Comparative analysis of frictional behavior and mechanism of molybdenum ditelluride with different structures

two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(tMDCs)have layered structures with excellent tribological *** the energy difference between hexagonal-molybdenum ditelluride(2H-Mote_(2))and distorted octahedral-molybdenum ditelluride(1t′-Mote_(2))is very small among the transition metal dichalcogenides(tMDCs),Mote_(2) becomes one of the most promising candidates for phase *** our experiment,we found that the friction force and friction coefficient(COF)of 2H-Mote_(2) were an order of magnitude smaller than those of 1t′-Mote_(2) by the atomic force microscope(AFM)*** friction difference between 1t′-Mote_(2) and 2H-Mote_(2) was further verified in molecular dynamics(MD)*** density functional theory(DFt)calculations suggest that the friction contrast is related to the difference in sliding energy barrier of the potential energy surface(PES)for a tip sliding across the *** PES obtained from the DFt calculation indicates that the maximum energy barrier and the minimum energy path(MEP)energy barrier of 2H-Mote_(2) are both smaller than those of 1t′-Mote_(2),which means that less energy needs to be dissipated during the sliding *** difference in energy barrier of the PES could be ascribed to its larger interlayer spacing and weaker Mo–te interatomic interactions within the layers of 2H-Mote_(2) than those of 1t′-Mote_(2).the obvious friction difference between 1t′-Mote_(2) and 2H-Mote_(2) not only provides a new non-destructive means to detect the phase transition by the AFM,but also provides a possibility to tune friction by controlling the phase transition,which has the potential to be applied in extreme environments such as space lubrication.

BACKGROUND the exercise of limb function is the most economical and safe method to promote the maturation of arteriovenous fistula(AVF).However,due to the lack of a uni-fied exercise standard in China,many patients have insufficient awareness of the importance of AVF,leading to poor effectiveness of limb function *** self-management education model can effectively promote patients to take pro-active health-related *** study focuses on the characteristics of patients during the peri-AVF period and conducts a phased limb function exercise under the guidance of the self-management education model to observe changes in fac-tors such as the maturity of *** to assess the impact of stage-specific limb function exercises,directed by a self-management education model,on the maturation status of *** this study is a randomized controlled trial involving 74 patients with forearm AVFs from the Nephrology Department of a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province,*** were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table *** observation group underwent tailored stage-specific limb func-tion exercises,informed by a self-management education model which took into account the unique features of AVF at various stages,in conjunction with routine ***,the control group was given standard limb function exercises along with routine *** assessment involves the maturity of AVFs post-intervention,post-operative complications,and the self-management level of the fistula in both groups *** were conducted using SPSS version *** data were represented by frequency and percentage and subjected to chi-square test *** data adhering to a normal distribution were presented as mean±*** independent samples t-test was utilized for inter-group comparisons,while the paired t-test was used for intra-group *** measurement data not fitting a normal distr

Achieving high heat-resisting room temperature phosphorescence(RtP)performance and robust white emission from pure small molecules is a meaningful but challenging ***,a simple donor-acceptor(D-A)molecule,9-(1H-benzotriazol-1-ylmethyl)-9H-carbazole(CzBtrz),was *** simple molecule not only exhibits multiple emissions including white light,thermally activated delayed fluorescence(tADF)and ultralong RtP with a lifetime of 988.54 ms at 545 nm,but also shows superhigh heat-resisting phosphorescence property which can maintain stability in a large temperature region from 77 to 350 K(Δt=273 K),exceeding those of other RtP ***,this molecule shows the time-evolved dynamic *** experimental and theoretical an-alyses from CzBtrz crystal demonstrate that the intramolecular charge transfer(ICt)interaction and molecular stacking play an important role in the generation of ***,this work provides an efficient strategy to design ultrahigh heat-resistant RtP,ultralong RtP and single-phased white-light emitting materials.

Surface metallization of glass fiber(GF)/polyetheretherketone(PEEK)[GF/PEEK] is conducted by coating copper using electroplating and magnetron sputtering and the properties are determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).the coating bonding strength is assessed by pull-out tests and scribing in accordance with GB/t *** results show that the Cu coating with a thickness of 30 μm deposited on GF/PEEK by magnetron sputtering has lower roughness, finer grain size, higher crystallinity, as well as better macroscopic compressive stress,bonding strength, and electrical conductivity than the Cu coating deposited by electroplating.

the external stimulus response strategy has been evolved rapidly in the field of olefin *** this work,we modularly synthesized three types of double stimulus responsiveα-diimine palladium catalysts,combining redox regulation and other regulation together,such as light,Lewis acid and alkali *** catalytic activities and the molecular weight of polyethylene products can be regulated for 4 times in ethylene *** palladium complexes were also used for the copolymerization reaction of ethylene and polar monomers,such as methyl 10-undecylenate and methyl acrylate,effectively regulating the catalytic activities,the molecular weight and polar monomer incorporation of the prepared *** research on these dual-regulated palladium complexes makes full use of prepared catalysts and provides new inspirations for regulating olefin polymerization.

Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation is widely used in plant genetic ***,its efficiency is limited by plant immunity against *** pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)is an important vegetable that is recalcitrant to Agrobacterium-mediated *** this work,Agrobacterium was found to induce a strong immune response in pepper,which might be the reason for t-DNA being difficult to express in *** Agrobacterium mutant screen was conducted and a point mutation in the hisI gene was identified due to a weak immune response and enhanced transient expression mediated by this Agrobacterium mutant in pepper *** genetic analysis revealed that histidine biosynthesis deficiency caused by mutations in many genes of this pathway led to reduced pepper cell death,presumably due to reduced bacterial ***,mutation analysis of threonine and tryptophan biosynthesis genes showed that the biosynthesis of different amino acids may play different roles in Agrobacterium growth and stimulating the pepper immune *** possible application of Agrobacterium amino acid biosynthesis mutations in plant biology was discussed.

the ozone(O_(3))pollution in China drew lots of attention in recent years,and the Sichuan Basin(SCB)was one of the regions confronting worsening O_(3)pollution *** previous studies have shown that regional transport is an important contributor to O_(3)***,very few features of the O_(3)profile during transport have been reported,especially in the border regions between different administrative *** this study,we conducted tethered balloon soundings in SCB during the summer of 2020 and captured a nocturnal O_(3)transport event during the ***,the O_(3)transport occurred in the bottom of the residual layer,between 200 and 500 m above ground ***,the transport pathway was directed from southeast to northwest based on the analysis of the wind field and air mass *** effect of transport in the residual layer on the surface O_(3)concentration was related to the spatial distribution of O_(3).For cities with high O_(3)concentrations in the upwind region,the transport process would bring clean air masses and abate *** downwind lightly polluted cities,the transport process would slow down the decreasing or even increase the surface O_(3)concentration during the *** provided observational facts on the profile features of a transboundary O_(3)transport event between two provincial administrative divisions,which implicated the importance of joint prevention and control ***,the sounding parameters were limited and the quantitative analysis was preliminary,more integrated,and thorough studies of this topic were called for in the future.
