMed,Embase,and Google Scholar,were searched to screen eligible original studies published in English *** reviewers independently read the titles,abstracts,and full texts of all *** were included if they reported the use and effects of ***:A total of 171 articles were initially identified,with 22 fully meeting the inclusion *** the analyzed cases,up to 66.7%of patients had associated abdominal and pelvic organ injuries,with the urethra being the most frequently injured organ,followed by the *** outcomes of IIAL for achieving hemostasis in pelvic fractures were found to be satisfactory,with an effective rate of 80%.Hemorrhagic shock was the leading cause of death,followed by craniocerebral ***,no reports of ischemic complications involving the pelvic organs due to IIAL were ***:IIAL has a good effect in treating hemodynamically unstable pelvic fracture without the risk of pelvic organ *** procedure should be considered a priority for hemodynamically unstable pelvic fracture patients with abdominal organ injuries.

The evolution of ablative Rayleigh–Taylor instability(ARTI)induced by single-mode stationary and time-varying perturbations in heat flux is studied numerically in two *** with the stationary case,time-varying heat-flux perturbation mitigates ARTI growth because of the enhanced thermal smoothing induced by the wave-like traveling heat flux.A resonance is found to form when the phase velocity of the heat-flux perturbation matches the average sound speed in the ablation *** the resonant regime,the coherent density and temperature fluctuations enhance the electron thermal conduction in the ablation region and lead to larger ablation pressure and effective acceleration,which consequently yield higher linear growth rate and saturated bubble *** enhanced effective acceleration offers increased implosion velocity but can also compromise the integrity of inertial confinement fusion shells by causing faster ARTI growth.
