Technological advancements continue to expand the communications industry’s ***,which are an important component in strengthening communication,are widely ***,image quality assessment(IQA)is critical in improving content delivered to end *** neural networks(CNNs)used in IQA face two common *** issue is that these methods fail to provide the best representation of the *** other issue is that the models have a large number of parameters,which easily leads to *** address these issues,the dense convolution network(DSC-Net),a deep learning model with fewer parameters,is proposed for no-reference image quality assessment(NR-IQA).Moreover,it is obvious that the use of multimodal data for deep learning has improved the performance of *** a result,multimodal dense convolution network(MDSC-Net)fuses the texture features extracted using the gray-level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)method and spatial features extracted using DSC-Net and predicts the image *** performance of the proposed framework on the benchmark synthetic datasets LIVE,TID2013,and KADID-10k demonstrates that the MDSC-Net approach achieves good performance over state-of-the-art methods for the NR-IQA task.

Poly caprolactone(PCL)and Poly caprolactone/TiO_(2)(PCL/TiO_(2))composite nanofiber with different weight percentage compositions(2 wt%,4 wt%and 6 wt%)of TiO_(2)were prepared and coated over AM50 alloy using electrospinning *** surface morphology and elemental composition result confirms that the PCL/TiO_(2)composite nanofiber fiber were successfully electrospun on the surface of AM50 *** degradation behavior of PCL and PCL/6 wt%TiO_(2)coated AM50 alloy was studied by immersing in Simulated Body Fluid(SBF)*** electrochemical and cell proliferation studies reveals that the cellular behavior of PCL and PCL/6 wt%TiO_(2)composite nanofiber exhibited good support for cell proliferation with enhanced corrosion resistance of AM50 alloy in SBF solution.

Cdln2S4 films were deposited by the pulse electrodeposition technique on tin oxide-coated glass substrates, at different duty cycles in the range of 6%-50%. The deposition potential was -0.7 V vs, saturated calomel electrode （SCE） using non-aqueous di（ethylene glycol） electrolyte, XRD analysis of the films indicated polycrystalline nature. Grain size, strain and dislocation density were evaluated from the XRD data, EDX analysis of the surface composition confirms the formation of stoichiometric Cdln2S4 films, Optical studies show a direct band-gap values in the range of 2.14-2.23 eV for the films deposited at different duty cycles. Room temperature resistivity of the films was in the range of 40-21 *** with the increase of duty cycle. Photoelectrochemical （PEC） solar cells constructed with the films deposited at 50% duty cycle and post-heat-treated at 500~C indicated open circuit voltage （Voc） of 0.595 V, short circuit current density （Jsc） of 6.20 ***-2, fill factor （if） of 0.61, efficiency （t/） of 3.75%, series resistance （Rs） of 4Q and shunt resistance （Rsh） of 2.50kQ. Making use of the advantages of pulse electrodeposition it can be used to deposit nanocrystalline films which can be employed in optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices.

Water management infrastructures such as floodgates are critical and increasingly operated by Industrial Control Systems(ICS).These systems are becoming more connected to the internet,either directly or through the corporate *** makes them vulnerable to *** behaviour in floodgates operated by ICS could be caused by both(intentional)attacks and(accidental)technical *** operators notice abnormal behaviour,they should be able to distinguish between those two causes to take appropriate measures,because for example replacing a sensor in case of intentional incorrect sensor measurements would be ineffective and would not block corresponding the attack *** the previous work,we developed the attack-failure distinguisher framework for constructing Bayesian Network(BN)models to enable operators to distinguish between those two causes,including the knowledge elicitation method to construct the directed acyclic graph and conditional probability tables of BN *** a full case study of the attack-failure distinguisher framework,this paper presents a BN model constructed to distinguish between attacks and technical failures for the problem of incorrect sensor measurements in floodgates,addressing the problem of floodgate *** utilised experts who associate themselves with the safety and/or security community to construct the BN model and validate the qualitative part of constructed BN *** constructed BN model is usable in water management infrastructures to distinguish between intentional attacks and accidental technical failures in case of incorrect sensor *** could help to decide on appropriate response strategies and avoid further complications in case of incorrect sensor measurements.

Predicting Virological Failure with Immunological Criteria in First Line ART Patients in a Resource Poor Setting

Indroduction: National Aids control Organisation in India implementing National AIDS control?program uses WHO’s immunological criteria to screen virological failure. Using immunological criteria to detect virological failure has to be assessed. Predicting virological failure with immunological criteria in resource limited settings had low sensitivity. Factors that influence the outcome are studied. Methods: Retrospective study in tertiary care centre for HIV and TB, Chennai, India. Out of 35,044 on ART between January 2008 and September 2009, 452 suspected immunological failures were referred. 273 screened for virological failure.?Frequency, sensitivity/specificity, positive/negative predictive values, chi-square test, odds-ratio, independent sample t test for viral load greater than 10,000 and 1000 of each immunological criterion using Epi-Info and SPSS version 19. Results: 172 had virological failure (62.09%). Average age of failed was 37.33. Single criteria’s sensitivity was 60 to 84 for detecting virolological failure. Two or more criteria had specificity 55 to 79. Combination of two or more criteria increased odds ratio for virological failure. Positive predictive value was above 63 for all criteria. PPV was above 80 to the criterion all three positive. Conclusions: ART naive patients with >95% adherence the sensitivity of immunological criteria to detect virological failure is three times than earlier studies. Combination of criteria is more significantly associated with virological failure. Odds ratio doubled for two or more combination of criteria. Immunological criteria is affordable/acceptable for screening virological failure, with adherence > 95% and longer the duration of ART.

Purpose: We aimed to assess the effects of sildenafil and evaluate optimal dosing in primary pulmonary hypertension(PPH). Sildenafil selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase 5(PDE5), which is abundant in pulmonary and penile tissue. This results in increasing nitric oxide(NO) at tissue level leading to pulmonary vasodilatation. Subjects and methods: Our study was a prospective study of sildenafil in 15 consecutive patients with severe symptomatic PPH of NYHA class III-IV. All patients were stabilized for a minimum period of 5 days with antifailure medications. Sildenafil was started at 50 mg twice daily for 4 weeks and increased to 100 mg bid for 4 more weeks in a step-up protocol. Primary end-points were change in Borg dyspnea index, NYHA class and 6-min walk distance, estimated at baseline 1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks. Results: NYHA class(baseline 3.8±0.4 vs. 4 weeks 2.4±0.5, p=0.002),Borg dyspnea index(8.1±1.7 vs. 4.4±1.9, p=0.0007), 6-min walk distance(234±44 vs. 377±128 m, p=0.001) and Pulmonary artery pressure(125±15 vs. 113±18 mm Hg p=0.05) are significantly improved with sildenafil 50 mg bid at 4 weeks. Increasing the dose to 100 mg bid did not produce further benefit. Echocardiography parameters of right heart dimensions and functions did not change markedly in the study period. Conclusion: Sildenafil is well tolerated with no adverse effects in severe pulmonary hypertension. It reduces symptoms, improves effort tolerance and controls refractory heart failure significantly by 2 weeks in 70%of patients at 50 mg twice daily.
