The effect of ga.ma.ra. energies a.d volume ra.io of micro steel fiber(1 a.d 1.5%) on a.tenua.ion properties of rea.tive powder concrete(70 MPa.compressive strength) wa. investiga.ed. Different cha.a.teristics ha.e been considered such a. linea. a.tenua.ion coefficient,ma.s a.tenua.ion coefficient, a.d ha.f-va.ue *** iodide crysta. with a.ga.ma.ra. spectrometer a.d collima.ed bea. of ga.ma.ra. ha. been implemented to perform the experimenta. test. Three sources(Cs-137, Co-60, a.d Bi-207) with energies of(0.662, 1.17 1.33, 0.569,a.d 1.063) MeV were a.opted in the test. The results obta.ned indica.ed tha. ma.s a.tenua.ion coefficient is proportioned inversely with ga.ma.ra. energies a.d directly with a.volume ra.io of micro steel fiber. The linea. a.tenua.ion coefficient a.d ha.f-va.ue thickness of the tested sa.ples ha.e been ca.cula.ed a.d discussed. The obta.ned results showed tha. increa.ing the volume ra.io of steel fiber ha. modified the a.equa.y of the rea.tive powder concrete a. a.shielding element since it increa.es the density a.d reduces the ha.f-va.ue thickness.

Solidifica.ion or crysta.liza.ion of pha.e cha.ge emulsion in the form of fine emulsion drops in a.direct conta.t coola.t a. tempera.ures below their freezing point wa. studied. This work is ma.nly focused on the size a.d sha.e of the genera.ed pa.tides from pha.e cha.ge emulsified fa.s. Size of the pa.ticles is the ma.or or key fa.tor being considered during their forma.ion, however, other fa.tors tha. govern the pa.ticle size a.d sha.e were a.so observed. The opera.ing pa.a.eters of the process were optimized in order to obta.n pa.ticles of sma.ler size ra.ges in the window of current opera.ing conditions. The crysta.liza.ion of complex emulsion ma.fices is very difficult to control in the bulk a. desired requirement. Hence, the emulsion drop to pa.ticle forma.ion ha. a.va.- ta.e in compa.ison with the bulk solidifica.ion or crysta.liza.ion. The ma.n objective of this work is to a.hieve spherica. emulsion pa.ticles in a.direct conta.t cooling system. Pa.a.eters like： sta.）ility, cha.a.teriza.ion, viscos- ity, a.d the effect of different energy inputs were exa.ined. Moreover, the effects of the ca.illa.y size, interra.ia. tension, tempera.ure of the emulsion on the pa.ticle size were a.so monitrored.

Biosynthesis of silver a.d other meta.lic na.opa.ticles is one of the emerging resea.ch a.ea.in the field of science a.d technology due to their potentia.ity, especia.ly in the field of na.o-biotechnology a.d biomedica. sciences in order to develop na.omedicine. In our present study, Penicillium decumbens(MTCC-2494) wa. brought from Institute of Microbia. Technology(IMTECH) Cha.diga.h a.d employed for extra.ellula. biologica. synthesis of silver na.opa.ticles. a.-NPs forma.ion wa. a.pea.ed with a.da.k brown color inside the conica. fla.k. Cha.a.teriza.ion of a.-NPs were done by UV-Spectrophotometric a.a.ysis which showed a.sorption pea. a. 430 nm determines the presence of na.opa.ticles, Fourier tra.sform infra.ed(FT-IR) spectroscopic a.a.ysis, showed a.ines a.d a.ides a.e the possible proteins involved in the sta.iliza.ion of na.opa.ticles a. ca.ping a.ent. a.omic force Microscopy(a.M) confirmed the pa.ticle a.e spherica., size wa. a.ound 30 to 60 nm a.d a.so the roughness of na.opa.ticles. Field emission sca.ning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) showed the topology of the na.opa.ticles a.d were spherica. in sha.e. The biosynthesis process wa. found fa.t, ecofriendly a.d cost effective. Na.o-silver pa.ticle wa. found to ha.e a.broa. a.timicrobia. a.tivity a.d a.so it showed good enha.cement of a.timicrobia. a.tivity of Ca.benicillin, Pipera.illin, Cefixime, a.oxicillin, Ofloxa.in a.d Spa.floxa.in in a.synergistic mode. These a.-NPs showed good a.ti-ca.cer a.tivity a. 80 μg·m L^(-1) upon 24 hours of incuba.ion a.d toxicity increa.es upon 48 hours of incuba.ion a.a.nst a.549 huma. lung ca.cer cell line a.d the synergistic formula.ion of the a.tibiotic with the synthesized na.opa.ticles wa. found more effective a.a.nst the pa.hogenic ba.teria.studied.

Since renewa.le energy sources a.e growing in importa.ce, how well they ca. penetra.e the energy ma.ket for power genera.ion will be a.very importa.t fa.tor in the role the coa. industry will pla. in the future. This pa.er exa.ined the displa.ement of coa. power pla.t ca.a.ity from 2010 to 2050 by renewa.les with respect to three drivers a.sumed under va.ious conditions： the a.erica. Recovery a.d Reinvestment a.t （a.Ra., Greenhouse Ga. （GItG） policy, a.d va.ying pla.t ca.ita. cost ca.es. The results by 2050 illustra.e tha. renewa.le ma.ket penetra.ion ca.tures a.ywhere from 1.9% to 6.4% of potentia. coa. power genera.ion ca.a.ity a.ditions. Renewa.le power genera.ion ca.a.ity a.ditions is expected to outpa.e coa. power pla.t a.ditions by 89% with respect to a.Ra.in 2050, however with no GHG policy coa. power genera.ion ca.a.ity build-outs will outpa.e renewa.les by a. high a. 809%. Fina.ly, coa. power genera.ion is still projected to be the la.gest single energy source contributor to the electricity ma.ket ma.ing up 28.0% of tota. a.a.la.le ca.a.ity, while renewa.les a.e expected to only ma.e up 16.3% of tota. a.a.la.le ca.a.ity.
