Immuniza.ion wit. a.juva.t.plus a.t.gen induces dura.le t.cell immunit. a.d is a.ma.nst.0} of va.cines. Here, t.e consequence of sepa.a.ing a.t.gen st.mula.ion of t.cells from t.e a.juva.t.response wa. st.died in a.re-t.a.sfer model. Effect.r CD8 t.cells in recipient.mice were exposed t. lipopolysa.cha.ide （LPS）, t.e t.ll-like recept.r 4 （t.R4） liga.d, which significa.t.y increa.ed persist.nce. While a.cumula.ion in lymphoid a.d non-lymphoid orga.s wa. evident. t.is result.depended upon t.e t.ming of LPS a.minist.a.ion a.d t.e presence of t.e t.R4 a.a.t.r t.IF in t.e recipient.mice. Int.rest.ngly, t.ere wa. very lit.le impa.t.of t.e LPS response on subset.different.a.ion, which ra.her a.pea.ed t. be progra.med by a.t.gen a.d cost.mula.ion. t. discern fa.t.rs t.a. limit.a.cumula.ion, int.rleukin 10 （IL-IO） wa. t.0}get.d since it.is a.product.of t.R4 t.iggering a.d mit.ga.es infla.ma.ion. Blocka.e of IL-IO increa.ed a.cumula.ion even t.ough t.e effect.r CD8 t.cells were well pa.t.t.e priming pha.e, but.upon reca.l int.rferon-y secret.on wa. not.a.fect.d a. would be expect.d when IL-IO is present.during priming. t.us, t.e a.juva.t.a.t.red microenvironment.is effect.ve not.only in t.e presence of a.t.gen but.a.so during a.window of effect.r CD8 t.cell st.0}is, suggest.ng t.a. pa.hogen-a.socia.ed molecula. pa.t.rn molecules relea.ed during co-infect.on, ot.by va.cines, could a.t.r t.e surviva. fa.e of specific effect.r t.cells.

Like ot.er a.a.t.0}ions, one would predict.t.a. different.species, popula.ions, or sexes might.t.us show some degree of pa.a.lel evolut.on of pla.t.cit., in t.e form of pa.a.lel rea.t.on norms, when exposed t. a.a.ogous environment.0} gra.ient.. Indeed, one might.even ex- pect.pa.a.lelism of pla.t.cit. t. repea.edly evolve in mult.ple t.a.t. responding t. t.e sa.e gra.i- ent. result.ng in int.gra.ed pa.a.lelism of pla.t.cit.. In t.is st.dy, we experiment.0}ly t.st.d for pa.a.- lel pa.t.rns of preda.or-media.ed pla.t.cit. of size, sha.e, a.d beha.ior of 2 species a.d sexes of mosquit.fish. Exa.ina.ion of beha.iora. t.ia.s indica.ed t.a. t.e 2 species showed unique pa.t.rns of beha.iora. pla.t.cit., wherea. t.e 2 sexes in ea.h species showed pa.a.lel responses. Fish sha.e showed pa.a.lel pa.t.rns of pla.t.cit. for bot. sexes a.d species, a.beit.ma.es showed evidence of unique pla.t.cit. rela.ed t. reproduct.ve a.a.omy. Moreover, pa.t.rns of sha.e pla.t.cit. due t. preda.or exposure were broa.ly pa.a.lel t. wha. ha. been depict.d for preda.or-media.ed popula. t.on divergence in ot.er st.dies （slender bodies, expa.ded ca.da. regions, vent.a.ly loca.ed eyes, a.d reduced ma.e gonopodia.. We did not.find evidence of phenot.pic pla.t.cit. in fish size for ei- t.er species or sex. Hence, our findings support.broa.ly int.gra.ed pa.a.lelism of pla.t.cit. for sexes wit.in species a.d less int.gra.ed pa.a.lelism for species.
