This research is focused on the analysis of the sequence stratigraphic units of F3 Block,within a wave-dominated delta of Plio–Pleistocene *** wells of F3 block and a 3D seismic data,are utilized in this *** conventional techniques of 3D seismic interpretation were utilized to mark the 11 surfaces on the seismic *** of seismic sequence stratigraphic interpretation,using well logs,and subsequent 3D geostatistical modeling,using seismic data,aided to evaluate the shallow hydrocarbon *** resulting models were obtained using System Tract and Facies models,which were generated by using sequential stimulation method and their variograms made by spherical method,moreover,these models are validated via *** CDF curve generated from upscaling of well logs using geometric method,shows a good relation with less percentage of errors(1 to 2 for Facies and 3 to 4 for System Tract models)between upscaled and raw data that complements the resulted *** approaches help us to delineate the best possible reservoir,lateral extent of system tracts(LST and/or HST)in the respective surface,and distribution of sand and shale in the *** clinoform break points alteration observed on seismic sections,also validates the sequence stratigraphic *** GR log-based Facies model and sequence stratigraphy-based System Tract model of SU-04-2 showed the reservoir characteristics,presence of sand bodies and majorly LST,respectively,mainly adjacent to the main fault of the studied ***,on the seismic section,SU-04-2 exhibits the presence of gas pockets at the same location that also complements the generated Facies and System Tract *** generated models can be utilized for any similar kind of study and for the further research in the F3 block reservoir characterization.

Robotic assisted laparoscopic simple suprapubic prostatectomy--The Smith Institute for Urology experience with an evolving technique

Identification and expression analysis of Tubulin gene family in upland cotton

Physical Properties of Ⅲ-Antiminodes—a First Principles Study

A comprehensive first principles study of III-Antimonide binary compounds is hardly found in literature. We report a broad study of structural and electronic properties of boron antimonide （BSb）, aluminium antimonide （AlSb）, gallium antimonide （GaSb） and indium antimonide （InSb） in zineblende phase based on density functional theory （DFT）. Our calculations are based on Full-PotentiM Lineaxized Augmented Plane wave plus local orbitals （FP- L（APWq-lo）） method. Different forms of exchange-correlation energy functional and corresponding potential are employed for structural and electronic properties. Our computed results for lattice parameters, bulk moduli, their pressure derivatives, and cohesive energy are consistent with the available experimental data. Boron antimonide is found to be the hardest compound of this group. For band structure calculations, in addition to LDA and GGA, we used GGA-EV, an approximation employed by Engel and Vosko. The band gap results with GGA-EV are of significant improvement over the earlier work.

High HbA1c is associated with higher risk of ischaemic stroke in Pakistani population without diabetes

Context:The role of glycated haemoglobin(HbA1c)in the prediction of ischaemic stroke in individuals without diabetes is ***:We performed a study to analyse the role of HbA1c in the risk prediction of ischaemic stroke in Pakistani population without *** further studied the difference between HbA1c values of individuals with diabetes and without diabetes with *** and design:Single centre,case–*** and methods:In phase I,a total of 233 patients without diabetes with ischaemic stroke and 245 as controls were *** of HbA1c levels,lipid profiles and blood pressure recordings with ischaemic stroke was *** phase II,comparison was done between diabetics and nondiabetics with *** analysis:Comparison of the mean variables was performed with Student’s *** regression analysis with ischaemic stroke as the dependent variable was performed for phase ***:In phase I,the ischaemic stroke group had significantly higher HbA1c levels(5.9±2.9%vs 5.5±1.6%)compared with controls(p0.05).Conclusions:Higher HbA1c indicated a significantly increased risk for ischaemic *** HbA1c value above 5.6%(prediabetic range)predicted future risk of stroke and efforts to maintain glucose level within the normal range(≤5.6%)in individuals with high cardiovascular risk are important.

In vivo immunomodulatory profile of histamine receptors(H1,H2,H3 and H4):a comparative antagonists study

Objective:To delineate the comparative immunomodulatory roles of H1R-H4R in antibody generation profile in rabbit ***:The cohort comprised of eight groups containing 18(9 male and 9 female) rabbits in each ***Ⅰremained non-immunized and received only vehicle(sterile distilled water,1 mL/kg×b.i.d.) ***Ⅱreceived vehicle (1 mL/kg×b.i.d.) while GroupsⅢ-Ⅶ(drugs-treated) received subcutaneous histamine (100μg/kg×b.i.d.),and intramuscular H1R-antagonist(pheniramine,10 mg/kg×b.i.d.), H2R-antagonist(ranitidine,10 mg/kg×b.i.d.),H3R-antagonist(iodophenpropit,1μg/kg×b.i.d.) and H4R-antagonist(JNJ 7777120,10μg/kg×b.i.d.),and GroupⅧDMSO(1 mL/kg×b.i.d.),respectively for 10 days(starting from day 1).They were subsequendy immunized with intravenous injection of sheep red blood cells(SRBC) at day *** estimation of serum Igs,IgM and IgG were done by ELISA,and observed at day 0(pre-immunization),and 7,14,21,28 and 58(post-immunization).Results:It was shown that histamine and HRs-antagonists could influence a detectable antibody response to SRBC as early as day 7-post-immunization(post-Ⅰ), which lasted until day 58 post-Ⅰ.The results were found statistically significant(P<0.05,). Conclusions:This study suggests that histamine receptors play important roles in modulation of antibody generation in which H1R,H2R and H4R have immunosuppressive roles and conversely, H3R playes an immune enhancing *** findings of this study may have clinical significance and provide the baseline information for future study.

Object recognition and tracking are two of the most dynamic research sub-areas that belong to the field of Computer *** vision is one of the most active research fields that lies at the intersection of deep learning and machine *** paper presents an efficient ensemble algorithm for the recognition and tracking of fixed shapemoving objects while accommodating the shift and scale invariances that the object may *** first part uses the Maximum Average Correlation Height(MACH)filter for object recognition and determines the bounding box *** case the correlation based MACH filter fails,the algorithms switches to a much reliable but computationally complex feature based object recognition technique i.e.,affine scale invariant feature transform(ASIFT).ASIFT is used to accommodate object shift and scale object *** extracts certain features from the object of interest,providing invariance in up to six affine parameters,namely translation(two parameters),zoom,rotation and two camera axis ***,in this paper,only the shift and scale invariances are *** second part of the algorithm demonstrates the use of particle filters based Approximate Proximal Gradient(APG)technique to periodically update the coordinates of the object encapsulated in the bounding *** the end,a comparison of the proposed algorithm with other stateof-the-art tracking algorithms has been presented,which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm with respect to the minimization of tracking errors.

Objective:To explore the exact role of histamine receptors in respiratory ***: The cohort comprised of six groups(group I control and groupⅡ—Ⅳtreated) containing five rabbits in each ***-group received vehicle(sterile distilled water) and treated groups received subcutaneous histamine(100μg/kg,b.i.d.),and H1R-agonist(HTMT),H2R-agonist (amthamine),H3R-agonist(R-(-)-α-methylhistamine) and H4R-agonist(clobenpropit) each in a dose of 10μg/kg,*** 30 subsequent *** completion of treatment,animals were euthanized and perfused with 10% buffered *** tissue blocks of trachea and lungs were processed for paraffin *** were recorded in sample photomicrographs taken from 10μm *** and eosin stained ***:It was observed that trachea and bronchi from histamine,H1R and H4R groups had only patches of hyperplastic and hypertrophied epithelium and in general,cells in the affected region were taller heaped up. The bronchiolar epithelia from all treated groups showed hypertrophy and hyperplasia throughout with most of the cells having rounded profile and appeared to bud out from the basal cells. Conclusions:It is concluded that histamine receptors on induction via its specific agonist can induce hypertrophy,hyperplasia of respiratory tract epithelia suggesting its role akin to growth stimulating factor and warranting further long-term study.

BACKGROUND Clostridium difficile infection(CDI)occurs due to a dysbiosis in the *** appendix is considered a‘safe house’for gut microbiota and may help repopulate gut flora of patients with *** To study the impact of prior appendectomy on the severity and outcomes of *** We retrospectively reviewed data of 1580 patients with CDI,admitted to our hospital between 2008 to *** were grouped based on the presence or absence of the *** primary aim was to(1)assess all-cause mortality and(2)the severity of *** was defined as per the Infectious Diseases Society of America *** regression,and propensity score analysis using inverse probability of treatment weights(IPTW)was *** Of the 1580 patients,12.5%had a history of *** was no statistical difference in mortality between patients with a prior appendectomy or without(13.7%vs 14%,P=0.877).However,a history of appendectomy affected the severity of CDI[odds ratio(OR)=1.32,95%confidence interval:1.01-1.75].On IPTW,this association remained significant(OR=1.59,P<0.05).On multivariable toxic megacolon(OR=5.37,P<0.05)and colectomy(OR=2.77,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Prior appendectomy may affect the severity of CDI,development of toxic megacolon and the eventual need for *** treatment of CDI is governed by its severity,stronger antibiotic regimens or earlier use of fecal microbiota transplant may be a viable option for patients with prior appendectomy.
