This study aims to evaluate the association between social determinants,environmental exposure metrics,and the risk of asthma emergency department(ED)visits in the New York State(NYS)Medicaid population using smallarea *** densities for each census tract in NYS were calculated using the length of road segments within each tract and total area of the tract to produce a measure of average number of vehicles per square meter per *** on social determinants of health including internal and external environments and other demographic factors were obtained from various *** regression analyses were conducted to identify significant factors associated with asthma ED visits in Medicaid claim and encounter data for years 2005–*** traffic density in NYS excluding New York City(NYC)correlated with increased risk of asthma ED visits(RR 1.69;95%CI:1.42,2.00),mitigated by adjusting for environmental and social determinants(RR 1.00;95%CI:0.85,1.19).Similar trends were observed in NYC only(RR 1.19;95%CI:1.00,1.41),with the adjusted risk remaining elevated(RR 1.14;95%CI:0.98,1.33)albeit not statistically *** in census tracts with high concentrated disadvantage index,high proportions of minorities,and less green space predicted higher asthma ED *** mapped predicted rates and model residuals to identify areas of high *** results support previous findings that environmental and social risk factors in poor and urban areas contribute to asthma exacerbations in the NYS Medicaid population,even if they may not necessarily contribute to its development.

A total hysterectomy is a common *** to published data,in the European Union,laparoscopic and laparoscopicassisted hysterectomies are performed more frequently than abdominal hysterectomies.A newtechnique in endoscopic surgery is the natural orifice approach-vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(vNOTES).Performing a hysterectomy using the vNOTES method hasa numberofadvantages compared with the traditional one,including a decrease in the intensity of pain in the early postoperative period,the absence of a cosmeticdefect on the anterior abdominal wall and improved visualisation,which reduces the risk of intraoperative complications.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has a high incidence and mortality that epitomizes one of the prominent causes of cancer-related death *** therapeutic approaches are therefore *** oxygen species(ROS)are necessary for maintaining cell *** ROS is involved in HCC progression,hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)has anti-proliferative effect on ***:HCC Huh-7 cells were cultured and incubated with various concentrations of *** activity,levels of malondialdehyde,glutathione and protein oxidation were measured in treated and untreated Huh-7 ***,untreated and treated Huh-7 cells were subjected to two dimensional gel electrophoresis and identified protein spots which were differentially expressed by LC-MS/MS analysis.q RT-PCR was performed to validate the identified ***:H2O2 depleted glutathione(GSH)with the concomitant up-regulation of GSTP1 and Prx2.H2O2 also increased malondialdehyde and protein oxidation,decreased the activity of paraoxonase in Huh-7 ***:H2O2 could be used as a novel therapeutic agent that might be beneficial in inducing cell cytotoxicity and hence suppress HCC proliferation.

Binding of circulating autoantibodies in breast cancer to native and peroxynitrite-modified RNA

Peroxynitrite （ONOO-） is a powerful oxidant and nitrosative agent and has in vivo existence. The half life of ONOO- at physiological pH is less than 1 s. It can react with nucleic acids, proteins, lipoproteins, saccharides, cardi- olipin, etc., and can modify their native structures. Action of ONOO-, synthesized in the authors＇ laboratory by a rapid quenched flow process, on structural changes of commercially available RNA was studied by ultraviolet （UV）, fluo- rescence, and agarose gel electrophoresis. Compared to native RNA, the ONOO--modified RNA showed hyper- chromicity at 260 nm. Furthermore, the ethidium bromide （EtBr） assisted emission intensities of ONOO--modified RNA samples were found to be lower than the emission intensity of native RNA-EtBr complex. Agarose gel electrophoresis of ONOO--modifled RNA showed a gradual decrease in band intensities compared to native RNA, an observation clearly due to the poor intercalation of EtBr with ONOO--modified RNA. Native and ONOO--modified RNA samples were used as an antigen to detect autoantibodies in sera of patients with clinically defined breast cancer. Both direct binding and inhibition enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） confirmed the prevalence of native and 0.8 mmol/L ONOO--modified RNA specific autoantibodies in breast cancer patients. Moreover, the progressive retarda- tion in the mobility of immune complexes formed with native or 0.8 mmol/L ONOO--modified RNA and affinity purified immunoglobulin G （IgG） from sera of breast cancer patients supports the findings of the direct binding and inhibition ELISAs. The peroxynitrite treatment to RNA at a higher concentration appears to have damaged or destroyed the typical epitopes on RNA and thus there was a sharp decrease in autoantibodies binding to 1.4 mmol/L ONOO--modified RNA. Several unique characteristics of Internet of Things(IoT)devices,such as distributed deployment and limited storage,make it challenging for standard centralized access control systems to enable access control in today’s large-scale IoT *** solve these challenges,this study presents an IoT access control system called Ether-IoT based on the Ethereum Blockchain(BC)infrastructure with Attribute-Based Access Control(ABAC).Access Contract(AC),Cache Contract(CC),Device Contract(DC),and Policy Contract(PC)are the four central smart contracts(SCs)that are included in the proposed *** offers a way to save user characteristics in a local cache system to avoid delays during transactions between BC and IoT *** is the fundamental program users typically need to run to build an access control *** offers a means for storing the resource data created by devices and a method for querying that *** offers administrative settings to handle ABAC policies on users’***-IoT,combined with ABAC and the BC,enables IoT access control management that is decentralized,fine-grained and dynamically *** research gives a real-world case study to illustrate the suggested framework’s *** the end,a simulation experiment is performed to evaluate the system’s *** ensure data integrity in dispersed systems,the results show that Ether-IoT can sustain high throughput in contexts with a large number of requests.

Background： An important product of mevalonate pathway is downstream synthesis of isoprenoid unitsthat has long been implicated in development and progression of tumor. It has been speculated thatinhibition of protein prenylation might be therapeutically beneficial. The objective of current study wasto evaluate antitumor potential of a novel therapeutic combination of mevalonate pathway inhibitors, FTI-277 and alendronate. We also examined differentially expressed proteins in response to treatment usingproteomics approach.

This research recognizes the limitation and challenges of adaptingand applying Process Mining as a powerful tool and technique in theHypothetical Software Architecture (SA) Evaluation Framework with thefeatures and factors of lightweightness. Process mining deals with the largescalecomplexity of security and performance analysis, which are the goalsof SA evaluation frameworks. As a result of these conjectures, all ProcessMining researches in the realm of SA are thoroughly reviewed, and ninechallenges for Process Mining Adaption are recognized. Process mining isembedded in the framework and to boost the quality of the SA model forfurther analysis, the framework nominates architectural discovery algorithmsFlower, Alpha, Integer Linear Programming (ILP), Heuristic, and Inductiveand compares them vs. twelve quality criteria. Finally, the framework’s testingon three case studies approves the feasibility of applying process mining toarchitectural evaluation. The extraction of the SA model is also done by thebest model discovery algorithm, which is selected by intensive benchmarkingin this research. This research presents case studies of SA in service-oriented,Pipe and Filter, and component-based styles, modeled and simulated byHierarchical Colored Petri Net techniques based on the cases’ *** this framework dealswith the system’s log files obtainedfrom SA simulation. Applying process mining is challenging, especially for aSA evaluation framework, as it has not been done yet. The research recognizesthe problems of process mining adaption to a hypothetical lightweightSA evaluation framework and addresses these problems during the solutiondevelopment.

Phytoremediation is a valuable technology for mitigating soil contamination in agricultural lands,but phytoremediation without economic revenue is unfeasible for land owners and *** use of crops with high biomass and bioenergy for phytoremediation is a unique strategy to derive supplementary benefits along with remediation ***(Helianthus annuus L.)is a high-biomass crop that can be used for the phytoremediation of polluted lands with additional advantages(biomass and oil).In this study,40 germplasms of sunflower were screened in field conditions for phytoremediation with the possibility for oil and meal *** study was carried out to the physiological maturity *** studied germplasms mopped up substantial concentrations of Pb,with maximum amounts in shoot>root>seed *** phytoextraction efficiency of the germplasm was assessed in terms of the Transfer factor(TF),Metal removal efficiency(MRE)and Metal extraction ratio(MER).Among all assessed criteria,GP.8585 was found to be most appropriate for restoring moderately Pb-contaminated soil accompanied with providing high biomass and high yield *** Pb content in the oil of GP.8585 was below the Food safety standard of China,with 59.5% oleic acid and 32.1% linoleic ***,amino acid analysis in meal illustrated significant differences among essential and nonessential amino *** acid was found in the highest percentage(22.4%),whereas cysteine in the lowest percentage(1.3%).Therefore,its efficient phytoextraction ability and good quality edible oil and meal production makes GP.8585 the most convenient sunflower germplasm for phytoremediation of moderately Pb-contaminated soil,with fringe benefits to farmers and landowners.
