Quantitative representation of complicated behavior of fluid mixtures in the critical region by any of equation-of-state theories re-mains as a difficult thermodynamic topics to date. in the present work, a computational efforts were made for representing various types of critical loci of binary water with hydrocarbon systems showing Type ii and Type iii phase behavior by an elementary equation of state [called multi-fluid nonrandom lattice fluid EOS (MF-NLF EOS)] based on the lattice statistical mechanical theory. The model EOS requires two mo-lecular parameters which representing molecular size and interaction energy for a pure component and single adjustable interaction energy pa-rameter for binary mixtures. Critical temperature and pressure data were used to obtain molecular size parameter and vapor pressure data were used to obtain interaction energy parameter. The MF-NLF EOS model adapted in the present study correlated quantitatively well the critical loci of various binary water with hydrocarbon systems.

Hafnium oxide thin films doped with different concentrations of yttrium are prepared on Si（100） substrates at room temperature using a reactive magnetron sputtering *** effects of Y content on the bonding structure,crystallographic structure,and electrical properties of Y-doped HfO2 films are *** x-ray photoelectron spectrum（XPS） indicates that the core level peak positions of Hf 4 f and O 1 s shift toward lower energy due to the structure change after Y *** depth profiling of XPS shows that the surface of the film is completely oxidized while the oxygen deficiency emerges after the stripping depths have *** x-ray diffraction and high resolution transmission electron microscopy（HRTEM） analyses reveal the evolution from monoclinic HfO2 phase towards stabilized cubic HfO2 phase and the preferred orientation of（111） appears with increasing Y content,while pure HfO2 shows the monoclinic phase *** leakage current and permittivity are determined as a function of the Y *** best combination of low leakage current of 10-7 A/cm^2 at 1 V and a highest permittivity value of 29 is achieved when the doping ratio of Y increases to 9 mol%.A correlation among Y content,phase evolution and electrical properties of Y-doped HfO2 ultra-thin film is investigated.

Background： Plasma transfusion is a common clinical practice. Remote ischemic preconditioning （RiPC） protects organs against ischemia-reperfusion （iR） injury. Whether preconditioned plasma （PP）, collected at late phase after RiPC, could protect organs against iR injury in vivo is unknown. This study explored whether transfusion of PP could reduce myocardial inihrct size （iS） after i R in rat in vivo. Methods： Eighty Lewis rats were randomized to eight groups （n= 10 for each group）. Two groups of plasma donor rats donated plasma at 48 h after transient limb ischemia （PP） or control protocol （nonpreconditioned plasma [NPP]）. Six groups of recipient rats received normal saline （NS; NS-iR 1, and NS-1R 24 groups）, NPP （NPP-iR i and NPP-1R 24 groups）, or PP （PP-iR 1 and PP-iR 24 groups） at one or 24 h before myocardial iR. Myocardial iR consisted of 30-min left anterior descending （LAD） coronary artery occlusion and 180-rain reperihsion. The area at risk （AAR） and infarct area were determined by double-staining with Evans blue and triphenyltetrazolium chloride. iS was calculated by inihrct area divided by AAR. This was a 3 × 2 factorial design study, and factorial analysis was used to evaluate the data. if an interaction between the fluid and transfusion time existed, one-way analysis of variance with Bonferroni correction lbr multiple comparisons was used to analyze the single effects of fluid type when the transfusion time was fixed. Results： iS in the NPP-iR i and PP-iR1 groups was smaller than in the NS-iR i group （F - 6.838, P = 0.005; NPP-iR i： 57 ± 8% vs. NS-iRi： 68± 6%, t = 2.843, P - 0.020; PP-iR i： 56 ~ 8% vs. NS-iR 1：68 ~ 6%, t - 3.102, P - 0.009）, but no significant difference was detected between the NPP-iR 1 and PP-iR 1 groups （57 ± 8% vs. 56 ± 8%, t 0.069, P = 1.000）. iS in the N PP-iR 24 and PP-iR 24 groups was smaller than in the NS-iR 24 group （F - 24.796, P 〈 0.001： NPP-iR 24： 56% ± 7% vs. NS-iR 24：68 ± 7%, t = 3.102, P =0.026; PP-iR 24：40±9% vs. NS-iR

The determination of the methamidaphos pesticide residue on vegetables with a simple solid phase extract（SPE） flow injection（Fi） -chemiluminescence（CL） method is described. The method is based on the enhancing effect of methamidaphos on the CL reaction of luminol with hydrogen peroxide in an alkaline solution. Under the optimal conditions, the CL intensity is linear to the methamidaphos mass concentration in a range of 0. 2-13μg/mL （ r= 0. 9992）. The detection limit（3σ） is 0. 047μg/mL. The relative standard deviations for the analysis of three samples are 1.8%, 2.5% and 3.7% （ n = 5 ）, respectively. The recovery is in a range of 90%-109% by the method. in this work, this method was successfully applied to the determination of the methamidaphos residue on some vegetable samples.

Recent work has shown the dominance of the Himalaya in supporting the indian summer monsoon （iSM）, perhaps by surface sensible heating along its southern slope and by mechanical blocking acting to separate moist tropical flow from drier midlatitnde air. Previous studies have also shown that indian snmmer rainfall is largely unaffected in sensitivity experiments that remove only the Tibetan Plateau. However, given the large biases in simulating the monsoon in CMiP5 models, such results may be model dependent. This study investigates the impact of orographic forcing from the Tibetan Plateau, Himalaya and iranian Plateau on the iSM and East Asian snmmer monsoon （EASM） in the UK Met Office＇s HadGEM3-GA6 and china＇s institute of Atmospheric Physics FGOALS-FAMiL global climate models. The models chosen featnre oppositesigned biases in their simulation of the iSM rainfall and circulation climatology. The changes to iSM and EASM circulation across the sensitivity experiments are similar in both models and consistent with previous studies. However, considerable differences exist in the rainfall responses over india and china, and in the detailed aspects such as onset and retreat dates. in particular, the models show opposing changes in indian monsoon rainfall when the Himalaya and Tibetan Plateau orography are removed. Our results show that a multi-model approach, as suggested in the forthcoming Global Monsoon Model intercomparison Project （GMMiP） associated with CMiP6, is needed to clarify the impact of orographic forcing on the Asian monsoon and to fully understand the implications of model systematic error.

Reliable saliency detection can be used to quickly and effectively locate objects in images. in this paper, a novel algorithm for saliency detection based on superpixels clustering and stereo disparity （SDC） is proposed. Firstly, we use an improved superpixels clustering method to decompose the given image. Then, the disparity of each superpixel is computed by a modified stereo correspondence algorithm. Finally, a new measure which combines stereo disparity with color contrast and spatial coherence is defined to evaluate the saliency of each superpixel. From the experiments we can see that regions with high disparity can get higher saliency value, and the saliency maps have the same resolution with the source images, objects in the map have clear boundaries. Due to the use of superpixel and stereo disparity information, the proposed method is computationally efficient and outperforms some state-of-the-art color- based saliency detection methods.

An optical whispering gallery mode(WGM) resonator supports degenerate counter-propagating modes and the degeneracy is lifted as mode splitting due to Rayleigh scattering. However, quantitative analysis becomes difficult if the resonance experiences weak scattering. Here we develop a spectroscopical method to identify an arbitrary small scatterer using the Fano interference-induced spectral response modification. Scattering information can be revealed by fitting the responses as a function of the field’s phase and intensity. in addition, we show that this modified response helps achieve an ultra-low detection limit for the mode-splitting-based nanoparticle detection method. This approach may be promising in the characterization of high-Q-factor devices, novel sensing methods, and quantum coupling system investigation.

Natural rubber/styrene-butadiene-styrene(NR/SBS)membrane was prepared by solution blend,and then used for recovery of butanol from its dilute solution by pervaporation(PV).The thermodynamic and mechanical properties of NR/SBS blend membrane were characterized by TGA and tensile test,respectively.A layer of relatively dense blend membrane with the thickness of about 37μm was closely cast on a layer of porous polyvinylidene difluoride(PVDF)*** there was no obvious phase separation observed between the interface of two *** flux and separation factor increased with increasing feed *** flux increased as feed concentration increased *** blend membrane which got the best performance obtained membrane separation factor of 28.8 with total flux of 2695.2 g/m^(2)h at 70℃ when feed concentration was 4.00wt%.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is one of the most lethal malignancies and is developing into the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related ***,the clinical and radiological presentation of PDAC may be mirrored by other inflammatory pancreatic masses,such as autoimmune pancreatitis(AiP)and massforming chronic pancreatitis(MFCP),making its diagnosis *** AiP and MFCP from PDAC is vital due to significant therapeutic and prognostic *** diagnostic criteria and tools allow the precise differentiation of benign from malignant masses;however,the diagnostic accuracy is *** pancreatic resections have been performed in AiP cases under initial suspicion of PDAC after a diagnostic approach failed to provide an accurate *** is not unusual that after a thorough diagnostic evaluation,the clinician is confronted with a pancreatic mass with uncertain *** those cases,a re-evaluation must be entertained,preferably by an experienced multispecialty team including radiologists,pathologists,gastroenterologists,and surgeons,looking for disease-specific clinical,imaging,and histological hallmarks or collateral evidence that could favor a specific *** aim is to describe current diagnostic limitations that hinder our ability to reach an accurate diagnosis among AiP,PDAC,and MFCP and to highlight those disease-specific clinical,radiological,serological,and histological characteristics that could support the presence of any of these three disorders when facing a pancreatic mass with uncertain diagnosis after an initial diagnostic approach has been unsuccessful.
