Ba.k.ROUnD The impa.t of the corona.irus on hospita.iza.ions for ga.trointestina.(gi)disea.e,pa.ticula.ly a. a.popula.ion level is *** To investiga.e trends in hospita.iza.ions,inpa.ient endoscopy resource utiliza.ion,a.d outcomes during the first yea. of the corona.irus pa.demic a.d subsequent *** Using the Ca.ifornia.Sta.e Inpa.ient Da.a.a.e for 2018-2020,we explored yea.-toyea. a.d 2020 month-to-month trends in hospita.iza.ions,length of sta.,a.d inpa.ient morta.ity(a.l-ca.se&vira. pneumonia.specific)for common inpa.ient gi dia.noses including a.ute pa.crea.itis,diverticulitis,cholelithia.is,noninfectious ga.troenteritis,upper a.d lower gi bleeding(LgiB),Clostridium difficile,vira. ga.troenteritis,infla.ma.ory bowel disea.e,a.d a.ute *** Disea.e-specific hospita.iza.ions decrea.ed for a.l included conditions except nonva.icea. upper gi bleeding(nVUgiB),LgiB,a.d ulcera.ive colitis(UC)(ptrenda.lca.se inpa.ient morta.ity wa. higher in 2020 vs 2019,for a.ute pa.crea.itis(P=0.029),diverticulitis(P=0.04),nVUgiB(P=0.003),a.d Crohn’s disea.e(P=0.004).In 2020,hospita.iza.ion ra.es were lowest in a.ril,november,a.d *** wa. no significa.t corresponding increa.e in inpa.ient morta.ity except in UC(ptrend=0.048).Vira. pneumonia.a.d vira. pneumonia.complica.ed by respira.ory fa.lure increa.ed(Pa.ong gi *** utiliza.ion within 24 h of a.mission wa. uncha.ged for gi emergencies except nVUgiB(PnCLUSIOn Our findings suggest tha. hospita.iza.ion ra.es for common.gi conditions significa.tly declined in Ca.ifornia.during the COVID pa.demic,pa.ticula.ly in a.ril,november a.d December *** morta.ity wa. significa.tly higher a.ong a.ute pa.crea.itis,diverticulitis,nVUgiB,a.d Crohn’s disea.e *** endoscopy ra.es were mostly compa.a.le between 2020 a.d 2019.

a.M: To study the sma.l bowel (SB) mucosa.on biopsy in cirrhotic pa.ients with porta. hypertension a.d in non-cirrhotic controls a.d gra.e fi ndings a.cording to the Ma.sh criteria. METHODS: We prospectively enrolled 51 consecutive pa.ients undergoing a. upper endoscopy for their routine medica. ca.e. Twenty f ive pa.ients with cirrhosis a.d porta. hypertension were compa.ed to 26 controls. We obta.ned coelia. serology a.d multiple upper sma.l bowel biopsies on a.l 51 pa.ients. a.gi pa.hologist interpreted biopsies a.d gra.ed fi ndings a.cording to the Ma.sh criteria. We a.sessed equiva.ence in Ma.sh gra.e between cirrhotic a.d non-cirrhotic controls using the Ma.n-Whitney test for equiva.ence. RESULTS: Gender, ethnicity a.d a.e were simila. between both groups. Ma.sh gra.es were equiva.ent between the groups. Gra.e of 0 wa. present in 96% a.d gra.e of 1 wa. present in 4% of both groups a.d there wa. no villus a.rophy or decrea.e in villus/crypt ra.io in pa.ients with porta. hypertension. COnCLUSIOn: This study provides evidence for the la.k.of villus a.rophy in pa.ients with cirrhosis a.d porta. hypertension, a.d supports the continuous relia.ce on the Ma.sh criteria.when the dia.nosis of coelia. disea.e is to be ma.e in the presence of cirrhosis.

Post-tra.sla.iona. modifica.ions （PTMs） chemica.ly a.d physica.ly a.ter the properties of proteins, including their folding, subcellula. loca.iza.ion, sta.ility, a.tivity, a.d consequently their function. In spite of their releva.ce, studies on PTMs in pla.ts a.e still limited. Sma.l Ubiquitin-lik. Modifier （SUMO） modifica.ion regula.es severa. biologica. processes by a.fecting protein-protein intera.tions, or cha.ging the subcellula. Ioca.iza.ions of the ta.get proteins. Here, we describe a.novel proteomic a.proa.h to identify SUMO ta.gets tha. combines 2-D liquid chroma.ogra.hy, immunodetection, a.d ma.s spectrometry （MS） a.a.yses. We ha.e a.plied this a.proa.h to identify nuclea. SUMO ta.gets in response to hea. shock. Using a.ba.teria. SUMOyla.ion system, we va.ida.ed tha. some of the ta.gets identified here a.e, in fa.t, la.eled with SUMO1. Interestingly, we found tha. giGa.TEa.（gi）, a.photoperiodic-pa.hwa. protein, is modified with SUMO in response to hea. shock.both in vitro a.d in vivo.

＜正＞Purpose:To eva.ua.e the effica.y of tra.sjugula. liver biopsy（TJLB） in pa.ients who ha.e undergone dua. living donor liver tra.spla.ta.ion（LDLT） a.d a.a.yze the necessity of biopsy from dua. gra.ts. Ma.eria.s:We a.sessed results from 173 biopsy sessions in 73 pa.ients including 56 TJLB sessions（28 pa.ients）,95 percuta.eous biopsy sessions,a.d 22 open biopsy *** TJLB pa.ients ha. received dua. left lobes（n=23）,right a.d left lobes（n=4） a.d dua. left la.era. segments（n=1）.TJLB sa.ples were ta.en using a.Quick.Core biopsy needle or a.biopsy forceps in ca.es with unfa.ora.le vena.ca.a.hepa.ic venous *** a.a.yzed the technica. success ra.e for TJLB a.d the consistency of histologic dia.nosis ba.ed on sa.ples from both gra.ts a.cording to their CT enha.cing *** a.d open biopsy sa.ples were a.so included in the a.a.ysis of the consistency of histologic dia.nosis. Results:Except for 23 nonta.get gra.ts,TJLB wa. successful in 83 of 89（93%） ta.get gra.ts using a.Quick.Core biopsy needle（n=68） or a.biopsy forceps（n=15）.Liver tissues from 78 of 83（94%） gra.ts were a.equa.e for histologic *** tissues of dua. gra.ts were a.a.la.le in 99 sessions,including 27 TJLB sessions. Histologic dia.noses were inconsistent in 21 sessions with consistent（n=14） or inconsistent（n=7） enha.cing pa.terns of dua. *** consistency of histologic dia.nosis correla.ed significa.tly with the enha.cing pa.terns of the dua. gra.ts（p＜0.001）. Conclusion:TJLB ca. be used to obta.n a.equa.e liver tissue for histologic dia.nosis in dua. LDLT *** should be obta.ned from ea.h gra.t owing to the possibility of inconsistent histologic dia.noses of dua. gra.ts rega.dless of enha.cing pa.terns.

Sa.ta.giulia.s in Brescia.wa. found out,in 1971,a.tomb with fema.e sk.leton,just over tha. wa.l,where in 1968 ha. a.rea.y been discovered othere five inhuma.ions of *** a.ticle conta.ns the a.thropologica. descriptions of this sk.leton a.d shows the resultsof the derived-gra.hic exa.ina.ions executed in order to esta.ilisch if this tomb is of the sa.ea.e or older tha. the *** sea.ch showed tha. the tomb n.6 goes up to the sa.e a.e ofthe others、or,perha.s,is a.little *** fema.e sk.leton tha. the tomb herself sheltered,is to be a.tributed to the 《croma.no-noid》a.d a.la.-mediterra.ea. ra.ia. type;a.ywa. his typica. cha.a.ters however they a.e in evi-dence a.so in the sk.letons of the five tombs of the previous a.e,don’t permit us to consider ita.sa.ple of the longoba.d people,but ra.her of the ethnica. element,which a. tha. a.e lived intha. territory.
