Ba.illus subtilis (B. subtilis) JZXJ-7 isola.ed from shrimp pa.te ca. significa.tly degra.e hista.ine under sa.t stress but the mecha.ism is unclea.. This study a.ms to eva.ua.e the effect of 170 a.d 340 mmol/L Na.l on B. subtilis JZXJ-7 growth， hista.ine degra.a.ion， a.tioxida.t enzymes [ca.a.a.e (Ca.)， superoxide dismuta.e (SOD) a.d gluta.hione S-tra.sfera.e (GST)] a.tivities a.d Na.， K+-a.Pa.e a.tivity. Furthermore， compa.a.ive meta.olomics wa. used to investiga.e hista.ine biodegra.a.ion mecha.ism by *** JZXJ-7 subjected to sa.t stress. Both 170 a.d 340 mmol/L Na.l promoted B. subtilis JZXJ-7 growth in la.e sta.es of reproduction (32 - 48 h)， increa.ed hista.ine degra.a.ion ra.e by 64.85% a.d 79.87% (P a.， K+-a.Pa.e a.tivity to 6.28 U/mg (P a.d 11.63 U/mg (P a.l trea.ment significa.tly increa.ed the a.tivities of Ca.， GST a.d SOD (P a.ino a.ids a.d its meta.olites (33.39%)， benzene a.d substituted deriva.ives (12.05%)， heterocyclic compounds (10.62%)， orga.ic a.ids a.d deriva.ives (9.75%)， a.dehydes， ketones， esters (5.59%) a.d nucleotides a.d its meta.olites (4.58%). Meta.olite set enrichment a.a.ysis revea.ed Na.l induced differentia. meta.olic pa.hwa.s of D-gluta.ine， D-gluta.a.e， L-a.ginine， L-proline， histidine a.d glycerophospholipids， L-lysine degra.a.ion， a.d a.inoa.yl-tRNa.biosynthesis. Exposure to 340 mmol/L Na.l up-regula.ed ca.bohydra.e， gluta.hione a.d glycerophospholipid meta.olism. The new insights into the mecha.ism of sa.t stress to promote B. subtilis JZJX-7 growth， energy meta.olic pa.hwa.s a.d to degra.e hista.ine provide the theoretica. ba.is for a.plica.ion of B. subtilis JZXJ-7 in food fermenta.ion industry.
