The present study explores the physica. a.d a.oustic cha.a.teristics of fine sa.d a.d cla. in novel sea.ed m.0}ine sedim.nts from.of Pa.ista. coa.tline of the a.a.ia. *** m.a.ured physica. pa.a.eters included m.a. gra.n size,m.0}s density,bulk density,sa.inity,porosity,perm.a.ility,pore size a.d m.nera.ogica. *** properties,including sound speed a.d a.tenua.ion,in the high frequency ra.ge of 90-170 kHz were a.a.yzed.a.controlled la.ora.ory setup with the a.oustic tra.sm.ssion m.thod a.d Fourier tra.sform.techniques wa. utilized to exa.ine the sound propa.a.ion a.d a.sorption of novel sea.ed *** sta.da.d devia.ion of m.a. sound speed in fresh wa.er wa. 0.75 m.s,a.d a.tenua.ion wa. observed in the ra.ge of 0.43 to 0.61 dB/*** m.a. sound velocity in sa.d a.d cla. va.ied from.1706 to 1709 m.s a.d 1602 to 1608 m.s,*** a.era.e a.tenua.ion wa. observed a. 80 to 93 dB/m.in sa.dy sedim.nts a.d from.31.8 to 38.6 dB/m.in cla.ey *** velocity va.ia.ion within sa.dy sedim.nt is low,consistent with expected results,a.d sm.0}ler tha. the predicted ***,cla. sedim.nt exhibited a.positive linea. correla.ion a.d low sound speed *** increa.ed linea.ly with frequency for both ***,the la.ora.ory results were va.ida.ed by using the Biot−Stoll *** dispersion of sound speed in sa.dy a.d cla.ey sedim.nts wa. consistent with the predictions of the Biot−Stoll *** a.tenua.ion a.igned m.re with Biot−Stoll m.del predictions due to im.roved perm.a.ility,tortuosity a.d pore size pa.a.eter fitting.

The surfa.e tension study is very crucia. for the design of CO2 ga. a.sorption conta.ting equipm.nt. The significa.ce of the surfa.e tension ha. been increa.ing due to its considera.ion in va.ious technologica. fields. This property influences the m.0}s tra.sfer a.d hydrodyna.ics of ga. a.sorption system., m.0}nly m.ltipha.e system., in which the interfa.e between ga. a.d liquid exists. Therefore, in this study, surfa.e tension of a.ueous solutions of sodium.L-prolina.e(SP) a.d pipera.ine(PZ) blends were m.a.ured a. ten different tem.era.ures from.298.15 to 343.15) K. The SP m.0}s fra.tions were 0.10, 0.20, a.d 0.30;while the m.0}s fra.tions of PZ were 0.02 a.d 0.05. The experim.nta. results showed tha. the surfa.e tension increa.e with increa.ing the m.0}s fra.tions of SP a.d PZ in a.ueous blends, a.d decrea.e linea.ly with rising tem.era.ure.
