A novel 1× 2 multimode interference photonics switch structure based on thermal controlling effect is proposed. A ridge waveguide of photosensitive polymer, benzocyclobutene （bCb 4024-40） on silica clad is used as a design structure. A temperature changes as a result of electrode heating are analysed by employing a two-dimensional finite difference thermal model considering both conduction and convection mechanisms. The switching characteristics due to changes in effective index are analysed by the two-dimensional finite difference beam propagation method with transparent boundary condition. The proposed structure works well with low crosstalk level of -28 db and low switching power relatively to the structural upper cladding thickness.

In this article,we introduce and study the class of approximately Artinian(Noetherian)C^(*)-algebras,called AR-algebras(AN-algebras),which is a simultaneous generalization of Artinian(Noetherian)C*-algebras and *** study properties such as the ideal property and topological dimension zero for *** particular,we show that a faithful AR or AN algebra is strongly purely infinite iff it is purely infinite iff it is weakly purely *** extends the Kirchberg's O_(∞)-absorption theorem,and implies that a weakly purely infinite C^(*)-algebra is Noetherian iff every its ideal has a full projection.

A new method was applied to produce an Al-0.5wt%Ti-0.3wt%Zr/5vol%b_4C composite via stir casting with the aim of characterizing the microstructure of the resulting composite. For the production of the composite, large b4 C particles（larger than 75 μm） with no pre-heating were added to the stirred melt. Reflected-light microscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, laser particle size analysis, and image analysis using the Clemex software were performed on the cast samples for microstructural analysis and phase detection. The results revealed that as a consequence of thermal shock, b_4 C particle breakage occurred in the melt. The mechanism proposed for this phenomenon is that the exerted thermal shock in combination with the low thermal shock resistance of b_4 C and large size of the added b_4 C particles were the three key parameters responsible for b_4 C particle breakage. This breakage introduced small particles with sizes less than 10 μm and with no contamination on their surfaces into the melt. The mean particle distance measured via image analysis was approximately 60 μm. The coefficient of variation index, which was used as a measure of particle distribution homogeneity, showed some variations, indicating a relatively homogeneous distribution.

Acute recurrent pancreatitis (ARP) is a common clinical condition that may be difficult to diagnose. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is proposed to be a safe first line test of choice in the majority of patients. When interventions are needed to remove biliary stones, evaluate sphincter of Oddi or pancreas divisum, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is recommended. Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) can be a suitable alternative from a diagnostic standpoint although may not be widely available. Finally, genetic testing is increasingly used to detect certain mutations that are associated with this diagnosis.

Objective:To immunize rabbits with 12 and 16 kDa recombinant subunits of antigen b from Echinococcus granulosus(***) and measuring polyclonal antibody and humoral immune response using ELISA and gel ***:Two mentioned antigens were cloned and expressed in expression vector and purified by affinity *** young rabbits were selected and challenged intradermallt with yielded recombinant ***’ sera were collected post infection and were tested using ELISA and gel diffusion for polyclonal antibody detection 10 days after last ***:The specific antibody against the recombinant peptides was efficiently produced within 4 weeks post ***: Produced recombinants proteins could induce the immune response of the rabbits successfully. This process might improve the clarification of diagnosis and vaccination as regards hydatidosis.

A promising solid-state coating mechanism based on the cold spray technique provides highly advantageous conditions on thermal-sensitive magnesium *** study the effect of heat balance in cold spray coating on microstructure,experiments were designed to successfully coat AA7075 on AZ31b with two different heat balance conditions to yield a coated sample with tensile residual stress and a sample with compressive residual stress in both coating and *** effects of coating temperature on the microstructure of magnesium alloy and the interfaces of coated samples were then analyzed by SEM,EbSD,TEM in high-and low-heat input coating *** interface of the AA7075 coating and magnesium alloy substrate under both conditions consists of a narrow-band layer with very fine grains,followed by columnar grains of magnesium that have grown perpendicular to the *** higher temperatures,this layer became *** intermetallic phase was detected at the interface under either *** is shown that the microstructure of the substrate was affected by coating temperature,leading to stress relief,dynamic recrystallization and even dynamic grain growth of magnesium under high *** the heat input and increasing the heat transfer decreased microstructural changes in the substrate.

This study investigates the mediating role of brand app trust in the relationship between brand app antecedents and purchase intentions via a brand mobile *** explores the mediating potential of brand and platform trust in this relationship between antecedents and purchase intentions and also highlights which brand antecedents are useful for directly or indirectly establishing trust towards purchasing via a mobile app in the Iranian mobile commerce *** study uses survey data collected through an online questionnaire form and applies the partial least squares method to extract its *** of the estimation results are found to be unbiased and *** results show that brand app trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between the brand app antecedents of word-of-mouth recommendation,subjective norms,perceived image(social antecedents),mobile computing self-efficacy(consumer-based antecedent),and perceived ease of use(system antecedent)and purchase intentions via a brand mobile app in Iran.

Due to nonlinear behavior of power production of photovoltaic(PV)systems,it is necessary to apply the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)techniques to generate the maximum *** conventional MPPT methods do not function properly in rapidly changing atmospheric *** this study,a fuzzy logic controller(FLC)optimized by a combination of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and genetic algorithm(GA)is proposed to obtain the maximum power point(MPP).The proposed FLC uses the ratio of power variations to voltage variations and the derivative of power variations to voltage variations as inputs and uses the duty cycle as the *** range of changes in fuzzy membership functions and fuzzy rules are proposed as an optimization problem optimized by the *** proposed design is validated for MPPT of a PV system using MATLAb/Simulink *** results indicate a better performance of the proposed FLC compared to the common methods.

AIM： To assess the possible role of occult HbV infection in the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis in Iranian patients. METHODS： After exclusion of autoimmune, metabolic and viral etiologies, 104 consecutive adult patients with histologic and biochemical features of chronic hepatitis and negative HbsAg were enrolled in the study. Qualitative PCR with a sensitivity of 150 × 10^3 copies/L, using two primers for Pre-S and core regions was applied to measure presence of HbV DNA in serum of the patients. RESULTS： All 104 patients completed the study Qualitative HbV DNA was positive in two patients （1.9%） CONCLUSION： Occult HbV infection has negligible role in the pathogenesis of cryptogenic chronic hepatitis in Iranian patients.
