A frequency domain analysis is presented to determine the performance characteristics of a tunable all-optical wavelength converter using four-wave mixing (FWM) in a single mode fiber (SMF) around the zero dispersion wavelength using two pump lasers. The output converted signal power as well as efficiency evaluated at a bit rate of 10 Gb/s show that the signal power is substantially higher at lower values of wavelength separation.

根据微电网的特点,提出将微电网功率可调节裕度指标引入到微电网综合脆弱度指标之中,建立了更为完善的微电网脆弱度指标体系,使其更能反映当前微电网的稳定状态;并将微电网重构须遵循的组网规则以组网约束的形式引入到动态重构的约束条件之中,使得重构后的微电网更具有可运行性;针对孤岛运行的微电网,提出了基于脆弱度分层的微电网分级优化动态重构策略。根据当前微电网脆弱度大小所反映的微电网安全稳定状态的轻重缓急,将微电网重构按照经济性重构、稳定经济性重构和紧急稳定性重构分为三个层次,每层侧重于不同的优化目标,有利于确保系统安全性的基础上提高系统运行的经济性;为提高重构的实时性,提出了基于约束条件分级的优化方法,并应用到每一层重构的优化过程之中,先行处理不涉及潮流计算的约束判断,使得只有满足先行级约束的方案进入后续级优化,可大大减少计算量。算例结果验证了所提方法的有效性。

bACKGROUND Although cholecystectomy is the standard treatment modality,it has been shown that perioperative mortality is approaching 19 To in critical and elderly *** cholecystostomy (PC) can be considered as a safer option with a significantly lower complication rate in these *** To assess the clinical course of acute cholecystitis (AC) in patients we treated with *** The study included 82 patients with GradeⅠ,Ⅱ or Ⅲ AC according to the Tokyo Guidelines 2018 (TG18) and treated with *** patients’demographic and clinical features,laboratory parameters,and radiological findings were retrospectively obtained from their medical *** Eighty-two patients,45 (54.9%) were male,and the median age was 76 (35-98)*** to TG18,25 patients (30.5%) had Grade Ⅰ,34 (41.5%) Grade Ⅱ,and 23 (28%) Grade Ⅲ *** American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)physical status score was Ⅲ or more in 78 patients (95.%).The patients,who had been treated with PC,were divided into two groups:discharged patients and those who died in *** groups statistically significantly differed only concerning the ASA score (P=0.0001) and WbCC (P=0.025).Two months after discharge,two patients (3%) were readmitted with AC,and the intervention was *** of the discharged patients (13.6%) underwent interval open cholecystectomy or laparoscopic cholecystectomy (8/1) within six to eight weeks after *** median follow-up time of these patients was 128 (12-365) wk,and their median lifetime was 36 (1-332) *** For high clinical success in AC treatment,PC is recommended for high-risk patients with moderate-severe AC according to TG18,elderly patients,and especially those with ASA scores of≥Ⅲ.According to our results,PC,a safe,effective and minimally invasive treatment,should be preferred in cases suffering from AC with high risk of mortality associated with cholecystectomy.

both numerical and experimental studies of the stability and electronic properties of barium–sodium metaborate ba_(2)Na_(3)(b_(3)O_(6))_(2)F(P63/m) at pressures up to 10 GPa have been carried out. Electronic-structure calculations with HSE06 hybrid functional showed that ba_(2)Na_(3)(b_(3)O_(6))_(2)F has an indirect band gap of 6.289 eV. A numerical study revealed the decomposition of ba_(2)Na_(3)(b_(3)O_(6))_(2)F into the bab_(2)O_(4),Na bO_(2), and NaF phases above 3.4 GPa at 300 K. Subsequent high-pressure high-temperature experiments performed using ‘Discoverer-1500’DIA-type apparatus at pressures of 3 and 6 GPa and temperature of 1173 K confirmed the stability of ba_(2)Na_(3)(b_(3)O_(6))_(2)F at 3 GPa and its decomposition into bab_(2)O_(4), NabO_(2), and NaF at 6 GPa, which was verified by energy-dispersive X-ray analysis and Raman spectroscopy. The observed Raman bands of the ba_(2)Na_(3)(b_(3)O_(6))_(2)F phase were assigned by comparing the experimental and calculated spectra. The experimental Raman spectra of decomposition reaction products obtained at 6 GPa suggest the origin of a new high-pressure modification of barium metaborate bab_(2)O_(4).

Lactiplantibacillus plantarum is a significant probiotic where it could be found in ubiquitous *** this study,a new *** strain DY46 was isolated from a traditional lactic-acid-fermented beverage called *** whole genome of the DY46 was sequenced and obtained sequences were assembled into a 3.32 Mb draft genome using PATRIC(3.6.8.).The DY46 genome consists of a single circular chromosome of 3,332,827 bp that is predicted to carry 3219 genes,including 61 tRNA genes,2 rRNA *** genome has a GC content of 44.3%includes 98 predicted pseudogenes,25 complete or partial transposases and 3 intact *** genes encoding enzymes related in the intact EMP(Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas)and PK(phosphoketolase)pathways were predicted using blastKOALA which is an indicator of having facultative heterofermentative ***46 genome also predicted to carry genes of Pln E,Pln F and Pln K showing the antimicrobial potential of this bacterium which can be linked to in vitro antagonism tests that DY46 can inhibit *** *** ATCC14028,*** ATCC13883,and *** ***,it is determined that all resistome found in its genome were intrinsically originated and the strain was found to be tolerant to acid and bile concentrations by mimicking human gastrointestinal *** conclusion,*** DY46 is a promising bacterium that appears to have certain probiotic properties,confirmed by“in vitro”and“in silico”analyses,and is a potential dietary supplement candidate that may provide functional benefits to the host.

Ammonia borane(NH_(3)bH_(3))is a reducing agent,able to trap and convert carbon *** the present work,we used a reactive solid consisting of a mixture of 90 wt.%of NH_(3)bH_(3)and 10 wt.%of palladium chloride,because the mixture reacts in a fast and exothermic way while releasing H2 and generating catalytic *** took advantage of such reactivity to trap and convert CO_(2)(7 bar),knowing besides that Pd0 is a CO_(2)hydrogenation *** operation(*** 1)was effective:bNH polymers,and b−O,C=O,C−O,and C−H bonds(like in bOCH_(3)and bOOCH groups)were *** then(in stage 2)pyrolyzed the as-obtained solid at 1250℃ and washed it with *** doing so,we isolated cyclotriboric acid H_(3)b3O6(stemming from b2O3 formed at 1250℃),hexagonal boron nitride,and graphitic *** conclusion,the stage 1 showed that CO_(2)can be‘trapped’and converted,resulting in the formation of bOCH_(3)and bOOCH groups(possible sources of methanol and formic acid),and the stage 2 showed that CO_(2)transforms into graphitic carbon.

This paper presents an improved group search optimizer(iGSO) for solving mechanical design optimization *** the proposed algorithm,subpopulations and a co-operation evolutionary strategy were adopted to improve the global search capability and convergence *** iGSO is evaluated on two optimization problems of classical mechanical design:spring and pressure *** experimental results are analyzed in comparison with those reported in the *** results show that iGSO has much better convergence performance and is easier to implement in comparison with other existing evolutionary algorithms.

It was hypothesized that mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) could provide necessary trophic factors when seeded onto the surfaces of commonly used nerve graft substitutes. We aimed to determine the gene expression of MSCs when influenced by Avance■ Nerve Grafts or Neura Gen■ Nerve Guides. Human adipose-derived MSCs were cultured and dynamically seeded onto 30 Avance■ Nerve Grafts and 30 Neura Gen■ Nerve Guides for 12 hours. At six time points after seeding, quantitative polymerase chain reaction analyses were performed for five samples per group. Neurotrophic [nerve growth factor(NGF), glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF), pleiotrophin(PTN), growth associated protein 43(GAP43) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(bDNF)], myelination [peripheral myelin protein 22(PMP22) and myelin protein zero(MPZ)], angiogenic [platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1(PECAM1/CD31) and vascular endothelial cell growth factor alpha(VEGFA)], extracellular matrix(ECM) [collagen type alpha I(COL1A1), collagen type alpha III(COL3A1), Fibulin 1(FbLN1) and laminin subunit beta 2(LAMb2)] and cell surface marker cluster of differentiation 96(CD96) gene expression was quantified. Unseeded Avance■ Nerve Grafts and Neura Gen■ Nerve Guides were used to evaluate the baseline gene expression, and unseeded MSCs provided the baseline gene expression of MSCs. The interaction of MSCs with the Avance■ Nerve Grafts led to a short-term upregulation of neurotrophic(NGF, GDNF and bDNF), myelination(PMP22 and MPZ) and angiogenic genes(CD31 and VEGFA) and a long-term upregulation of bDNF, VEGFA and COL1A1. The interaction between MSCs and the Neura Gen■ Nerve Guide led to short term upregulation of neurotrophic(NGF, GDNF and bDNF) myelination(PMP22 and MPZ), angiogenic(CD31 and VEGFA), ECM(COL1A1) and cell surface(CD96) genes and long-term upregulation of neurotrophic(GDNF and bDNF), angiogenic(CD31 and VEGFA), ECM genes(COL1A1, COL3A1, and FbLN1) and cell surface(CD96) genes. Practice parameters for the use of actigraphy in the military operational context: the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research Operational Research Kit-Actigraphy(WORK-A)

background: The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research(WRAIR) Operational Research Kit-Actigraphy(WORK-A) is a set of unique practice parameters and actigraphy-derived measures for the analysis of operational military sleep patterns. The WORK-A draws on best practices from the literature and comprises 15 additional descriptive variables. Here, we demonstrate the WORK-A with a sample of United States Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps(ROTC) cadets(n=286) during a month-long capstone pre-commissioning training ***: The sleep of ROTC cadets(n=286) was measured by Philips Actiwatch devices during the 31-day training exercise. The preliminary effectiveness of the WORK-A was tested by comparing differences in sleep measures collected by Actiwatches as calculated by Philips Actiware software against WORK-A-determined sleep measures and self-report sleep collected from a subset of ROTC cadets(n=140).Results: Actiware sleep summary statistics were significantly different from WORK-A measures and self-report sleep(P≤0.001). bedtimes and waketimes as determined by WORK-A major sleep intervals showed the best agreement with self-report bedtime(22:21±1:30 vs. 22:13±0:40, P=0.21) and waketime(04:30±2:17 vs. 04:31±0:47, P=0.68). Though still significantly different, the discrepancy was smaller between the WORK-A measure of time in bed(TIb) for major sleep intervals(352±29) min and self-report nightly sleep duration [(337±57) min, P=0.006] than that between the WORK-A major TIb and Actiware TIb [(177±42) min, P≤0.001].Conclusions: Default actigraphy methods are not the most accurate methods for characterizing soldier sleep, but reliable methods for characterizing operational sleep patterns is a necessary first step in developing strategies to improve soldier readiness. The WORK-A addresses this knowledge gap by providing practice parameters and a robust variety of measures with which to profile sleep behavior in service members.
